The group of people who had been watching this world all showed troubled expressions, frowning in unison. Blaine narrowed his eyes and looked more closely. These people appeared to be Odin, the Black Panther, Agamotto, Phoenix, Iron Fist, the Prehistoric Starmark, Ghost Rider, and Blaine’s Bounty Hunter.
Weren’t these the prehistoric Avengers? But why did they seem to revolve around the Bounty Hunter?
Rumble, rumble...
Just as Blaine was feeling curious, a deafening thunderclap suddenly echoed through the sky. In the next instant, the entire world darkened, as if day had abruptly turned into night. It was as though a black curtain had been drawn over the world, blinding everything in an instant.
As Blaine’s consciousness was swallowed by darkness, he waited instinctively for dawn to arrive. Suddenly, however, dizziness surged through his head. The familiar tingling pain of his soul rose again, and even his ntal power fell into chaos. It felt as if his entire being had passed through a space-ti rift once more—without activating any energy protection.
The intense pain caused Blaine to lose consciousness again. Yet this ti, Blaine himself might not have noticed that his body had collapsed onto the altar, because his ntal power was still wracked with searing pain.
For so reason, although Blaine’s ntal power was in turmoil, his consciousness was extraordinarily clear. Despite the pain, he felt as if his soul had been sublimated, carrying his body through space and ti to another place.
When Blaine opened his eyes, he was instantly stunned by what he saw.
What appeared before him was exactly the scene that had just played out in his mind. The vast grassland, the knee-high grass, the distant mountains, and the prehistoric Avengers standing nearby—especially the sky. Blaine didn’t just feel imrsed in it.
No, not imrsed.
He was here.
Blaine rubbed his eyes and looked at the mbers of the prehistoric Avengers he had never t before. Suddenly, he realized that one person was missing.
That’s right—the Bounty Hunter.
’Damn... could it be that I’ve possessed this person?’
’So this person is , and I am the prehistoric Bounty Hunter?’
’Hey! Can you hear ?’
Blaine suddenly panicked. He watched the people around him and shouted repeatedly, but this body seed completely out of his control, refusing to obey his commands. No matter how loudly Blaine shouted, none of them seed able to hear him.
’It seems only my soul has traveled through...’
’Could it be that, secretly, you want to witness all of this?’
Blaine tried every thod he could think of, but nothing worked. Although he could speak and move, it was only within the mind of the prehistoric Bounty Hunter he had possessed.
He could speak and move, but no one else could see or hear him. It was as if Blaine were an outsider—more like an observing eye attached to the Bounty Hunter, allowed only to see the scene, but not to communicate.
However, Blaine was deeply puzzled. Although he was clearly living in the twenty-first century, why did he also exist millions of years ago? Looking at this person’s face, it was obviously the sa age as his own. Everything matched.
So what exactly was going on?
"Move."
Suddenly, a cold voice rang out, instantly snapping Blaine awake.
