Don’t assu it was necessarily Agamotto’s work.
As for the remaining two, Blaine sharply noticed a streak of black lightning suddenly rush past. The instant it reached Star and Iron Fist, it kicked the Celestial’s leg—just as it was about to hit the ground—and knocked it back again.
This sudden flash of sothing was so fast that Blaine couldn’t even see it clearly.
When Blaine turned his head to look at where it had stopped, he was montarily stunned. That thing was nothing other than a black panther.
Its fur was sleek, with white spots across its body. Wasn’t this the sa one Blaine had seen on the altar?
Its speed was simply too fast. Even Blaine couldn’t catch its shadow during high-speed movent—and that was while it was hunched low. Especially Star, whose body was like a green titan’s. The fact that the panther could run alongside him at that speed was simply unbelievable.
Yet Blaine couldn’t even perceive movent at this level. Didn’t that an it exceeded the speed of light? But if that were the case, why was there no sign of space tearing apart?
This doubt had lingered in Blaine’s mind since the battle began. Logically speaking, a fight involving this level of power—capable of shaking heaven and earth—should have blown the planet apart long ago. Even incidental energy leakage should have been enough. Yet until now, the Earth remained intact. Although mountains had collapsed and the ground had shattered, it was still far from total destruction.
"Could it be that the space here has been specially reinforced as well?"
"Then who reinforced the space beneath the Wakandan vibranium teorite?"
At first, Blaine had thought the magic array beneath the vibranium teorite might have been left behind by Agamotto or the prehistoric Bounty Hunter. But now, it clearly wasn’t. He had assud that seeing these people would answer most of his questions, but it now seed there was still an even greater mystery behind the prehistoric Avengers.
"Hey... maybe the Earth in ancient tis was more resistant to getting beaten up..."
Unable to figure it out, Blaine simply asked and answered himself, finding an excuse to stop thinking about it.
...
Of course, anyone who thought about it for even a mont would know that explanation wasn’t true. The Earth should have been more fragile in its early days. Star cores had to undergo the baptism of ti to beco increasingly solid, their energy purer and purer—let alone an entire planet.
...
Suddenly, the ground trembled and the mountains shook, snapping Blaine’s attention back to the Celestial.
The mont the Celestial’s body touched the ground, for so reason, Blaine’s sense of danger intensified instead of easing. The feeling surged straight through his soul, eerily similar to the sensation he’d felt when facing Dormammu. Yet in this situation, the prehistoric Avengers clearly held the upper hand.
"Hm?"
Suddenly, the prehistoric Bounty Hunter teleported directly to Odin and Phoenix. Clearly, he had sensed this ominous feeling as well.
Blaine had just arrived near them when the world abruptly darkened again. In the night sky, only Odin’s silver lightning, Phoenix’s orange-red Phoenix Force, and the distant magical glows of Ghost Rider and Agamotto remained visible.
Poof... boom...
All of a sudden, the prehistoric Bounty Hunter spat out a mouthful of blood for no apparent reason. Blaine imdiately noticed sothing was wrong. At so point, a ray had appeared in front of him, and it was being forcibly resisted by the prehistoric Bounty Hunter.
"Let’s go..."
After speaking to Odin and Phoenix, the Bounty Hunter raised his hand and flung the ray away. With a flick of his wrist, the elental bow was retracted into the Hunter’s personal space. At the sa ti, an inexplicable force surged out from the Bounty Hunter’s wrist.
In the next mont, deep in the dark night, the distant Celestial let out a muffled cry of pain for no clear reason. Just as Blaine thought this was so unknown technique used by the prehistoric Bounty Hunter, he suddenly felt his hands grow heavy.
It was the trident.
No wonder the Celestial was in pain—having a trident ripped out of its flesh, how could it not hurt? That said, this thod, similar to how Mjolnir could be summoned back, was undeniably cool.
As the trident flew back, the soul pendant on the Bounty Hunter’s chest began to emit a milky-white glow, continuously healing his body and replenishing his spiritual power.
During the healing process, the Bounty Hunter’s gaze never left the Celestial. Night vision was probably a basic skill at this level.
Not only that, Blaine noticed countless strands of unknown energy converging toward the Bounty Hunter’s body. They gathered more and more densely, soon showing signs of stirring the very world around them.
"Is this... energy accumulation and absorption?"
"Are you about to unleash a big move?"
Feeling the increasingly dense energy in the surroundings, Blaine couldn’t help but sigh.
Still, he had no idea what kind of technique this was. He had never seen it before. Moreover, without Blaine even realizing it, the trident in the prehistoric Bounty Hunter’s hands seed to be absorbing those energies as well.
At a certain mont, the gathered energy turned violent, like boiling water.
"Die!"
With a thunderous roar from the Bounty Hunter, his body leapt high into the air. At the sa ti, the spots of condensed energy followed behind him like a blazing trail.
Gripping the trident tightly with both hands, he raised it high above his head and then slashed down with overwhelming force.
The wildly surging energy light behind him ford a crescent shape and slashed downward as well. In an instant, the brilliant energy driven by the trident split the night in two. Like a laser cleaving through darkness, the trident struck rcilessly toward the Celestial’s head.
Feeling the overwhelming power of heaven and earth, a na suddenly flashed through Blaine’s mind.
"Dragon Half-Moon Slash."
The half-moon strike landed squarely on the Celestial’s neck. Just as Blaine thought this blow might finally force the Celestial to retreat—after all, the charge ti had been quite long—it seed the trident’s energy still hadn’t been fully expended.
Roar...
That familiar dragon’s chant echoed once more. This ti, however, an actual dragon erged beneath the half-moon slash—a Frost Dragon. The mont it appeared, Blaine felt the temperature in the surrounding area plumt below freezing.
And when the dragon charged toward the Celestial first, snowflakes inexplicably began to fall from the sky.
"Fuck—damn it, damn it..."
"Flood Dragon Roar, plus Ice Sky Burial Flower!!!"
Others might not understand, but Blaine had mastered quite a number of techniques. Although the form had changed and the power was far greater, the essence remained the sa. This was the flexible application of the trident’s subsidiary skills. It wasn’t that Blaine had never thought of doing this himself—he had tried many tis, but never succeeded. Even so, he truly hoped that one day, he too could rge the two together.
