Now reading: Chapter 1 1: Locke the Cheater from Marvel: The Super Player, a Action novel by Redestro666.

『Sun God Bloodline: SSR-grade. After successful exchange, you will obtain the divinity and divine power of the sun, becoming the supre High God. Exchange price: 100 million Achievent Points, 100 million Potential Points.』

『Superman Bloodline: SR-grade. After successful exchange, you will beco a Superman capable of anything on earth or in the sky. Exchange price: 50 million Achievent Points, 50 million Potential Points.』

These two would be a perfect match!

As the new sester began, Locke looked at these two bloodlines in the mall as he usually did, thinking to himself.

The Sun God could give him the sun's divinity and divine power, while Superman seed to rely on the sun to grow stronger.

If these two were paired together, the effect should be much greater than just one plus one. Anyway, Locke figured it definitely wouldn't be simple addition; at the very least, it should be multiplication.

Every ti he looked at these two bloodlines, Locke felt an infinite surge of motivation.

At the very least...

There was hope of becoming immortal.

As for the exchange price?

Locke wasn't afraid of a high price; he was only afraid of there being no price listed at all. Since there was a price, it was a clear tag. As long as he made progress every day, he would eventually save up enough.

Brave Locke fears no difficulty.

However...

『Na: Locke Broughton (Sole Player)』

『Talent: Resilience (Level 3) (Your physical fitness and recovery speed will be greatly increased)』

『Skills: Driving (Beginner), English (Grade 8), History (Grade 8), Math (Grade 8), Shooting (Interdiate), Sniping (Advanced)...』

『Current Quest:』

『Daily Quest: Mock Exam』

『Basic Quest Completion Reward: 500 Achievent Points, 500 Potential Points』

『Quest Note: You are a player. The only things that can influence you are rewards, not emotions. As a transfer student, whether you choose to hide your light or make a stunning debut is up to you. Your ga, your choice.』

"..."

"I hope there are more triggerable quests in New York City."

He needed more Achievent and Potential Points, but the system didn't issue quests forcefully. Any quest had to be triggered by himself, which was why Locke had transferred to New York.

Simple enough.

New York had a lot of people.

More people ant more quest triggers.

More quests ant more Achievent and Potential Points upon completion.

And Achievent and Potential Points ant he was one step closer to exchanging for the Sun God bloodline.

Look at this...

He had just transferred, and a mock exam quest popped up imdiately. If this were his old school, he'd be lucky to have one exam per sester.

But it was understandable.

His old school practiced "happy education," while the one he transferred to practiced quality education.

Happy education breeds trash, quality education breeds elites.

Makes sense.

Locke sat in his seat, looking at the classmates around him. From the first impression alone, he could clearly feel the gap between this place and his school in Texas.

Midtown High School truly lives up to its reputation for having many talents.

But...

Where was the Spider-Man?

In other words, shouldn't Peter Parker also be at Midtown High?

Could it be that he doesn't exist in my version of the world?

Locke blinked as he watched a girl not far away with blonde hair, a pretty face, and a very sweet smile.

This is Gwen Stacy, no doubt about it.

So where is the Spider?

Over there, Gwen was chatting with her best friend about their holiday gains. Out of the corner of her eye, she noticed Locke's gaze on her. She looked over curiously at Locke, who was sitting quietly in his seat, wearing a casual blazer and sporting short, ssy blonde hair, looking more mature than his age suggested.

"Kim, that classmate..."

"You an him? I heard he's a transfer student from Texas."

"Is that so?"

"Yeah."

Hearing her friend's words, Gwen nodded thoughtfully. After a mont's consideration, she stood up and walked toward Locke.

Locke's eyebrow twitched slightly as he watched Gwen approach.

"Hello."

Gwen walked up to Locke and smiled, extending her hand. "I'm Gwen, the 9th-grade student assistant. If there's anything you don't understand, feel free to ask. I'll do my best to help you."

"...Locke!"

Locke shook hands with Gwen and spoke up. "I just transferred here. Thank you, Gwen."

"You're welco."

"Ask if there's anything you're confused about."

"Thanks, I will."

Gwen smiled, and seeing the teacher enter, she returned to her seat.

She was the 9th-grade student assistant; helping every student have a good learning experience was part of her job.

But...

I wonder how this Locke's grades are?

Gwen sat in her seat, watching Locke stand up and give a calm self-introduction under the guidance of the math teacher.

Ten minutes later.

After the teacher introduced Locke as the new mber, the math teacher imdiately announced that the holiday was over, but the fun shouldn't stop—let's have so fun with a mock exam paper.

Instantly.

The classroom erupted.

The top students, like Gwen, looked expectant.

The slackers groaned in agony.

Sure enough...

This is a normal learning atmosphere. It was nothing like Texas—man, there, learning was purely based on interest, and socializing was the main the. If Locke hadn't lived two lives and possessed decent self-control, he probably would have been led astray.

However.

This exam paper...

Locke raised an eyebrow as he looked at the paper he received.

"How is it?"

The math teacher walked up to Locke. "Are you having trouble adjusting?"

Locke looked up at the math teacher and shook his head.

He had been unadjusted to this world for sixteen years; even if he wasn't adjusted, he was used to it by now.

It's just...

"For the rewards!"

"Deep Blue..."

"Bah!"

"System, upgrade Math."

『Ding!』

『Upgrading Math (Grade 8) to Math (Grade 9) requires 1000 Potential Points. Confirm upgrade?』

"Confirm!"

『Ding!』

『Upgrade successful. Wishing the player a pleasant ga.』

Locke didn't know if the ga was pleasant or not, but he knew his heart ached a little for the points.

But...

Any investnt in oneself is worth it. Investing is for better returns.

Along with the fresh knowledge rapidly washing through his sea of consciousness, everything regarding 9th-grade math opened his mory and entered it in an orderly fashion.

Looking at the test paper in his hand now?

So simple and easy!

The ga of life, the ga of life.

If you can't use cheats in a ga, then the ga is utterly aningless!
