The Ancient One stood in the centre of the mirror dinsion. Her hands moved in smooth circles. Orange sparks flew from her fingers. A large spell circle ford in the air in front of her. It glowed bright gold and orange. From the circle, dozens of sharp bolts of eldritch energy shot toward Kakashi.
Kakashi let his body beco intangible. The bolts passed straight through him and shattered several mirrors behind him. Glass rained down like silver snow.
Before he could move, a new mirror popped up directly behind him. The sa energy bolts reflected off it and ca back at twice the speed.
Kakashi ford a quick hand seal. A thick mud wall rose from the ground in front of him. The reflected bolts slamd into the wall. Mud exploded outward, but the wall held long enough to stop the attack. Pieces of wet earth fell to the floor.
Kakashi thought quickly. 'From our last fight and studying in Kamar Taj, I know how sorcerers battle. She uses mirrors, portals, and eldritch energy mostly. But she also knows my skills. Or at least she thinks she does. If she used the Ti Ston, she probably knows everything I can do. She is the Sorcerer Supre. She must have hidden spells she has not shown yet.'
The Ancient One smiled. Orange energy ford in her hands and shaped into two long whips. She cracked one toward Kakashi.
He phased through it. The whip passed harmlessly through his body.
But the mont he beca solid again, a second whip ca from her other hand. It wrapped around his waist and sent him flying. He crashed hard into a mirror. The glass cracked in a spider web pattern but did not break.
Kakashi groaned and pushed himself up.
'She is definitely using the Ti Stone,' he realized. 'Her reactions are too fast. The Sharingan can predict normal movent, but she is seeing seconds into the future while we fight. She is using actual precognition rather than Sharingan's supposed precognition.'
The Ancient One ford two glowing war fans in her hands. Orange energy swirled around them.
"Having trouble keeping up, Mr. Kakashi, after your bold threat?" she asked with a calm smile.
Kakashi ignored the words. Taunts were useless against him. He had heard worse from enemies far scarier.
He thought fast.
'How do you fight soone who already knows your next move?'
He already had the answer.
'Overwhelm them until there is no future they can think of where they can escape from.'
Kakashi's hands moved in a blur of seals. Five perfect lightning clones appeared around him. Each clone held a crackling Chidori in their right hand. All five Kakashis opened their Sharingan at the sa ti.
They attacked.
The five lightning-covered figures rushed the Ancient One from every direction. Blue electricity lit the mirror dinsion like a storm.
She twisted away from the first strike. The Chidori passed inches from her face.
She jumped high to avoid the second. The blade cut only air.
A third ca from the side. She ford a small orange shield and blocked it. Sparks flew where lightning t magic.
But the attacks never stopped.
The five Kakashis moved like one mind. They struck high, low, left, right. Every ti she dodged or blocked one, two more were already coming. Small sparks of lightning filled the air in every direction. The mirror dinsion flashed blue and orange.
The Ancient One's eyes widened slightly as if she had seen sothing in the future that worried her.
Kakashi's real body finished another set of hand signs. His Mangekyō spun.
"Ikazuchi no Mai: Lightning Octopus Hold."
Every spark of lightning in the air grew bigger. They stretched and ford thick tentacles. Eight massive arms of pure electricity shot toward the Ancient One. Each tentacle moved exactly where Kakashi wanted, guided by his Sharingan.
The first wrapped around her waist.
The second caught her arm.
More ca. They wrapped around her legs, her other arm, her torso. Layer after layer of lightning rope held her in place. She struggled as the lightning paralyzed her and the tentacles only tightened.
Kakashi ford one final set of seals.
"Ninja Art: Lightning Octopus Seal."
A small paper tag flew from his hand and stuck to the lightning tentacles. Black seal patterns spread across the electricity like ink in water. The patterns locked together. The lightning hardened into unbreakable chains.
'That should hold her for a few minutes,' Kakashi thought.
He prepared to think of his next move. Then the mirrors inside the lightning prison began to glow.
Hundreds of mirrors erupted from within the seal. Orange light exploded outward. The lightning chains shattered like glass. The seal broke apart in a sparks.
Kakashi jumped back in alarm.
The Ancient One stood in the centre of the broken lightning. Her hood was down for the first ti and was covering her face. Magical energy poured from her body in waves. The entire mirror dinsion shook. Reality itself seed to bend. The mirrors moved on their own, spinning and shifting around her like living things.
Kakashi knew that the fight was going to be even harder.
