Kakashi looked at the helicopter overhead. Kakashi flicked a kunai, infusing it with chakra, and launched it at the chopper's fan.
The blade pierced true, and the helicopter spun out of control, crashing in a fiery explosion on the road.
'One less problem,' he thought,
All the attackers seed to have taken the momo and realised that he was the real threat. They turned their focus and weapons towards him.
The SHIELD agents took this as a chance to regroup.
The attackers unleashed their guns including a machine gun, hundreds of bullets raining down at Kakashi. Kakashi could also see few grenades in the mix.
'I can't dodge this many bullets, even with the Sharingan.' Kakashi thought, but his hands were already weaving signs, prepared before the gunfire began.
'Good thing I copied this from Lord Second during the Fourth War.' He slamd his hands together.
"Water Style: Water Colliding Wave!"
Water erupted around him, forming a swirling vortex with a powerful current. Bullets lost montum, sinking harmlessly, and grenades fizzled, their explosions smothered by the water.
The attackers' weapons clicked empty, their ammo spent.
Kakashi's hands parted, and he made a swooshing gesture. The vortex split, forming a massive wave that surged across the battlefield.
It crashed into the attackers, crushing their SUVs and slamming n into the road and trees. So died under the water's weight, others groaned with broken bones.
'Effective, Lord Second was truly a genius to make a water style jutsu that can be used for both defence and attack,' Kakashi thought, his eye scanning the devastation.
The tallic-skinned man was sprawled, coughing blood, his ribs likely damaged. He staggered to his feet, his eyes wide with fear as he t Kakashi's gaze.
Without a word, he turned and ran.
'Not so fast,' Kakashi thought, activating Body Flicker. He appeared before the man, his sword crackling with lightning chakra.
"Now, now… what's the rush?"
The man froze, his voice trembling as he looked at the lightning covered sword. He knew that even his tal body would not survive it.
"Please, leave … I was just paid for this job. I have nothing to do with this! I'm innocent."
Kakashi's eye narrowed, his thoughts cold. 'Innocent? Doubt it. You don't just attack a governnt van if you are innocent.'
"I'll be the judge of that," he said, locking eyes with the man. His Sharingan spun, casting a genjutsu to extract the truth from the man.
The man's eyes glazed over, his voice monotone. "My na is Carl Creel. I'm an underground boxer. I got these powers from a project. I only know the na of the the Project and that's because I overheard jt. But nothing else about it. It's called Project Destroyer of Worlds."
'Destroyer of worlds? Now that's a terrible na even Minato sensei would not approve of such a na.' Kakashi smiled wryly at that thought.
Karl continued, "I can absorb the properties of anything I touch through an experint. They called the Absorbing Man. But they didn't let go as promised. They caged , tied up, did more experints. I escaped after knocking a gold tooth from a researcher, absorbed it and used it to break out. These guys found , offered shelter. They told that they would give a place to stay and keep save from the ones that would conduct an experint on ."
Kakashi ended the genjutsu, and Creel's skin reverted to normal. With a swift chop to the neck, Kakashi knocked him out.
'He's a victim, but still a threat and a criminal. Who knows what else he would do for money?' He hoisted Creel over his shoulder, heading back to the convoy.
An agent approached, his voice eager. "Sir, should I help you?"
Kakashi's eye crinkled. "No need."
'Too eager. Suspicious.'
The agent pressed, his tone insistent. "Sir, I'm the captain of the units. Agent Ward! It's my duty to help you in any way."
Kakashi's thoughts were skeptical.
'Duty, huh?' He gave Ward an eye smile. "You sound too eager to help . Could've helped more fighting our attackers, no?"
Ward froze, his thoughts flustered. 'He's calling out.' He had no response, and Kakashi walked past, placing Creel in the van with the Tesseract.
Natasha approached, her thoughts impressed. 'He took out a chopper, stopped a wave of bullets, and crushed the attackers. He is more dangerous than I thought. He does not even have a scratch after being unloaded with hundreds of bullets and grenades. Even If I find information about him that might make him dangerous for Fury, how does Fury expect to eliminate him?'
"Nice work, Hound," she said, holstering her pistol, trying to act calm,"That water trick was sothing else."
Kakashi grunted as he checked the convoy—agents securing the area, four people with injuries. Nothing too serious just so bullets grazing them or hitting not lethal areas.
Casualities were prevented mostly by the attackers first focusing on Natasha and then on Kakashi.
He spoke into the comms, his voice light.
"Let's get a move on. Get the injured treated in the vans. I don't want Fury saying I'm lazing on my job again. Maybe I can… Does a grown man sleeping on the road count the sa as helping an old woman cross a road?"
