Karl's breakthrough caused his aura to erupt across the entire universe.

Countless powerhouses sensed that fluctuation.

Among them were, naturally, Dormammu and Thanos—both of whom had been targeting Kamar-Taj all along.

In truth, Dormammu was the one paying the closest attention to Kamar-Taj.

And precisely because of that, Dormammu was utterly frustrated—so much so that he directly destroyed the remnants of several shattered planets within the Dark Dinsion.

In Dormammu's eyes, the scale of ti was completely different from that of ordinary beings.

One year—

To humans, it could represent three to five full cycles of change.

But to Dormammu, it was nothing more than a blink.

A single flicker of ti.

And yet—

In that single blink, that sorcerer nad Karl had actually broken through?

Broken through to a brand-new Skyfather-level?!

What kind of joke was this?!

Even though Dormammu had lived for tens of billions of years, he still couldn't stop the shock rising in his heart.

This human simply wasn't normal.

Was this a god reborn?

After the shock ca rage—an incomparably furious emotion surging up within him.

His overwhelmingly powerful ntal force directly twisted the space around him.

With a stir of Dormammu's will—

A clone ford beside him.

He tore open a spatial rift.

Then four clones leapt through, barging straight onto Thanos's flagship.

The sheer intensity of that dark power made the flagship feel as though it was about to be swallowed whole.

"Dormammu!"

"Don't run wild on my ship!"

Thanos's expression wasn't pleasant either.

Still, he rose to his feet—because the space around him was sinking and collapsing.

Dormammu was furious, but in the end he restrained his power.

Even so, the crew mbers who had been caught under that darkness were instantly swallowed into his abyss.

"Thanos, you worthless piece of trash!"

"A whole year, and you still haven't produced a large enough army!"

"Do you have any idea what has happened on the battlefield?!"

"Those damned Earth sorcerers have gained yet another Skyfather-level existence!"

"Our plan may very well fail because of this!"

Dormammu's hoarse voice echoed through the chamber—yet even Thanos felt a chill hidden inside those words.

"That's because your dark soldiers consu far too much energy."

"I had no choice but to start collecting across the universe."

Thanos replied coldly.

After witnessing Thanos's Outriders, Dormammu had been extrely dissatisfied.

In his view, relying on that kind of expendable fodder ant they had no chance of breaking the sorcerers' defenses.

So—

Dormammu provided his own power.

He infused those Outriders with massive amounts of dark power.

That could greatly boost their strength.

But at the sa ti—

The energy and biomass required to tune and cultivate those bio-weapons multiplied severalfold.

Thanos had been forced to unleash a bloody storm across the cosmos.

He had even erased a few living worlds completely.

Naturally, that made assembling the army take longer.

But—

Dormammu would never accept those reasons.

"Thanos, don't make excuses for yourself."

"If you hadn't failed to fulfill our agreent, the sorcerers of Kamar-Taj wouldn't have improved this much."

Dormammu's cold, sinister voice rang out again.

"Hmph."

"And you're any better?"

"With intelligence this important, you still couldn't find anything out?"

"Are you really Dormammu, the legendary Dark Lord?"

Thanos didn't hold back in the slightest.

A mocking smile spread across his face.

It made Dormammu's anger flare even hotter.

If not for the fact that above Kamar-Taj there were still hidden dark shields—on the scale of hundreds of millions of stars—

How could he have failed to uncover any intel?

And for so reason—

Those sorcerers had beco extrely vigilant. They couldn't be tempted at all anymore.

The mont they sensed his power, they imdiately went to seek stronger sorcerers.

Under those circumstances—

Over the past year, Dormammu had essentially been blind regarding Kamar-Taj, knowing almost nothing.

If Karl hadn't suddenly broken through and erupted with such terrifying power—

Then even now, he'd still have no way to confirm what was happening.

So when Thanos said it, Dormammu truly had no argunt.

And precisely because of that—

Dormammu was even angrier.

Dark power erupted from him again.

"What? Dormammu—are you going to fight here?"

Thanos also rose from his seat, his entire body radiating with a violent, oppressive aura.

If this were Dormammu's territory, then of course he wouldn't be a match.

But a re clone wanted to swagger onto his head?

Impossible.

"Dormammu—if you want cooperation, then we keep cooperating."

"If you don't, then get out."

Thanos spoke coldly.

Dormammu said nothing—only grew even more shadowy.

His gaze on Thanos was like he was looking at a corpse.

But after a brief mont, he still withdrew his power.

"Three days from now—wipe out Earth."

"You only need to smash the Three Sanctums, and I will naturally give you what you want."

"Don't worry about stealing your Infinity Stones."

"Other than trash like you, who in this world would rely on external objects?"

Dormammu sneered, then laughed in bitter, mocking triumph.

A flash of black light—

And Dormammu's figure vanished from Thanos's flagship.

After Dormammu left, Ebony Maw walked in.

"Great Lord Thanos… are we truly going to cooperate with Dormammu, that evil thing?"

Ebony Maw knelt on one knee as he spoke.

"Of course we are."

Thanos answered without expression.

"But, Great Thanos…"

"Dormammu is the most evil existence in this world."

"If we cooperate with him, will we end up…"

Ebony Maw hesitated.

He wasn't worried about Thanos.

He was worried about himself.

Dormammu's reputation was terrible.

Whether enemy or ally, in the end they were all swallowed by Dormammu.

If they played it wrong, what if they were devoured at the end?

"Dormammu?"

"Ridiculous."

"I will make him understand—"

"Even an ancient Dark Dinsion lord can fall."

"In this world, there are no eternally existing gods."

Thanos said coldly.

He raised a hand.

A strange golden gauntlet appeared in his palm.

And what was even more shocking—

Two gems radiating eerie light were already set into it.

"These are… Infinity Stones?"

A flicker of astonishnt crossed Ebony Maw's face.

When?

When had Thanos obtained two Infinity Stones?

He hadn't even known!

"My great master…"

"You've already gathered two Infinity Stones…"

"You are the greatest existence in this world…"

"You will beco the king of this world!"

Ebony Maw imdiately prostrated himself.

Thanos, however, only sat down again with icy calm.
