"Wanda!"
Gamora stared in shock as Wanda actually managed to stop the giant's descending hand. Chaos magic ford a crimson barrier several ters above the ship, forcefully blocking Ego's palm.
But cracks were rapidly spreading across the barrier. Wanda's power was clearly reaching its limit.
"Go!!"
Wanda suddenly shouted at the top of her lungs, finally snapping everyone out of their daze.
"Move! Get back on the ship now!!"
Rocket roared before rushing aboard. The others quickly followed, but Quill remained where he was, unwilling to retreat.
"Peter, get on the ship!!"
"Forget ! I'm destroying Ego no matter what!!"
Quill fired wildly at the planetary core, but the surface of the core didn't even tremble. His blasters couldn't scratch even the outer layer.
"You've lost your mind, Peter! If you keep this up, everyone's going to die!!"
Gamora practically dragged him toward the ship while Drax helped force him aboard.
At this point Tony no longer cared about hiding JARVIS.
"JARVIS! Full engine output! Get us out of here and find sowhere safe to hide!!"
Tony didn't order JARVIS to leave completely because Karl and the others were still outside. Instead, he told him to evade and find cover. The giant before them occupied nearly the entire area around the core. The ship needed distance if it wanted any chance of avoiding his attacks.
"Yes, sir."
JARVIS's voice echoed through the ship.
No one cared anymore about why the AI could suddenly pilot the vessel. Escaping alive was far more important.
The engines roared to maximum power. The sudden acceleration threw everyone backward inside the cabin as the ship shot away like a streaking shadow, racing toward the outer edges of the planet's core region before finally hiding behind a massive stone pillar resembling a gigantic nerve bundle.
"JARVIS, display visual feed from the core imdiately."
Tony was worried about Karl and the others.
anwhile, Wanda could no longer hold on.
The chaos barrier shattered instantly, and Ego's enormous palm slamd violently into the ground.
Crack—!
An ice wall suddenly erupted upward, blocking the terrifying shockwave and shielding Karl and the three girls behind him.
"Gwen, stay here with Wanda and protect Skye. Things are about to get loud."
Karl withdrew his Ultimate Weapon while speaking to them before the ice wall fully collapsed.
"Skye, go all out with your quake powers. Shatter the outer shell of the core for ."
Because Ego's planet possessed an atmosphere, vibrations could propagate normally. That also ant Skye's quake powers would function at full effectiveness here.
With her current level of mastery, destroying the planetary core wouldn't even be particularly difficult. Given enough ti, she could probably shatter the entire planet itself.
And thanks to her vibranium gauntlets and vibranium battle suit, she no longer had to fear the recoil from her own powers.
"No problem."
Skye clenched her fists.
Invisible ripples spread outward from her hands, distorting the surrounding space like waves across water.
"Then next… this becos my fight."
Karl waved his hand, and the heavily cracked ice wall exploded apart instantly.
Standing before them was the mountain-sized blue giant—Ego.
His glowing blue eyes were filled with pure indifference. To Ego, Karl and the others were nothing more than pests beneath his future dominion, no different from the creatures he had once exterminated across his own world.
Ego raised his arm once more and clenched his hand into a fist before smashing it downward toward Karl.
The enormous fist descended like a collapsing mountain, accompanied by violent air currents. Shock rings ford around the fist from its terrifying speed.
RUMBLE—!!!
The gigantic fist slamd down violently.
The resulting shockwave instantly shattered the nerve-like structures surrounding the core, while the ground platform itself split apart in every direction.
Wanda quickly raised another barrier to block the flying debris, while Gwen used her webbing to redirect massive chunks of stone or smash them together midair.
anwhile, Skye remained completely focused on the core.
Wave after wave of seismic force spread from her palms, and cracks slowly began forming across the surface of the core like fractured glass.
BOOM—!!
"Hahahahaha! Insignificant Earthling! Be crushed into dust beneath my fist!!"
Giant Ego laughed deeply, the sound itself causing the entire underground world to tremble.
But before the laughter faded—
A burst of yellow-brown energy suddenly erupted straight through Ego's fist.
A massive pillar of light shot skyward.
The explosion produced a terrifying shockwave that caught Ego completely off guard, knocking his gigantic body sideways.
Then, from within the pillar of light, a fist as enormous as Ego's own burst forth and smashed directly into his face.
BOOM!!
The sudden punch sent Ego crashing backward onto the ground, crushing countless nerve structures beneath him and shaking the entire planetary core.
The pillar of light faded.
In its place stood an enormous figure the size of a mountain itself.
Its entire body and bulging muscles were ford from solid stone. Even its jaw was covered in rock. Golden eyes radiated cold, rciless light.
It was Titan—the largest of all Karl's summoned beasts.
Titan lifted one foot and stomped directly onto Ego's chest.
The impact was like a teor striking the earth. The ground cracked apart across hundreds of ters, and Ego's entire chest caved into the terrain beneath him.
"Damn Earthling!!"
Despite his crushed chest, Ego was effectively immortal as long as the true core hidden inside the planet remained intact.
Ego grabbed Titan's leg with both hands and tried to hurl him away.
But he had vastly underestimated Titan's strength.
Among all of Karl's summons, Titan wasn't necessarily the strongest overall—
But in terms of pure physical power, Titan was unquestionably number one.
Ego intended to fling him aside, yet Titan rely staggered slightly before imdiately regaining balance.
Then Titan bent down and drove another punch directly into Ego's face.
BOOM! BOOM!! BOOM!!!
Next ca a storm of punches.
Titan's fists rained down like teors crashing from the heavens. Every strike carried the force of an entire mountain.
The surrounding terrain had long since turned into a catastrophic wasteland. The nerve-like structures nearby collapsed one after another beneath the endless shockwaves.
The entire planetary core echoed continuously with the deafening impact of Titan's fists.
Ego had already lost all ability to fight back. His arms hung limply at his sides.
But Titan still didn't stop.
Driven into a frenzy, Titan's punches only beca faster and more violent. The entire underground world trembled rhythmically with every strike like a planet-wide earthquake.
Inside the distant ship, everyone could only stare in complete shock.
They had seen Karl transform into Shiva before.
They had seen his Phoenix form as well.
But neither of those compared to the overwhelming brutality of Titan.
At this point, even Quill started wondering whether Ego had actually died long ago and Titan was now simply enjoying beating the corpse.
