Now reading: Chapter 364 364: A Deal With the Green from Marvel: The Devourer, a Action novel by Alex002.

Bruce was silent for a mont, then said with an inexplicable tone, "Then, what if I go back to the point in ti when Barry Allen changed the past, and restore everything to its proper course?"

Barry Allen sacrificed countless universes to save his mother. Then he just walked away, without any psychological burden.

What's even more infuriating is that in the end, he still held onto a sliver of hope and changed the past.

What good is such a teammate?

Then why couldn't he sacrifice one person to save multiple universes?

This would go against his principles and killing an innocent ordinary person would be too sinful.

But…

Barry Allen's mother might be innocent, but Barry Allen truly isn't!

Bruce was troubled, conflicted, and in pain. If he did this, what difference would there be between him and other dark criminals?

Criminals destroy order for their own selfish reasons, while he would trample on the law for the sake of the world.

But if sacrificing him could bring peace to the entire world, he would be willing to do it, even if it ant giving up his life.

"Bruce, the answer to this question... Your future self decades from now has already given it to you."

Aaron looked at Bruce and calmly said, "Doing this would at most only create another tiline branch, and the world you are in, or at least another universe, would still follow its original path."

Bruce's face was twisted in a grimace. He was far from having the unshakeable composure of the older Bruce, who could face a collapsing mountain without changing his expression.

He would suffer and be tornted by his inability to do anything in the face of a desperate future.

A dark future is not terrifying, but what is despairing is knowing all of this decades in advance, yet racking your brains and still being unable to change the outco.

That kind of powerlessness and despair is enough to drive anyone mad.

Even worse, so might give up and destroy their own world first.

"Barry Allen!" Bruce roared like a beast.

This was the first ti he had rembered that na so profoundly. Even though he had never t the person, he could never forget it.

Even if he died now, he would still shout it with a decaying voice.

"Is there really no way?"

Countless thoughts flashed through Bruce's mind, most of them mad and dark.

His face changed constantly with these dark thoughts, just like the Joker.

His current ntal state was quite worrying. If things went wrong, he could beco the first Joker.

Finally, he seed to think of sothing and said, "No, you must have a way. Otherwise, she wouldn't have co to you."

He looked at Pala, his grim face scaring her so much that she instinctively hid behind Aaron.

Pala was just an ordinary college student, where had she ever seen such a scene?

Aaron said, "There are countless universes in this world, and countless universes are destroyed or born every mont. I don't want to manage them, and I can't manage them all."

"So I originally didn't want to interfere with the future of this world."

Bruce's face first darkened, then brightened upon hearing this.

Aaron grabbed Pala's wrist and pulled her out. "But who made 'you' appear and give a pretty good gift?"

Bruce didn't understand, and Pala herself was quite puzzled.

The Green of this world gathered all its power and consciousness, using Pala as its spokesperson, to co before Aaron.

This was a transaction.

The Green ca instinctively, allowing Aaron to gain its power earlier.

Therefore, Aaron didn't mind making a move once.

Zod's arrival, for Keaton Batman, Supergirl, and the two Flash, was an inevitable deadly outco that could not be reversed, no matter how many tis it was changed. But for him, it was rely a trivial matter of a thought.

"First, we need to ensure that no more victims appear."

Aaron raised his index finger and pointed it at the distant sky.

His index finger was vaguely dark, yet it produced invisible ripples that spread in circles throughout the entire universe.

"I have already imprisoned the ti of this world. No one can create other ti branches on this tiline except for ."

This is the power of the Temporal Loom combined with ti itself. Although it cannot compare to the mighty power of the Primordial Furnace, nor is it as stable as the Ti Anchor, it can effectively prevent the ergence of ti branches.

If the Ti Gods existing in the omniverse don't interfere, the tiline of this world will remain constant from now on. Of course, this world is so tiny that such a great god wouldn't even spare it a glance.

Bruce was secretly alard. He really wanted to question Aaron's words, but looking at Aaron's confident expression, he strangely chose to believe him.

Unless he could develop ti technology in these decades to verify the facts.

But clearly, the Batman of this world, though intelligent, did not possess the wisdom to develop ti technology.

Not everyone is Reed Richards or Kang.

At this mont, Bruce realized Aaron's power. He and the other party, both Earthlings, seed to exist on different dinsions.

Just as ants and humans live in the sa world, yet ants struggle to sense the existence of humans.

Aaron continued, "Then, you need to kill Zod and his minions, which is the power to seal the deal."

Bruce clearly had a contingency plan in mind. "I'll go find Kara now. As long as she receives sunlight at the precise ti, then decades from now, she'll be able to kill Zod."

"I will search for the so-called Kryptonite as a second contingency."

"Hmm, I can also pre-bury explosives at the site of Zod's spaceship landing. I'll find a way to get a few tens of millions of tons of nuclear bombs."

With the biggest problem solved, Bruce ca up with several effective solutions in a matter of seconds.

If one plan failed, there were multiple backups.

He didn't seek to kill the enemy with one blow, but as long as one of them succeeded, that would be victory.

Decades of ti were enough to set up hundreds of killing moves.

Aaron was noncommittal about this, rely nodding faintly. "I will take Kara and Pala with . The spaceship can be yours. As for the rest... good luck."

Bruce was sowhat regretful that Aaron would take Kara and Pala, as they were excellent combatants. After all, he heard from the idiot that in another universe, Superman killed Zod and saved the world.

It was a pity this couldn't be repeated.

But it didn't matter, he alone was enough.

It was good that Aaron took them away. Earth didn't need protection from people from other universes or other planets.

A storm of thoughts flashed through Bruce's mind. When he ca back to his senses, Aaron and Pala were gone.

The surrounding crowd was still watching, but he could no longer hear any discussions about Aaron, as if he had been the only one lost in thought all along, and no one else had ever existed.

Bruce was in a daze for a while, finding it difficult to distinguish between reality and illusion.

He looked up at the sky.

How wonderful would it be if all of this were fake?

But then, Bruce saw a star streaking across the sky.

It was a normal teor, but Bruce had a thought.

That was Kara!

Everything was real?!

Their world exchanged Pala and Kara as compensation for Aaron's exceptional intervention.

It seed it was ti to start preparing.

Aaron and Bruce's conversation was quite concise and swift.

Pala, as one of the main participants, was utterly bewildered by the transaction process.

She didn't understand the changes in her body, nor did she know what the future crisis was.

Kara, Kryptonite, Zod—she knew none of it.

She only understood 'nuclear bomb'.

Although the United States advocated for happy education for the majority and elite education for a small minority, Pala knew the terror of a ten-gaton nuclear bomb.

Pala's face was pale. "Is that guy trying to destroy the world? A ten-gaton nuclear bomb... all of Gotham will be finished."

Aaron smiled and shook his head. "He's not destroying the world, he's protecting it."

"If destroying Gotham can kill Zod, then all sacrifices are worth it."

Pala was quite shocked. She couldn't understand what Zod had done to warrant such a grand-scale operation against him.

After thinking for a mont, Pala realized. "Just now, you said you were going to take ? Where are we going?"

Pala didn't object to Aaron taking her away, handso n always had privileges.

However, Aaron seed a bit mysterious and formidable.

"We're going to find your new sister."

Aaron looked up at Kara, who was rapidly descending.

Everything was as he had foreseen: Kara's spaceship, while passing Earth, collided with a stray teorite. Due to damage to its propulsion system, it was forced to deviate from its intended orbit and land in the Siberian region of Earth.

He was now at the landing site of the spaceship.

About ten minutes later.

Pala had already seen the teor fall.

She hesitated. "If I'm not mistaken, it seems to be getting bigger and bigger?"

"Oh no, it's coming straight for us."

Pala wanted to pull Aaron and run, but Aaron remained motionless.

"No rush."

Aaron motioned for her to relax, then raised his hand to dissipate the flas around the spaceship. His powerful Telekinesis allowed the spaceship to land smoothly.

Pala watched all of this in astonishnt.

And then, Aaron, as if returning to his own ho, easily hacked into the spaceship's system, opened the hatch, and entered.

However, upon entering the spaceship, Aaron and Pala fell silent simultaneously.

The two stared blankly at the infant incubator in the ergency escape pod.

In the incubator, a baby girl less than a year old gazed at them with wide, curious eyes.

Pala was silent. "This is Kara? My new sister?"

Aaron's lips twitched. "If nothing goes wrong, she is Kara as a baby."

He rembered, in The Flash's universe, Kara was also young. Without exposure to the sun, she wouldn't have had anti-aging abilities.

Thinking about it, she must have been a baby when she first arrived on Earth.

"Never mind, let's take her."

Aaron glanced at the generously endowed Pala. "You take her out. She's in your care."

"Huh? ?!"

Pala was stunned, she was still just a college student. She hadn't even had a boyfriend, how could she take care of a baby?

"I believe in you. You're a natural mother." Aaron said aningfully.

Huh? Becoming a mother without getting married? Seriously?

Pala was bewildered. Noticing Aaron's gaze, she looked down at her feet, the mountains were steep and awe-inspiring.

Her young self was bearing a weight she shouldn't have to bear.

But without a doubt, Aaron was right. Pala was a natural nurturer, with super big breasts.

After a long hesitation, considering the gap between herself and Aaron, and then Kara's pure and innocent gaze, Pala bent down and brought her out.

Pala comnted with a hint of exasperation, "From sisters to mother and daughter, does it have to be this absurd?"

Aaron's smile beca even more enigmatic. "Isn't that even better?"

Huh?!

Pala was speechless.

Perhaps due to the affinity of The Green, Kara did not reject Pala.

However, compared to Pala, who exuded the aura of a mother earth, Kara preferred to look at Aaron.

No other reason, he was just handso.

Killing all ages, it was a conceptual ability.

Aaron smiled at Kara, and the latter also smiled.

"Let's go."

"Where are we going?" Pala, holding Kara, was sowhat lost and helpless.

"To the future, decades from now."

Aaron opened a door, then closed it.

The two adults and one child arrived in the world decades later.

At this ti, Pala learned of the deal Aaron and Bruce had struck.

At the sa ti, she also learned the source of her powers.

Sensing the faint despair and fear emanating from the plants beneath her feet, Pala couldn't help but be affected, worrying, "Can Bruce really solve the problem?"

"Who knows?"

Aaron didn't give a specific answer, casually picked up Kara, and made little Kara giggle.

At the sa ti, he also acquired Kara's abilities.

[Infinite Evolution: You possess the potential for infinite evolution, capable of absorbing any energy to stimulate and strengthen cells, and deriving nurous abilities. Moreover, after death, you can evolve adaptive abilities, becoming even more powerful.]

This was a powerful ability evolved by integrating countless powerful physiques such as the Celestial Body, the Nine Realms' Divine Bodies, Survival of the Fittest, Primus and Unicron's power.

Aaron could sense that Infinite Evolution not only evolved his physical quality and status but also comprehensively evolved all of his abilities. This ant that even the weakest ability in his hands could evolve into a supre ability.

Although strengthening all the powers Aaron had obtained would require an unimaginable amount of energy, for Aaron, the one thing he had in abundance was energy.

He could sense that the mont this ability was born, his body beca even hungrier, and his energy absorption rate increased severalfold.

Every one of his abilities was rapidly improving. His already powerful abilities weren't obviously stronger, but those weak and unintegrated abilities developed into at least planetary-level powers within a few seconds.

Perhaps in the near future, every one of his abilities would possess Multiverse-level power.

What's an all-rounder? This is it!

Aaron liked Kara even more, the Kryptonian bloodline really was a pleasant surprise.

In addition, Aaron also obtained the Growth Codex located within Kara.

He possessed the genetic data of all Kryptonians. If he wished, he could revive all the destroyed Kryptonians at any ti.

However, he didn't do so imdiately. He'd wait until Kara was a bit older.
