Even though Kingpin believed himself to be surrounded by security, Neagley and Natasha clearly did not take it seriously at all.

What kind of "encirclent" could possibly threaten them at their level?

Against overwhelming physical superiority, even if the two won knew nothing of martial arts, their sheer strength would allow them to casually blow past any defense with a single punch. It was entirely unstoppable.

Neagley could understand Kingpin's vigilance. After all, if she put herself in his position, it would be perfectly reasonable.

Imagine quietly reflecting on life within your heavily guarded territory, only for two won to suddenly appear in front of you without a sound.

Anyone would be suspicious and on guard.

It was simply too absurd, too contrary to common sense.

Neagley reached into her pocket and pulled out a disposable phone. After unlocking it, she displayed a photograph of a delicate and beautiful Asian girl.

She held the screen up in front of Kingpin.

"Her na is Skye. Nineteen years old. A friend of mine. A few hours ago, she disappeared sowhere in Hell's Kitchen."

Neagley got straight to the point without wasting words.

"Mr. Wilson, as a friend, could you help us find her?"

She had no intention of wasting ti. Everything earlier had rely been a display of intimidation, ant to teach this underground emperor how to behave.

Kingpin fell silent.

For him, finding a girl like this was hardly difficult.

But the problem was the way they were forcing him to act. To comply under these circumstances would be a direct challenge to his authority and dominance. If word spread, he would beco a laughingstock.

"A girl..." Bullseye was Kingpin's most loyal hound. Imdiately reading the situation, he spoke up with a sinister grin, intending to say sothing.

But before he could finish, Natasha's figure suddenly blurred and vanished from her spot.

Whoosh!!

She moved so quickly that aside from Neagley, none of the three people present could follow her movents.

Bullseye's eyelids twitched violently as danger exploded through his body, but his reaction speed simply wasn't enough.

A terrifying force suddenly seized his throat, and his vision blurred.

Bang!!

The sound of shattering concrete exploded through the office as Natasha carried him across more than ten ters in an instant and smashed him against the wall beside the office doors, lifting him off the ground with one hand.

The wall cracked inward from the impact, forming a shallow crater. Nearby paintings rattled violently before crashing to the floor.

The sudden commotion alard the guards outside.

Thinking sothing had happened to Fisk, they imdiately burst through the doors with guns raised, preparing to fire at Neagley—

Only for Neagley to casually hop down from the desk and swing one long leg upward.

Boom!!

The kick compressed the air itself, producing a sharp blue slash that tore forward through the office.

The attack was not particularly large, but it sliced through the air and floor at astonishing speed, splitting the expensive carpet beneath it cleanly in half.

The slash passed precisely through the crowd of guards without touching them, brushing past their bodies before continuing down the hallway behind them. The walls along the corridor were instantly carved open with massive vertical cuts several ters long.

Countless strands of hair fluttered down through the air.

Every security guard froze on the spot, not daring to move even a single inch.

Cold sweat stread down their foreheads.

Stiffly, they turned their heads little by little to stare at the walls behind them that had been sliced open.

Then they swallowed hard. The fear of death engulfed them instantly.

Just a little closer. If the attack had deviated even slightly, they would have ended up exactly like those walls—cleanly cut in half.

The power displayed by Neagley and Natasha shocked not only the guards, but even Kingpin and Mary.

The madness in Mary's eyes vanished almost imdiately, replaced by rare clarity.

"Boys, relax." Neagley lowered her leg, raising one eyebrow slightly as her tone remained lazy and casual.

How was this even possible? Mutant abilities? No… that didn't seem right.

Shock filled Kingpin's face, but his mind continued racing at high speed. As one of the world's greatest combat experts, his eyesight far surpassed everyone present aside from Neagley and Natasha themselves.

To most people, Neagley's kick could only be explained as so kind of mutant ability.

But Kingpin saw far more than that.

What caught his attention was the speed behind the kick.

It had been so fast that even he had only seen an afterimage.

And with just a little analysis, one terrifying conclusion beca obvious: for a body to support that kind of speed, it would need overwhelming physical strength.

Power, explosiveness, stamina, speed—every aspect had to be perfectly balanced to achieve sothing like that.

At the very least, Kingpin knew he absolutely could not do it.

Not even close.

The woman's physical capabilities far surpassed his own. To a completely unreasonable degree.

That single kick had not only intimidated the guards, it had also instantly sobered Kingpin up. At that mont, only one thought remained in his mind.

These people were untouchable.

And so, Kingpin made what was perhaps the wisest decision of his life.

"Get the hell out! Who authorized you to co in?" Kingpin barked at his subordinates.

The guards looked as though they had been granted a royal pardon. Without the slightest hesitation, they imdiately retreated the sa way they had entered, thoughtfully closing the office doors behind them as they left.

Once the guards were gone, silence once again returned to the office.

Kingpin then shifted his gaze toward Natasha, who still had Bullseye pinned against the wall by his throat. Noting that Bullseye's eyes were already beginning to roll back, he quickly spoke up, "Miss Natasha, I'll mobilize my n imdiately to search for the girl. Please spare this poor fellow. He's about to suffocate."

"OK~"

Natasha casually released her grip.

Bullseye slid down the wall and collapsed onto the floor, leaning against it as his chest rose and fell violently. He gasped desperately for air while coughing uncontrollably.

He had truly been one step away from eting God.

Just monts ago, mories from his entire life had already begun flashing through his mind. Fortunately, the boss had spoken quickly enough.

Kingpin was a ruthless tycoon, Mary was a lunatic, and Bullseye's level of lunacy was not inferior to hers; he did not fear death. Not only was he unafraid, but he often employed self-destructive combat styles that favored mutual annihilation. However, he feared failure, boredom, insignificance, and a aningless death.

This current situation was exactly that. He craved a worthy opponent, not an asymtrical slaughter where he was rely abused.

Bullseye knew his limits.

He could not afford to provoke this impossibly beautiful woman. He still had an annoying adversary he wanted to eliminate; having finally found an entertaining opponent, he couldn't afford to die like this.

And so, Bullseye kept himself in check.

Once everyone beca reasonable, many things suddenly beca easy to negotiate.

For example, Neagley's request.

Kingpin decisively accepted the disposable phone Neagley handed over, then imdiately passed it to Bullseye. He ordered him to distribute Skye's photo, along with all relevant information Neagley provided—the repair shop where she had last disappeared, her recent movents, everything.

Every available subordinate was mobilized to search for her.

On top of that, Kingpin even offered a reward of five hundred thousand dollars.

Anyone providing useful information would receive one hundred thousand.

Whoever found the girl would receive the full five hundred thousand.

In Arica in 2007—especially in a place like Hell's Kitchen—that was no small amount of money.

At the very least, it was enough to thoroughly motivate the people under his command.

Once everything had been arranged, Kingpin personally escorted Neagley and Natasha out of the building with complete politeness.

Outside the tower, he watched as the two won boarded an inconspicuous car and disappeared into the distance.

Only then did Kingpin finally let out a long breath of relief.

Mary stood beside him.

"Boss, those won are seriously strong… and really interesting." Mary licked the corner of her lips as that sick, twisted expression once again appeared on her face.

Kingpin glanced at her speechlessly.

Kingpin glanced at her speechlessly. When those two won were right here just now, why didn't you say anything? Did you just not like speaking up then?
