After all the back and forth between the Russian and South Korean governnts, the dispute beca a hot topic in countries worldwide. The keyboard warriors who had previously criticized Russia, saying they only cared about money and lacked a strategic mind, went silent after seeing the latest news.

It was clear to everyone that the South Koreans had been outsmarted and were now acting out in desperation, trying to save face in an economic war with Russia.

On the other hand, if South Korea had bought a fully functional nuclear submarine, they would have definitely inspected it. But since they bought these two submarines under the pretext of environntal aid, they couldn't thoroughly inspect them during the transaction, as that would contradict their excuse.

"Poor South Koreans, they're so clever they outsmarted themselves! They got subtly scamd by Russia, and they only have themselves to bla," so Chinese internet users angrily comnted.

"Hahahaha, the news is hilarious! Now we don't have to worry about South Korea stealing nuclear submarine technology! Well done, Russia!"

"Is South Korea just going to turn on them? A while ago, they said they were helping Russia solve their environntal issues. Now that the key nuclear submarine technology has been removed, they're saying they were scamd? Does the whole world have to cater to them?"

Many internet users understood the situation and praised Russia for its excellent handling of the matter.

Furious, the South Korean governnt responded to the Russian Foreign Ministry's tough stance by imposing retaliatory tariffs on imported Russian goods and expelling three Russian diplomats from South Korea.

Russia imdiately retaliated, adding a 25% tariff on South Korean goods and expelling five South Korean diplomats.

The conflict between the two countries escalated. The South Koreans even brought up old grievances, claiming that the Soviet Union had shot down two of their civilian airliners and still hadn't paid compensation or apologized, so Russia was now responsible.

The escalating conflict between Russia and South Korea was, at its core, partly caused by Mavi. If he hadn't scamd South Korea out of $8 billion in two separate transactions, the South Koreans would not have turned on Russia so aggressively.

However, in both deals, the South Koreans were the ones who had initiated the trouble. In the case of the Ulyanovsk nuclear-powered aircraft carrier, they had acted on the EU's instructions to maliciously compete with Russia. And with the nuclear submarines, their own ambition to take advantage of Russia was to bla.

Five days later, Mavi was at ho catching up on current events when he received a call from the president of his energy company. "Chairman Mavi, there's sothing I need to report... Our two oil tankers were intercepted on the open sea by the South Korean navy! They claid we had violated their waters and have now seized both the ships and the crew!"

What goes around cos around. The trouble had circled back to Mavi, all because of his own actions.

"How many of our employees are on board?" Mavi imdiately sat up and asked over the phone.

"There are 56 crew mbers and 4,180 tons of oil, Chairman Mavi!" The two tankers were ambushed and seized by the South Korean fleet while passing through waters near their country.

The South Koreans were at a disadvantage in the economic war. When they expelled Russian diplomats, Russia retaliated in kind. So they resorted to a more malicious tactic, sending their fleet to intercept several Russian cargo and fishing vessels, including two of Ma V Group's large oil tankers.

"I understand. I'll handle this," Mavi said. He now truly understood the phrase "trouble cos knocking when you're sitting at ho." Russia's two neighboring countries, South Korea and Japan, always seed to be stirring up trouble with their neighbors.

After ending the call with his subordinate, Mavi imdiately dialed the Russian Minister of Defense. "Hello, Minister, it's Mavi. There's a matter that I'm afraid I need your help with... Two of my company's oil tankers were seized by the South Korean navy today..."

A soldier is prepared for a thousand days to be used for an hour. Only when faced with a real problem could Mavi's previous investnts and strategies truly show their value.

"Mavi, don't worry, we have already assigned people to handle this. We have also inford the President, and I believe there will be action against South Korea very soon," the Russian Minister of Defense said, reassuring Mavi over the phone.

The South Koreans were truly a bunch of hotheads. It hadn't even been a year since Russia had dealt with the Japanese Mariti Self-Defense Force, and now they were provoking them again. They were practically begging the great Russian Empire to take action.

News of the Russian cargo and fishing vessels being seized by the South Korean navy quickly reached the Kremlin. The Russian President was furious and imdiately demanded that the South Korean governnt release the unjustly detained Russian citizens and ships.

"The South Korean governnt's barbaric behavior is outrageous. The Russian governnt is now issuing a final ultimatum to South Korea. If the detained Russian citizens and ships are not returned to our country imdiately, Russia will take special asures against South Korea!" the Russian President announced to the press.

This ti, the conflict between the two countries went straight to a direct confrontation without diplomatic negotiations, as the South Koreans had already expelled the Russian diplomats. They had nothing to discuss and would simply have a head-to-head battle to see who would back down first. Russia, for its part, would see it through to the end.

As good as their word, after issuing the ultimatum to South Korea, Russia imdiately deployed two Sovrenny-class destroyers, six Grisha-class frigates, and one Oscar-class missile nuclear submarine near South Korean waters as a deterrent.

At the sa ti, the Russian military also took a page from their playbook, arresting "suspicious" South Koreans within Russia's borders and seizing South Korean fishing boats and cargo ships attempting to violate Russian waters. However, because the South Koreans had been on guard, not many people were caught, far fewer than what they had seized.

The situation between the two countries was incredibly tense. But then, South Korea suddenly announced that they would hold a joint military exercise with the French Navy's Pacific Fleet and Far East Fleet in the Far East seas a week later.

The purpose was obvious: to put pressure on Russia and show that South Korea was not afraid. This explained why they had been so bold—they had France's support.

Speaking of the French Navy, its strength was not to be underestimated...
