Marvel: Kakashi Of The Sharingan Chapter 64 - 63:A kindred spirit?

The armored SHIELD van rumbled along the highway, part of a convoy of twelve vehicles tasked with escorting the Tesseract to the Triskelion.

Kakashi, Natasha and four other individuals were in the van. This was the van with the Tesseract. The four agents could not help but curse their luck to be stuck with the most mysterious and powerful man in the SHIELD, Agent Hound who had taken out hulk and had completed more missions than them in his short stay in SHIELD. Also the only person who could ignore Fury and read smut in front of him.

They were in the presence of such a man and then there was the sexy red head chick who could take them out pretty easily both physically and well ntally with all the moves that she was making towards Hound.

"I have hormones like any other man. And no, I'm not a virgin. It's just that I've been trained to ignore these irrelevant things." Natasha replayed Kakashi's words in her mind.

Natasha paused, her thoughts shifting as his words sank in. 'Trained to ignore such things?' Her mind flashed to the Red Room, its brutal conditioning to suppress emotions, including desire, to make her a perfect weapon.

'Did he go through sothing like that?' A flicker of sympathy stirred, tinged with pity.

'A kindred spirit, perhaps?' She studied him, searching for cracks in his composure. 'He's not broken like , but there's sothing there. Hidden pain, maybe.'

"Trained, huh?" she said softly, her teasing replaced by curiosity. 'Is he a product of so experint, like the Red Room? I can't tell Fury without proof. He doesn't show the trauma of a lab rat—or maybe he's just that good at hiding it.'

Kakashi's thoughts drifted to his ANBU days in Konoha.

'ANBU training was brutal. Sexual sessions to kill urges during missions, to stop spies from exploiting us.' He recalled the cold efficiency of those drills, designed to protect the village.

'A spy could seduce you, steal secrets, or slit your throat in your sleep. No one was exempt, no matter how much you hated it. You had to have a sexual sessions with another of the Anbu agents at least once in six months.'

In fact, he had to do so R rated missions himself. Kakashi's mind flicked to a mission from his youth, infiltrating a noblewoman's bed to gather intel.

Kakashi's mask hid face, and only so Anbu at the top knew his looks. And seeing his looks and considering no one knew what he looked like without his mask, he was sent on sexual missions to gather intel until he beca strong enough to say no to such missions.

Natasha's thoughts deepened, her instincts as a spy kicking in. 'He's a master of assassination, stealth, combat—why not a master spy, too? Hiding emotions would be child's play for him.'

She leaned back, her voice light but probing. "You're too good at ignoring , Hound. Makes wonder what else you're hiding."

'No trauma, no cracks. If he's like , he's buried it deep inside himself.'

Kakashiignored her as he focused his attention to the Tesseract's sealed case, his thoughts shifting to the mission.

He sensed its energy, 'This feels like my Kamui. Space-ti energy? And it's mot just so radiated teorite that fell from space.'

'Its power's off the charts, like a bijuu in a box.' He recalled SHIELD's files that told about about the Tesseract, 'Hydra used it to make weapons during the world war two, but nothing about space-ti.'

His mind dug deeper as he tried to feel more of the energy radiating from the Tesseract, piecing it together.

'It feels too much like Kamui. This thing could power pure space-ti jutsu, like teleportation.'

He also sensed seals. Even though, he could see them, his training in Kamar Taj has managed to highten his sense to manage to figure out what runes or seals are near him just by the feel of the energy radiating off it.

'A barrier seal, maybe, or a sealing seal. If it's the latter, the energy inside should monstrous , way beyond what I'm feeling.... I might be just feeling the energy that is seeping out of it.'

Before he could think further, Kakashi jerked his head. He could hear the voice of a chopper and a few heavy vehicles surrounding them.

'Sothing's off.' He made quick hand signs which made Natasha alert.

'Earth Style: Tremor Sense', sending chakra through the car and then to the ground to detect vibrations.

'Vehicles closing in, too many, too fast. Chopper, too.' He grabbed his walkie-talkie, his voice calm but firm. "Stop. We have company. Agent Hound, out."

Natasha's eyes snapped to him, her thoughts alert. "What's out there?" she asked, her hand on her pistol, ready to move.

Kakashi's voice was low. "Vehicles surrounding us. I hear a chopper coming."

He and Natasha exited the van, the four agents inside taking defensive positions around the Tesseract's case. The other vans stopped, agents spilling out, taking cover behind vehicles.

The convoy was surrounded by black SUVs, their occupants masked and ard, stepping out.

The chopper's roar grew louder, and Kakashi's gaze locked on a figure in its open door—a masked man in a sleeveless t-shirt, his hand pressed against the helicopter's hull. His skin shifted, taking on the tallic sheen of the chopper.

'He can change his skin colour?' Kakashi thought amused

The man leaped, landing on the road with a crash, cracking the pavent under his weight.

'Not just his skin color, it seems that he has absorbed the properties of the material that makes up the helicopter.'

He said on the comms, "We have an enhanced. Leave that one for . Do not engage with him."
