Countless thoughts flashed through Ada Wong's mind, only to be forcibly suppressed. She shook her head and whispered, "I'm withdrawing from this mission."
The person on the other end was clearly taken aback and tried to persuade her. "With your looks and your abilities, taking him 'down' shouldn't be that difficult…"
"Enough! I want money, but I want my life even more!"
Ada Wong hung up the call and took several deep breaths.
As painful as it was, she couldn't accept this job.
"Now… all I need is an opportunity…"
Ada hesitated, wondering whether she should simply reveal everything outright.
At that mont, she noticed a piece of paper lying at her feet, as if it had appeared out of nowhere.
Ada Wong's pupils contracted. She was certain it hadn't been there when she entered.

When she read the words written on it, Ada's entire body trembled.

Luke's handso face instinctively surfaced in Ada Wong's mind.

Ada Wong's expression was extrely complicated. "So ever since I ca back, I've been under his surveillance…"
"Is it monitoring? Or perhaps… so kind of supernatural ability?"
This was the first ti in all her years of missions that she had felt such utter powerlessness.
It wasn't as if she had never dealt with superhumans before.
In past missions, she had personally killed more than a dozen mutants or monsters.
Yet the pressure Luke gave her far exceeded the combined weight of all her previous experiences.
"Go… or not go?"
Ada Wong fell into deep thought.
This hardly felt like a real choice.
She walked over to the first-floor window and saw a little girl quickly running out of the house next to Luke's.
She recognized her. According to the intelligence, the little girl was Emma, a special talent suspected of having sociopathic tendencies.
One of the reasons Ada Wong had co here was to test Emma, to see whether she could be recruited into the organization and grood as her successor.
Soone like that was naturally suited to beco an agent.
But now…
"Sigh."
Whoosh—boom!
A dazzling flash of light erupted as a missile, traveling at supersonic speed, slamd violently into the location where Luke was.
Ada Wong's expression changed drastically. Without the slightest hesitation, she turned and sprinted toward the underground room.
When the city gate catches fire, the fish in the moat suffer.
Any force capable of launching missiles directly into an urban area was undoubtedly among the most ruthless.
Ada Wong glanced back and saw that the house Luke was in had suffered no damage at all.
An invisible barrier had blocked the missile's impact entirely, though the shockwave shattered the glass near where Ada Wong had been standing.
"Autobots, attack!"
A group of towering robots shouted in unison as they climbed out of the underground garage.
The bizarre sight made Ada Wong instinctively stop in her tracks.
"Hahaha! Optimus Pri, have you fallen so low that you have to hide in garages now?"
"What a disgrace to Cybertron!"
An F-22 Raptor fighter jet descended from high altitude and transford into a massive robot mid-air.
gatron's right arm transford into a fusion cannon, its muzzle aid directly at Optimus Pri and the others.
Behind him, a Sea Stallion ard helicopter, an F-15 fighter jet, an M1 main battle tank, and a heavily ard minesweeper crashed through the streets, rapidly transforming and lining up behind gatron as they confronted Optimus Pri's forces.
In addition to them, there were dozens of mass-produced Decepticon soldiers.
These units had been manufactured later by Starscream, with all their configurations optimized purely for expendable cannon fodder.
Ada Wong stared at the standoff between the two robotic factions with wide eyes. Although she had witnessed many supernatural phenona before, this was the first ti she had ever seen sothing this absurd.
Why had the entire world beco so unfamiliar ever since she accepted this mission?
"gatron, leave imdiately! I don't want to fight you. Earth is not a place you can claim!"
Optimus Pri raised his laser cannon but did not fire.
After all, this was New York. Since they had chosen to live here, they had to consider the safety of the surrounding Earthlings.
Luke was still here.
At that mont, Luke stepped out of the room, with Veronica following behind him.

Veronica scanned the surrounding Transforrs, her expression turning strange.
"They look like the knight order that helped us fight the evil forces back then."
"The Knights of the Round Table?"
Luke thought of the plot from Transforrs: The Last Knight, and his expression beca equally odd.
In that story, the Knights of the Round Table were twelve Cybertronian knights who could combine into the Storm Dragon and had assisted rlin and King Arthur in winning the war.
Judging by the original account, the idea itself was rather unbelievable. How could an ordinary mortal possibly convince Transforrs to serve him?
But in this chaotic universe, rlin had been the Sorcerer Supre of his era. In that context, it didn't seem so unreasonable that he could command Transforrs.
Veronica nodded. "Back then, there were twelve guardian Transforrs, the twelve knights, who ca from Cybertron. They descended upon Earth to retrieve a certain artifact, acting under the control of a mysterious entity."
"Master rlin helped them break free from that entity's control and earned the trust of the knight order. From then on, both sides beca allies and fought together for Earth's peace."
At that mont, Luke suddenly recalled sothing.
In Transforrs 5, Earth itself was Unicron.
But this was now a rged universe.
So the question was: inside the current Earth, was it Unicron, the sleeping god Tiamut, or the Titan sealed within the abyssal core?
Just imagining multiple colossal gods cramd inside a tiny planet like Earth was enough to make one's scalp tingle.
Was this so kind of Gu cultivation experint?
They would probably end up fighting tooth and nail for control over Earth, wouldn't they?
Veronica naturally had no idea what Luke was thinking. She was instead wondering whether they should awaken the twelve knights.
With the Cybertronians descending once more, did that an the mysterious entity that had once controlled the knights had also set its sights on Earth again?
gatron noticed Luke's appearance and shot Starscream a glance. "He's yours."
Starscream silently returned an "OK" look.
Don't worry, Boss. Luke is mine.
As the Decepticons' second-in-command, Starscream was by no ans weak.
But compared to the powerful Optimus Pri and the formidable Autobots, the Earthling who stood less than two ters tall was clearly the easier target.
Everyone understood the principle of picking the softest target first, and he was no exception.
"Kill them!"
After a brief standoff, gatron imdiately opened fire and charged straight at Optimus Pri.
Everyone found their respective opponents.
At the sa ti, Starscream, wearing a ferocious expression, lunged toward Luke.
"Earthling, die!"
Originally, Luke had planned to observe the combat capabilities of Optimus Pri and the other Autobots.
Seeing Starscream act so recklessly, Luke casually waved his hand, as if brushing aside a piece of roadside trash.
A faint wave of black particles passed straight through Starscream's chest, erasing his energy core in an instant.
"H-How is this possible…?"
Starscream lowered his head, staring at the empty cavity in his chest. The red glow in his eyes faded to black as all signs of life vanished, and his massive body collapsed to the ground.
