"...oh."

Fury's outburst stopped instantly, as if soone had grabbed him by the throat.

His expression shifted, and his tone changed just as quickly.

"On second thought… Calvin is indeed extrely dangerous. Based on our current tests, with Earth's technology, it's impossible to completely eliminate it without nuclear weapons."

"Looking at it that way, Calvin really is a serious threat. If we're not careful, it could backfire on us."

"It should be destroyed. Absolutely destroyed."

Fury nodded seriously, already recalculating the situation in his mind as he suppressed his frustration.

"Tell Thor we'll fully cooperate with his operation. Since we're eliminating hidden dangers, we need to do it thoroughly."

"Organizations like Umbrella Corporation, Oscorp, BioSyn, Vanguard Science, and others… they might also have Calvin samples. And don't forget the international pharmaceutical groups."

"Make a list first and hand it to Thor. Tell him to check them one by one."

Nick Fury had already been caught in the storm himself, so he decided to tear down everyone else's umbrella as well.

Either everyone researches it together, or no one does.

That way, everyone starts from the sa line. Isn't that fair?

What? Calling S.H.I.E.L.D. shaless?

S.H.I.E.L.D. had no choice. That was Asgard, the realm of gods. If you've got the guts, go argue with them.

Go find Thor yourself.

It wasn't S.H.I.E.L.D. who destroyed anything. What does it have to do with them?

Hill fell silent for a mont before nodding. "Understood, Director."

That night, Thor tore through the darkness with thunder.

Brilliant flashes of lightning erupted across the globe.

For a ti, countless organizations were thrown into chaos.

Privately, they ground their teeth in anger, cursing Thor for ddling in their affairs.

If anger could kill, Thor would have died a thousand tis over.

...

The next day arrived.

The sun rose high, and the thunder finally subsided.

Luke woke up feeling refreshed. Madison and Alessa followed behind him, both looking radiant while Rose slept in the bed alone.

To be honest, it was no wonder so many n enjoyed being a father.

After experiencing it himself, Luke found it difficult to describe. It was sothing outsiders simply couldn't understand.

Although Rose and Alessa weren't related by blood, Alessa still acknowledged Rose's place as a mother figure out of respect for Sharon.

And after realizing Luke enjoyed it, she beca even more enthusiastic and affectionate.

As the saying goes, when two work together, even steel can be cut.

Unfortunately, Luke was far beyond sothing like steel.

One pair wasn't enough.

As soon as he ca downstairs, he saw Yulenka, Cheryl, and Annabeth discussing sothing.

Seeing this, Luke asked casually, "What are you talking about?"

Cheryl shot Alessa a resentful look. Alessa pursed her lips and turned her gaze away, clearly embarrassed.

But there was nothing she could do. She couldn't just stop because of Cheryl.

Yulenka replied sweetly, "We were asking Sister Annabeth what the biggest monster in the world is."

"Oh? Did you reach a conclusion?"

Luke glanced at Annabeth, whose expression looked extrely unnatural. She lowered her head so much that her face was almost hidden.

Yulenka nodded. "I said the biggest one is Godzilla, but Sister Annabeth said the largest is Charybdis. In Greek mythology, it represents a giant whirlpool."

"They say Charybdis is enormous, living deep in the sea, creating massive whirlpools to swallow passing ships. Even the gods fear it."

"But I think if such a powerful monster really existed, the righteous Godzilla would definitely deal with it."

Charybdis?

Luke recalled the scene from Percy Jackson & The Sea of Monsters. The creature in the Strait of ssina had only revealed its teeth, not its full body.

Just that massive mouth alone was probably dozens of ters across.

Its true body could easily reach hundreds of ters.

Compared to that, even Godzilla or Ghidorah might look small.

In the original story, it had been destroyed from within by a cannon fired from an ironclad ship blessed by Ares, allowing the heroes to escape.

But regardless, a creature of that size, even with a density similar to a kaiju, would weigh tens of thousands, if not hundreds of thousands, of tons.

Conventional human weapons would be useless against it.

Still, compared to Godzilla…

Luke felt Charybdis would probably end up getting beaten into submission.

Then again, if he had the chance, he could go take a look at the Strait of ssina himself.

A creature that big should be worth quite a few anomaly points, right?

Luke looked thoughtful, catching the strange behavior of Cheryl and Annabeth out of the corner of his eye.

Sothing wasn't right.

Yulenka continued, "Oh, right, Dad. I heard an interesting story from Sister Annabeth. She said there's a girl in Britain nad Alice who once went to a mysterious place filled with all kinds of magical potions."

"Can we go take a look during sumr vacation?"

Yulenka blinked her bright eyes and pleaded sweetly.

The mont Luke saw her expression, he knew she had ulterior motives.

He didn't dwell on it, though. Instead, his attention was drawn to the na Alice.

His first thought was Alice from Resident Evil.

If he rembered correctly, she should still be at Umbrella right now. If he had ti, he could go take a look.

Although that Alice would gain special powers in the future, it had nothing to do with magical potions.

In that case… it had to be the other Alice.

Alice in Wonderland?
