The greatest authority possessed by Chi You, the Lord of War, was his dominion over warfare itself.

And because he was the legendary creator of weapons forged from tal, he also possessed authority over every weapon ever made.

"Go."

Drex Valen nodded.

Chi You imdiately shot toward Xingtian's battlefield.

Without the slightest hesitation, he raised his empty hands and slashed toward the nearest target.

Balder, God of Light.

Chi You had already identified him as the cornerstone of Asgard's resistance.

Whenever Yang Jian or Xingtian ca close to delivering a killing blow, Balder stepped in and intercepted it on behalf of his brothers.

As long as Asgard remained, no attack could truly defeat Balder.

At least, under normal circumstances.

At first glance, Chi You appeared unard.

In reality, what he wielded was infinitely more dangerous than any divine artifact.

He wasn't holding a weapon.

He was holding divine authority.

The authority of the Lord of War.

Crimson divine power gathered in his hands, blood-red and unmistakable. The power condensed into a weapon embodying the very concept of warfare itself.

A battle-axe.

The purest symbol of conquest and slaughter.

The mont it ford, Chi You brought it crashing down upon Balder's head.

Balder reacted instantly.

Every ounce of his divine power surged outward as he raised his weapons to defend himself.

It didn't matter.

The outco had already been decided.

The authority of the Lord of War was not rely destructive.

It determined victory.

It determined defeat.

It determined life and death.

The mont Chi You's strike descended, Balder's fate had already been written.

Defeat.

Death.

Resistance beca aningless.

Defense beca aningless.

If such a strike could simply be blocked, then the authority of the Lord of War would be nothing more than a joke.

Instead, it reached directly into causality itself, rewriting destiny with terrifying force.

As long as a battlefield existed, the Lord of War stood as an almost unbeatable existence.

Far beyond the title of an ordinary war god.

Balder had no answer.

The crimson axe passed through him.

His head separated from his body.

The God of Light shattered into fragnts of divine radiance.

Under normal circumstances, Balder would have eventually returned.

That was simply how his existence worked.

But Chi You's authority had no interest in normal circumstances.

In a single instant, the divine power representing Balder was completely erased.

The aning of absolute defeat had been fulfilled.

The God of Light ceased to exist.

The battlefield froze.

Every one of Balder's brothers stared in shock.

None of them had imagined Chi You could be this terrifying.

Then they noticed sothing even worse.

The two arms that had slain Balder were no longer acting alone.

The remaining six arms were already weaving divine power into new weapons.

Blades.

Spears.

Swords.

Halberds.

Every weapon imaginable materialized from crimson divine energy.

Tyr's expression changed imdiately.

"Balder is dead!"

Even Odin had not fully recovered yet.

And now he had watched the son least likely to die vanish before his eyes.

Pure fury exploded within him.

Ignoring the damage to his own body, Odin charged directly into battle.

He intercepted Chi You head-on.

The mont they clashed, Odin nearly found himself torn apart by the storm of axes, spears, swords, halberds, hooks, and blades wielded by Chi You's eight arms.

Fortunately for him, he possessed an answer to powers that manipulated causality and fate.

The Destroyer Armor.

Long ago, the armor had been blessed by countless gods.

Among them were many deities who wielded authority over fate itself.

At the ti, the various pantheons had only wanted soone capable of standing against the Celestials.

They had chosen Odin largely because he was reckless enough to charge into impossible battles.

No one had truly expected him to win.

They rely hoped he could survive longer than anyone else.

Because of that, the blessings placed upon the Destroyer Armor had been completely sincere.

No one held back.

Then Odin achieved the impossible.

He had actually severed the head of a Celestial.

The victory had been brief.

The punishnt that followed had been brutal.

But Odin survived.

And he returned carrying an armor infused with the power of countless gods.

Now, facing Chi You, Odin activated the blessings of the Fate Gods embedded within the Destroyer Armor.

Their power surged forth and collided with the authority of the Lord of War.

For the first ti since his creation, Chi You encountered resistance.

A strange feeling crossed his mind.

His divine authority had always been unstoppable.

Now it had t an equal.

His power erupted across the battlefield like an endless storm.

The authority of war descended upon Odin, declaring destruction.

Declaring defeat.

Declaring annihilation.

War had never represented rcy.

Nor justice.

Nor righteousness.

War was destruction given form.

Where it marched, blood followed.

Where it lingered, cities beca ruins.

Where it ended, graves remained.

War was the ultimate trial faced by all living things.

Sooner or later, everything was consud by it.

No one truly escaped.

Even the victor would eventually beco another casualty.

Yet that did not an the God of War always stood triumphant.

War was a double-edged blade.

Those who wielded it were forced to suffer its consequences as well.

At most, a war god could tilt the scales.

Push destruction toward soone else.

That was the true essence of warfare.

Every war deity followed the sa principle.

Whether it was Chi You.

Or Ares of Greece.

Or Horus of Egypt.

The difference lay only in how much influence they could exert over the outco.

Ares had been defeated by his own sister.

Horus had lost an eye.

Even gods of war were not immune to defeat.

And now that sa truth was unfolding once again.

Odin endured.

Driven by grief and rage, he unleashed even more of the divine power stored within the Destroyer Armor.

Power that could never be replenished.

Power that diminished with every use.

But Odin no longer cared.

The battlefield trembled.

Chi You attacked.

Xingtian attacked.

Yang Jian attacked.

Three overwhelming divine beings joined forces.

And still they could not suppress the All-Father.

Tyr and his brothers watched in stunned disbelief.

Their father stood alone against three gods powerful enough to shake worlds.

And he was winning.

Across the battlefield, the gods of other pantheons wore increasingly ugly expressions.

"Odin still hasn't exhausted that power?"

Many of them were beginning to regret their generosity.

Long ago, they had poured too much divine power into the Destroyer Armor.

Even after all these centuries, Odin still had reserves remaining.

Now the All-Father stood clad in the strength of countless gods.

So blessings restored his body.

Others reinforced it.

Together, they allowed him to unleash levels of power that should have torn his own flesh apart.

This wasn't a simple increase in strength.

This wasn't one plus one becoming two.

This was sothing far more terrifying.

A monster empowered by the accumulated might of entire pantheons.

And at that mont, All-Father Odin looked unstoppable.
