Now reading: Chapter 150 150 from Marvel's Kryptonian Scientist, a Action novel by TutorialNPC.

Iron Man had completely underestimated the scale of the crisis.

His Iron Legion was torn apart almost imdiately by the endless waves of increasingly powerful monsters flooding the battlefield.

Several suits were ripped open midair.

Others were smashed apart outright.

Tony himself barely escaped alive more than once and was currently operating on little more than stubbornness and adrenaline.

"JARVIS, note this down. The armor needs heavier weapons."

"JARVIS, add advanced thermal shielding. I almost got cooked alive."

"JARVIS, anti-sonic counterasures. Imdiately."

"And improve cold resistance. I nearly got flash-frozen."

Even while flying between collapsing city blocks, Tony continued rattling off upgrades.

His thoughts kept circling back to the bizarre sprout-like monster he'd encountered earlier.

Tiny thing.

Cowardly-looking too.

Tony had assud one repulsor blast would vaporize it.

Instead, the creature instantly generated a massive block of ice that trapped his entire armor before he could react.

None of it made scientific sense.

Not even remotely.

If JARVIS hadn't remotely rerouted power to overheat the armor systems, Tony would probably still be sitting inside an ice cube waiting for rescue.

And for Tony Stark, needing rescue was unacceptable.

After Tony uploaded the creature's combat data, the Hero Bureau imdiately distributed the information across every active mber database.

Dragon-Level Monster: Sprout

Capable of instantly generating ultra-low-temperature ice structures.

Do not hesitate upon contact. Engage imdiately.

Attached beneath the warning was a combat image showing Iron Man frozen solid inside a giant crystalline mass.

The reaction across the network was imdiate.

"A Dragon-Level monster? That thing's tiny."

"It froze an S-Class hero instantly?"

"Director Valen thinks the ice might not even be natural ice. It may resist conventional lting thods."

Every active hero and tactical unit imdiately beca more cautious.

Everyone except Tony.

Because Drex had included his na in the report.

Tony stared at the combat file in disbelief.

Sure, he understood the reasoning. If an S-Class hero got instantly neutralized, people needed to know.

But seriously?

Couldn't Drex have anonymized it?

"An S-Class hero was frozen" would've been enough.

There were multiple S-Class heroes.

Now everyone knew it was him.

Tony spent a solid minute internally cursing Drex's complete lack of rcy before deciding not to call him.

Not now.

Every hero understood the pressure currently sitting on Drex's shoulders. The entire world was on fire, and countless operations depended on his coordination.

Complaining about personal embarrassnt during a global extinction event felt idiotic.

That conversation could wait.

Ironically, the man everyone imagined drowning under impossible pressure was currently sitting comfortably inside the Director's Office watching battlefield feeds.

Drex looked almost relaxed.

Mostly because nobody actually needed him to micromanage anything.

The Sentinel units stationed worldwide had already entered active combat deploynt, while the Black Queen's artificial intelligence systems handled strategic coordination with terrifying efficiency.

At first, the AI had shown minor instability under the overwhelming volu of simultaneous global conflicts.

Then it adapted.

Rapidly.

The Black Queen's learning capability began refining tactical flaws almost in real ti, evolving into an increasingly precise and flawless command system.

Superheroes repositioned perfectly.

Military units received near-instant tactical updates.

Evacuation routes shifted dynamically around battle zones.

Entire cities survived because of split-second decisions made faster than human minds could process.

And because the Black Queen issued all commands using Drex's voice, the world's political leadership assud the impossible was happening.

They watched in stunned silence as "Drex Valen" simultaneously coordinated battlefields across the entire planet without a single visible mistake.

"What the hell is he?"

"How many things can one person process at once?"

So of the greatest military strategists in modern history suddenly looked primitive by comparison.

The gap felt absurd.

"If Drex Valen had been born during a world war," one official muttered quietly, "there probably wouldn't be any other countries left afterward."

Another gave a grim smile.

"We might've conquered more than Germany."

The military brilliance Drex appeared to display ignited both admiration and fear among global leadership.

anwhile, frontline heroes and soldiers beca increasingly awed by the calm, precise battlefield coordination guiding them through disaster after disaster.

Eventually, most Wolf-Level and Tiger-Level monsters were eliminated.

What remained were the true nightmares.

Demon-Level.

Dragon-Level.

In the world of One Punch Man, most Demon-Level monsters were already comparable to the Hulk in raw destructive capability.

Dragon-Level threats were even worse.

Trying to eliminate large numbers of creatures like that quickly was nearly impossible unless soone on the level of Tatsumaki or Saitama entered the battlefield.

Otherwise, it beca a brutal war of attrition.

"Humans," Bug God growled, his crushed body sprawled across shattered pavent, "I didn't expect your resistance to reach this level."

Hulk stepped forward, preparing to finish him off with another punch.

Then a powerful kick slamd into Hulk's side and launched him backward through multiple ruined buildings.

A new monster stood where Bug God had fallen.

Massive.

Arms folded calmly across its chest.

Its face twisted with multiple grotesque eyes staring in different directions at once.

The creature grabbed Bug God and lifted him effortlessly.

Then it addressed the battlefield.

The monsters belonged to an organization known as the Monster Association.

And within that organization existed countless powerful monsters beyond anything humanity had seen today.

This attack?

Only a warning.

A reconnaissance operation.

The next ti they attacked, humanity would be exterminated completely.

Across the globe, other surviving Demon-Level and Dragon-Level monsters delivered the sa ssage before retreating.

The na spread worldwide within hours.

The Monster Association.

And suddenly, fear settled over humanity like a suffocating fog.

An organization containing that many Demon-Level and Dragon-Level monsters was almost unimaginable.

How were humans supposed to fight sothing like that?

In the end, the world's governnts could only place their hopes in two things:

Drex Valen.

And the Hero Bureau.

Shortly afterward, the leaders of the world's major powers requested a direct eting with Drex.

After the Monster Association incident, even governnts that had secretly tried undermining the Hero Bureau were forced to reevaluate their priorities.

For now, sabotaging Drex Valen no longer seed like a smart idea.

Inside a secured international conference chamber attended only by the world's strongest nations, the President of the United States spoke first.

"Drex Valen," he said gravely, "what's your assessnt of the Monster Association?"

Drex casually rotated an obscenely expensive fountain pen between his fingers.

"No complicated assessnt," he answered calmly. "They're monsters who realized getting hunted individually by superheroes was a bad strategy."

He leaned back slightly.

"So they organized. Sa thing humans do."

Several world leaders visibly relaxed.

When he phrased it like that, the situation almost sounded manageable.

Almost.

"But there's one important issue," Drex continued.

"This so-called reconnaissance attack was largely successful."

The room went quiet again.

"They now understand the Hero Bureau's approximate combat capabilities. They've observed military response tis. Tactical deploynt patterns. Superhero strength levels."

Drex's expression remained unreadable.

"And us?"

He set the pen down softly against the table.

"We know almost nothing."

"The only information we possess cos from the Demon-Level and Dragon-Level monsters that revealed themselves publicly."

A brief silence followed.

"Which ans," Drex finished, "we have absolutely no idea how many monsters the Association actually has."

The atmosphere inside the conference room instantly beca heavier.
