Watching the soldiers scatter like roaches, Jason smiled coldly.

’Run? Not so fucking fast!’

He lightly tapped his right foot on the ground.

In the next instant, he vanished from where he stood.

The last armored vehicle had bolted over a hundred ters away, its driver and soldiers just starting to breathe easier. But in the blink of an eye, Jason appeared right in front of them.

The driver’s face twisted with shock, then rage, as he recalled Jason getting knocked down earlier. His expression beca feral, and he slamd his foot on the gas, roaring, "Shit! I’ll run your sorry ass over, you son of a bitch!"

The engine roared as the armored vehicle accelerated, barreling toward Jason.

Jason raised his right arm, channeling energy into his fist.

"Let’s try ten percent power first," He muttered.

With that, he swung his fist, smashing it straight into the vehicle’s front.

BOOM!

A deafening explosion rang out as the massive energy punched right through the armor, leaving a fist-sized hole in the vehicle’s core.

The armored vehicle was blasted over ten ters into the air, disintegrating mid-flight into a shower of parts that rained down like confetti.

The dozen soldiers inside were slamd back by the sudden stop, their necks snapping with a sickening crack.

Jason’s eyes widened, staring at his fist in disbelief.

He’d thought the punch would just stop the vehicle, not fucking dismantle it.

’Ten percent power did THAT? Holy shit, what’s a hundred percent gonna do?’

"Fuck yeah, this is too damn fun!" Jason’s face lit up with a manic grin, like a kid unwrapping a new toy.

He turned, locking eyes on another armored vehicle. With a light step, he leaped forward.

The vehicle was hundreds of ters away, and Jason’s energy control was still rough—halfway through his leap, he lost montum and started dropping in a parabolic arc.

Then, a spark of genius.

He poured energy into his feet, converting kinetic energy into a blast of wind.

The downward trajectory reversed as Jason rocketed toward the vehicle.

Using his feet to adjust the energy output and direction, he soared through the air, landing solidly on the armored vehicle’s roof.

"Now, let’s try twenty percent."

With those words, twin surges of raw energy erupted from his feet, spreading out in a wide burst.

The speeding vehicle couldn’t handle the force. It screeched to a halt.

Bang! Bang!

Six massive bulletproof tires exploded under the pressure, and the vehicle’s chassis slamd into the ground.

Jason kept pouring energy out, and the armored vehicle began to deform, creaking with agonizing tallic groans.

In a symphony of grinding steel, the nearly three-ter-tall vehicle was crushed flat, reduced to a pancake sixty centiters thick.

The soldiers inside were pulped into a bloody ss.

The remaining vehicles floored it, desperate to escape, but Jason didn’t bother chasing them.

He hopped off the wreckage, his heart pounding like a jackhamr.

The thrill inside him was about to fucking explode.

This unstoppable, godlike power was everything he’d ever dread of.

He gathered energy under his feet and kicked off, launching into the air. The asphalt cracked, leaving two deep footprints.

A massive burst of wind energy propelled him upward, like an arrow loosed into the black sky.

Jason manipulated the energy to hover steadily hundreds of ters above the ground.

Looking out, he took in the glittering sprawl of Los Angeles, the city that never sleeps, spread out beneath him.

At that mont, his entire worldview shifted.

That smug bastard Stark had been sent running with his tail between his legs. The skyscrapers around him were fragile as paper. The people and cars below were like ants—life or death at his whim.

A whirlwind of emotions hit Jason.

Then, a surge of overwhelming triumph erupted from deep within, like a fucking rainstorm soaking his soul.

For the first ti, Jason understood what it felt like to dominate the world.

Sure, he wasn’t there yet, but he knew that day wasn’t far off.

---

Suddenly, the faint hum of helicopter blades reached his ears.

He turned, spotting two Apache attack helicopters closing in fast.

"Heh, fucking idiots looking to die!" Jason growled, clenching his right fist and converting energy into electricity.

Zzt! Zzt! Zzt!

Arcs of lightning danced around his fist.

He swung hard, aiming at the helicopters.

A bolt of electric energy, thick as his fist, shot out like a thunderous serpent, striking the first helicopter.

Blue currents surged across its fra. Despite its lightning protection, the helicopter’s electronics fried, smoke pouring from the control panel.

The chopper lost power, spiraling toward the ground.

BOOM!

It smashed into a high-rise office building, erupting into a blinding fireball.

Jason clenched his fist again, ready to zap the second chopper.

But then, a Hellfire missile launched from the Apache’s weapon rack.

"SHIT!" Jason’s eyes widened in panic.

He didn’t have ti to aim at the helicopter. Instead, he poured everything into flying the hell away.

Hellfire missiles were designed to shred ground armor, packing 120 TNT. Jason could only absorb about 100 TNT in a split second.

Taking a Hellfire head-on was a death sentence.

The missile, laser-guided and faster than Mach 1, closed in rapidly. Jason, still new to his powers, wasn’t smooth enough to outmaneuver it. It caught up fast.

Seconds before impact, the missile’s warhead popped open, revealing six razor-sharp blades spinning like a propeller, driven by a high-speed motor.

This wasn’t a standard Hellfire—it was a Stark Industries custom job. They’d swapped the high-explosive payload for a counterweight and added the blades for precision assassination missions.

The missile’s accuracy was unreal. It could hit a car from eight kiloters up, slicing the target in the back seat to ribbons while barely scratching the driver.

The military loved it for urban ops—no collateral damage from explosives, no international backlash.

But for a freak like Jason? This mod was fucking stupid.

Realizing the missile’s true nature, Jason let out a relieved breath.

He spun to face the Hellfire, releasing all his stored energy to form a pale blue protective shield over his body.

A/N:- His Level 1 Energy Absorption limit (100 kg TNT) would be reached in about 0.35 seconds.

An absorption rate of approximately 285.46 kg TNT/second.
