The evening breeze in Queens carried a distinct chill between the concrete buildings.

Tony piloted the MK5 armor and took Peter on a full-speed loop around the New York skyline. They flew from Queens to Manhattan, past the Brooklyn Bridge, and over the Empire State Building.

Peter shouted with pure excitent the entire flight, sounding like a child on his first roller coaster as the city lights streaked below.

It was only when Peter's phone rang— an urgent call from Aunt May demanding he co ho for dinner—that Tony laughed and steered the armor into a smooth vertical landing in a dark alley near the Parker residence.

"Alright, Spider-Boy. You're ho." Tony flipped open his faceplate and raised an amused eyebrow. "Rember: don't go telling people you flew in Iron Man's armor. The reporters will camp on your aunt's doorstep by morning."

"I promise! I won't say a word!" Peter nodded vigorously, eyes shining. "Thank you so much, Mr. Stark! This was the coolest day of my life!"

Tony smiled. He was about to reply when J.A.R.V.I.S. spoke through his earpiece, still carrying that rare note of algorithmic confusion.

"Sir. The deep digital search on Miss Mira Vale has breached S.H.I.E.L.D.'s outer encrypted firewall. I have retrieved the relevant classified files."

Tony's smile faded slightly. He jerked his chin at Peter. "Get inside before your aunt starts worrying. If anything cos up, contact through Stark Industries email."

The faceplate snapped shut. The repulsors flared, and the armor shot into the night sky.

Peter stood in the alley for a mont, watching the armor disappear. He jumped excitedly a few tis, clenched his fist, and jogged ho humming a cheerful tune.

On the other side of the city, Tony landed beside the black Rolls-Royce still parked near Columbia University. Pepper was waiting inside. When she saw him return, she breathed a heavy sigh of relief, then glared at him.

"Tony Stark! Can you please not be so impulsive next ti? What if sothing had happened?!"

"Relax, Potts. Your handso boss is as tough as nails."

Tony slid into the back seat, deactivated the armor, and tossed the briefcase aside. His tone turned serious as he spoke to J.A.R.V.I.S.

"Tell what S.H.I.E.L.D. has on that girl."

"Sir, there are 127 classified surveillance files on Miss Mira Vale. Monitoring began ten days before the Harlem incident and intensified afterward. It remains active."

J.A.R.V.I.S. projected the files onto the car's screen.

The records were exhaustive: movent tracking, cyber analysis, daily routines, school life, apartnt activity, interactions with Dr. Connors, supermarket visits, even the duration of her video ga sessions. Every detail—when she left for school, how long she stayed inside, what flavor of milk she bought—was recorded with terrifying precision.

Tony's frown deepened as he reviewed the files. "Fury targeted her even before I did?"

"Yes, Sir. S.H.I.E.L.D. has her under Level 3 surveillance—second only to high-priority threats."

J.A.R.V.I.S. continued, "However, the final conclusion in all 127 files is the sa: no abnormal behavior detected. No connection to the silver-haired 'You-Know-Who' entity, and no high-risk cyber operations."

Tony sneered. "No anomalies? That's the biggest anomaly of all."

He narrowed his eyes. "A sixteen-year-old high school student under 24/7 S.H.I.E.L.D. surveillance who never slips up once? That's even more suspicious than her writing that neural algorithm."

He knew S.H.I.E.L.D.'s thods too well. If Fury was watching soone this closely, maintaining a perfect "ordinary student" facade was nearly impossible unless her counter-surveillance skills were exceptional.

"Keep investigating, J.A.R.V.I.S.," Tony said firmly. "Breach their core firewall. Pull every file they have on her. And keep a close eye on the Columbia lab and her prosthetic project with Dr. Connors. I want to know her every move."

"Understood, Sir."

Pepper sighed beside him but said nothing. She knew better than to try stopping Tony once his curiosity was ignited.

The Rolls-Royce rged into the New York night traffic and headed toward Long Island.

anwhile, in a quiet café near Columbia University, warm yellow light pushed back the evening chill.

Phil Coulson sat by the large window with a barely touched cup of cold coffee. Across from him, Natasha Romanoff sipped ice water, her striking red hair tied back and her expression calm and professional.

"So, Coulson," Natasha spoke first, voice cool. "You didn't find just for coffee. What new orders does Fury have? Or has Tony Stark caused more trouble?"

"A bit of both." Coulson smiled politely. "You already know about the armored truck robbery in Queens. Tony intervened and ran into that Spider-Man kid we've been watching. They stopped the robbers together and disard a ton of ammonium nitrate explosives."

Natasha raised an eyebrow. "The hyperactive one in the cheap red-and-blue suit. He's been busy in Queens lately—stopping muggers, helping the NYPD. Good-hearted kid, just a little too energetic. His powers are likely a genetic mutation. No malicious intent, no civilian casualties."

"The Director wants us to continue monitoring him discreetly," Coulson said. "He made direct contact with Tony. Fury thinks he could be a candidate for the Avengers Initiative."

Natasha smirked. "Fury is still obsessed with his superhero team? Stark, an untrained teenager who can't hide his identity, and Banner—the walking ti bomb. You really think putting them together won't just create a bigger disaster?"

Coulson remained calm but firm. "The Director believes future threats are beyond what conventional forces can handle. We need enhanced individuals."

Natasha didn't argue. She tapped the table lightly and shifted the topic. "You told the Director that Tony has taken a strong interest in the girl I'm monitoring?"

"Yes." Coulson leaned forward. "You've been watching Mira Vale for nearly a month. Have you found anything? Any anomaly at all?"

Natasha's casual deanor faded slightly. She set her glass down and leaned in.

"Honestly? No. And that's the problem."

She continued, "Her routine is painfully ordinary: school, apartnt, supermarket, occasional lab work with Dr. Connors. At school she attends classes, chats with Peter Parker and Gwen Stacy, and occasionally helps Peter with small programming jobs. Her grades are above average. Nothing suspicious."

"After school she either plays video gas at ho or works in the lab. Her ga logs are consistent, and university caras confirm her lab ti. But…" Natasha frowned, "she's too normal. A sixteen-year-old who can develop a groundbreaking neural translation algorithm and co-lead an advanced prosthetic project with Dr. Connors, yet she maintains average grades and stays as low-profile as a ghost."

She narrowed her eyes. "Her counter-surveillance skills are off the charts. I approached her four tis using different covers. She never looked at directly, yet she always slipped out of my surveillance range perfectly."

Natasha shook her head. "Her digital footprint is spotless. During both the Harlem incident and the Queens explosion, her GPS placed her at ho playing gas. The session data looks too perfect—like a pre-recorded script. No illegal activity, no suspicious connections. It's too clean."

She t Coulson's gaze. "We both know a normal person—even a top S.H.I.E.L.D. agent—couldn't pull this off. She's like a flawless actress playing the role of an ordinary high school girl every single day."

"What about the physical match?" Coulson asked. "Silver hair, blue eyes. Do you think she's the sa as that Command-type Siren from the incidents?"

Natasha was silent for a mont. "The physical match is high. But she had solid alibis both tis. Even if those alibis were forged, we have no forensic evidence. Plus, the Siren's abilities—piloting unknown cha with technology far beyond Earth's level—don't line up with a girl who spends her days playing video gas in a tiny apartnt."

She added, "That said, I'm certain she has deep connections to that Siren group. Also, her prosthetic project with Dr. Connors just received major material support from Stark Industries. Tony's team is visiting the lab tomorrow. I'll keep watching for any breakthrough."

Coulson nodded. "One more thing. The Osborn Group's recent movents are suspicious."

"Norman Osborn?" Natasha's eyes sharpened. "His Retroviral Hyperplasia is flaring up. He's been pouring money into genetic research and getting close to Dr. Connors. What's the issue?"

"It's not just research," Coulson said gravely. "Oscorp has been purchasing large quantities of military-grade materials and making shady contacts with secret military projects—even reaching out to remnants of the Ten Rings. Norman's ntal state is deteriorating: manic swings, increasingly radical behavior. The Director thinks he could beco the next major unstable factor."

The two agents fell quiet. The waters of New York were growing darker.

Tony Stark. The sudden appearance of Spider-Man. The mysterious silver-haired girl. The increasingly unstable Norman Osborn. Hidden military forces. And restless elents within S.H.I.E.L.D. itself.

A storm was quietly brewing.

"I understand," Natasha said calmly. "I'll keep watching Mira Vale and monitor Osborn's movents. Any anomalies, and I'll report imdiately."

Coulson looked out the window at the cold New York night and sighed softly.

"I hope Fury is right—that these enhanced people will be able to stand up and protect the city when the real storm hits."

Natasha didn't reply. She simply took another slow sip of ice water, her sharp green eyes drifting toward Columbia University.

Just what kind of secrets was that beautiful silver-haired girl hiding?
