Matthew also received the news.

Although it was already deep into the night, soone at his level no longer depended heavily on sleep.

If necessary, he only needed about three hours of deep sleep to completely recover his energy. Even staying awake for several days and nights would barely affect his ntal state.

Still, sleep allowed the mind to truly rest. Waking up afterward simply put him in a better mood and maintained a more vigorous state of mind.

Not only him, but the soldiers of both warbands were the sa.

The truly insane ones were the scientists in the technology departnt led by Milson. Every one of them competed crazily when it ca to learning and research. Most of them only slept two hours a day, and staying awake for two or three days straight was completely normal to them.

"A vampire family? Skye?"

After receiving the information from Neagley, Matthew found himself montarily speechless.

The existence of vampires itself didn't surprise him much.

After all, this was Marvel. Blade existed here—the famous Daywalker with a half-human, half-vampire constitution. Matthew had expected vampire factions to appear eventually.

What truly caught him off guard was Skye.

Nineteen years old. Orphan. Exceptionally gifted hacker with extraordinary talent.

And more importantly, Neagley had managed to pull Skye's classified records directly from S.H.I.E.L.D.'s core database.

Real na: Daisy Johnson.

Classified as 0-8-4 as an infant and labeled an unknown dangerous target.

Father: Calvin Zabo.

Mother: Jiaying.

With all of this information combined, Matthew finally confird it completely.

The girl Neagley knew as Skye was none other than the future "World Destroyer" herself—Quake.

The female Whitebeard of this world.

A terrifying Asian superhuman heroine with vibration abilities powerful enough to supposedly shatter the planet itself.

And, well…

She was also very beautiful and had an excellent figure.

Skipping past that part, what really puzzled Matthew was the tiline.

At this point, Quake should still be wandering around the country in an RV, obsessively searching the internet for so-called truths and conspiracy theories.

Which honestly wasn't unusual in Arica.

Mainly because Arica itself constantly gave people reasons to doubt it.

But the problem was—

Why had she beco involved with vampires?

And this Deacon Frost… wasn't he supposed to have turned Blade's biological mother into his vampire slave?

Tsk, what a ss.

Still, Matthew ultimately didn't care too much.

His very existence had already pushed the Marvel universe completely off its original track. At this point, no matter how strange things beca, it wouldn't be surprising anymore.

Even the Ancient One, who possessed the Ti Stone, had largely stopped using it to observe the future.

Because there was simply too much to see.

Every second produced millions upon millions of possible futures.

And those possibilities multiplied exponentially.

Compared to that, a small incident like this was nothing.

"Boss, let go with Bucky and Roscoe." Reacher had also received the report and quickly ca to Matthew to request permission.

Neagley was his friend, and under normal circumstances he trusted both her and Natasha completely.

But now that vampires were involved, caution was necessary.

Especially since vampire forces appeared to be extrely vast. There was a real possibility of complications arising.

Beneath Reacher's massive, muscular fra was an extrely steady personality. He disliked unexpected variables.

"Go ahead." Matthew casually opened a portal for the three of them, saving them the trouble of flying there by plane.

After opening the portal, he lay down like a salted fish within his luxurious suite at the base, slowly reading a book.

Indeed, he was reading up on electromagnetic knowledge.

The Rumble-Rumble Fruit possessed trendous developnt potential. Combined with scientific knowledge, once properly developed, it could greatly increase his strength.

As for Neagley's side of things—

He believed there probably wouldn't be any major problems.

They were only a bunch of vampires.

Compared to ordinary humans, they were certainly powerful, but when placed beside his Astartes and Raven Warbands, the gap was enormous.

If a conflict really broke out, Matthew would not even need to personally intervene.

As long as the two Warbands were equipped with weapons specifically designed to counter vampires, they could wipe out those so-called vampire families in an extrely short amount of ti.

Thinking about it carefully, if he ever ran short on money in the future, these wealthy vampire families could also beco a useful source of inco.

Though realistically, that possibility was very small.

He already possessed far too many industries.

Just the assets gradually being transferred over from Pierce and Hydra were already enough, not to ntion Dreykov's wealth as well.

And wealth generated through industry was never static.

Every second, it continued to grow.

As ti passed, that wealth would only expand faster and faster.

People always talked about how rich Tony Stark was, but Matthew's current wealth had long surpassed Stark's by a massive margin.

...

anwhile, in Midtown Manhattan, New York—

The moonlight of the late night poured down over Edgewood Tower, a luxurious mixed-use residential and comrcial skyscraper.

At this hour, the building should have been silent and empty.

But in reality, it was anything but quiet.

Or more accurately, the very top floor was lively beyond imagination.

The penthouse was an extravagantly luxurious modern apartnt filled with every imaginable high-end facility, including a massive swimming pool.

Dozens of n and won wearing nothing but shorts or swimsuits lounged around the pool or embraced one another intimately. Each held a wine glass filled with crimson liquid, occasionally taking elegant sips as pleasure and intoxication filled their expressions.

Fresh traces of blood stained the corners of their lips.

The entire atmosphere was soaked in decadence and filth.

The deafening music only made the scene even more chaotic and indulgent.

But from the sharp fangs that occasionally appeared when they smiled, it was obvious these people were not human.

They were vampires.

Creatures that feared sunlight lived on a schedule completely opposite to ordinary people.

The dead of night, when humans should be asleep, was instead their peak hour of activity.

However, none of the vampires indulging themselves in blood and pleasure noticed that two grim reapers had already arrived beneath the tower.

Two extraordinarily beautiful grim reapers.

A Ford sedan carrying fake license plates slowly stopped by the roadside. As the doors opened, Neagley and Natasha stepped out, both wearing crimson trench coats as they raised their heads to look toward the top floor of the skyscraper.

Even from outside, they could clearly hear the explosive music along with the kinds of sounds that would make children blush.

"I hope they stay this cheerful in a mont," Neagley stretched lazily.

Two Beretta 92FS pistols hung from her waist.

Natasha was similarly ard, though the weapons at her hips were a pair of Desert Eagles.

Back in the past, Natasha had been more accustod to using the Glock 26—the compact pistol often nicknad the "Baby Glock."

Small size. Short grip. Ten-round magazine.

Perfect for small hands and easy to conceal inside a thigh holster.

She had grown used to it because it was practical for missions, not because she particularly liked it.

As long as it was effective and easy to hide, that was enough.

But now, firearms held far less importance for Natasha.

At her current level, her combat capability had already surpassed human limits. Conventional firearms were practically outdated weapons to her.

Still, if given a choice, Natasha preferred bigger guns.

Like the Desert Eagle.

So whenever the situation allowed it, she never hesitated to choose them.

Aside from the firearms, Neagley bent down and pulled two cross swords from behind the driver's seat. She tossed one toward Natasha, then casually pressed the other against her back.

Strangely, there were no visible straps or hooks securing the weapon.

Yet the sword remained firmly attached to the back of her coat as though so invisible magnetic force were holding it in place.

Natasha's weapon was the sa.

The two won walked to the entrance of the tower and looked up toward the top floor.

The night breeze stirred their hair slightly as they exchanged a smile.

Then both of them bent their knees slightly.

The next instant—

BOOM!!

The ground beneath them cracked and caved inward slightly.
