Originally, Blaine’s sudden burst of speed should have already exceeded everyone’s perception. Yet another ripple of sound suddenly spread outward with Blaine at its center, leaving them even more stunned.

As the trident thrust forward, a pure white dragon coiled around the halberd. The white specks on the trident and the streams of light emitted from the moon all converged onto this dragon, making it increasingly lifelike and increasingly saturated with energy.

More than that, Blaine clearly felt a throbbing aura emanating from this dragon. In particular, the energy it released carried a sense of eroding everything—a sealing force, a power that suppressed and corroded at the sa ti. It was described as heart-pounding, yet strangely familiar. The aura resembled the curse poison of the Cursed Blood Knife, only far stronger, with no apparent way to counter it.

Though this description seems long, everything still occurred in the blink of an eye. Even with the prehistoric Bounty Hunter’s terrifying speed and the near-limitless compression of ti as the trident stabbed forward—

The Celestial Group was still the Celestial Group. Although the sound waves unleashed by the white dragon were powerful enough to shatter a planet, within the Celestial ranks the aftereffects of those sound waves were instantly neutralized and dispersed.

Moreover, the Celestial directly in front of Blaine seed to sense that the power of this halberd was enough to tear his body apart. In desperation, he attempted to instantaneously shift his position to escape the attack range.

As a Bounty Hunter, Blaine understood one principle perfectly: when a strike is made, it must land, and when it lands, the target must die. Not to ntion that this was Blaine’s own body—his forr self. Blaine had absolute confidence in him.

Sure enough, just as the Celestial was about to move, a circle of silver light suddenly burst from Blaine’s body. Even Blaine himself didn’t know what it was.

Even the four Celestials nearby seed to be montarily paralyzed by the silver light, unable to move at all—let alone the Celestial standing directly in front of Blaine. Blaine could easily imagine the terror on that Celestial’s face beneath the armor mask.

With a flash of the white dragon, in the next second a massive hole appeared in the body of the Celestial. The dragon vanished, but countless white light specks clung to his body like necrotic growths, continuously spreading outward from the wound until they covered him entirely.

Under the suppression of these light specks, the Celestial’s body showed no sign of healing. On the contrary, it began to rot, emitting waves of foul stench. Even that stench didn’t last long, as it too was corroded away by the light. There was no need to think further—this white light was clearly so kind of poison. Its nature was similar to curse poison, capable of inhibiting self-healing and regeneration, and even sealing the body to prevent revival.

Seeing their companion fall into what was essentially a death state, the remaining mbers of the Celestial Team could no longer remain indifferent. They all grew serious at once, vigilantly guarding against any further tricks from the Bounty Hunter.

However, there was no longer any need for caution. After all of this, the Bounty Hunter had already reached the end of his strength. His body had been completely overdrawn, and combined with such an intense battle, he had long since been pushed to destruction by them.

"Cut—!"

After piercing the murderer who had killed Black Panther, the Bounty Hunter let out a furious roar. The trident raised high in his hands transford into a half-moon slash and ca crashing down once more.

By sheer coincidence, a Celestial group mber was caught head-on. This being had been wary of everything, believing that Blaine had already exhausted his strength, and so he rushed forward directly—never expecting to collide face-first with the Half-Moon Slash.

With that strike, his mountain-like body was split cleanly in two, from head to toe.

After accomplishing all this, the Bounty Hunter was completely drained. He turned his head and glanced at the corroded Celestial, of whom only an armor mask remained, then let out a long sigh of relief.

As that breath escaped, the explosive power sustaining him ebbed away instantly, like a receding tide.

Even so, the Bounty Hunter still didn’t collapse. He stood motionless where he was, calmly facing the attacks before him. Blaine knew it wasn’t that he didn’t want to escape—it was the final dignity of a Bounty Hunter.

Blaine didn’t understand why things had reached this point. Why hadn’t he hidden in the Hunter space? Was he simply waiting for death? Or was it because the Hunter System he now used was only version 1.0, and the Hunter space itself was still the most primitive version, incapable of accommodating living creatures?

In truth, what Blaine didn’t know was that prehistoric Bounty Hunters had never possessed any Hunter System at all. Everything he achieved was the result of his own hard work.

As for why the weapons and skills used by the prehistoric Bounty Hunter could all be purchased by Blaine through the Hunter System—there was, in fact, a mysterious King of Power lurking in the shadows, controlling everything behind the scenes.

It was the sa mystery as why Blaine had suddenly transmigrated here, and why he was able to witness all of this. Blaine had believed it was simply luck—that he happened to encounter these events, or that as a transmigrator he was destined to be the protagonist upon entering the Marvel universe. But that was not the truth.

Blaine still had a long road ahead of him, and an even greater conspiracy was slowly closing in. It was just that, for now, he knew nothing about it.

Puff—

A heavy impact echoed, accompanied by the sharp cracking of breaking bones. A mouthful of blood sprayed out in an instant. One could easily imagine the pain the Bounty Hunter suffered from such a blow.

The remaining Celestials seed to realize that the prehistoric Bounty Hunter was already at death’s door. One by one, they stepped forward coldly. Their massive fingers pressed down onto his body, point by point. Each press pulverized another bone into dust.

Although the physical strength of Bounty Hunters in this era could no longer be described rely as abnormal, it still depended on who they were compared against. Moreover, after overdrawing his body to this extent, Blaine knew that at this mont he was only strong on the outside—hollow within.

Before the Celestials, he was like the plastic foam toys Blaine used to play with as a child: each one looked plump, but with a single pinch, they collapsed with a crisp snap.

Yet the Celestials still weren’t satisfied. They continued to tornt the Bounty Hunter relentlessly, clearly intent on shattering every bone in his body.

Even so, he clenched his teeth and remained silent.

Blaine watched it all, his heart aching. Although he couldn’t endure or share the damage for him, at this mont, Blaine truly respected his forr self.
