A deep frown ford on Dr. Marshal's forehead as he heard the officer's words. His brows tightened, his shoulders stiffened, and for a mont, he simply stared at them as if their presence made no sense. From that expression alone, Shaan imdiately understood one thing—Dr. Marshal clearly also had no idea why these officers ca.

"Wait—hold on a minute. I don't understand what you're saying at all."

"The Twilight Sanctum Council will start a eting to plan the Lunaris Revia event," the brown-haired officer explained. "Therefore, they sent us to gather all faction leaders."

"Oh, I see." Dr. Marshal nodded slightly. "However… it seems that I cannot go with you at this ti. I will follow up later."

The black-haired officer widened his eyes at Dr. Marshal's response. "Dr. Marshal, why would you say that?"

"I still need to check several of my homunculi, and I must finish their inspections as soon as possible," Dr. Marshal explained. "My custors want fast service, and I don't want to disappoint them."

"Doctor, the council leader stated that this eting includes crucial matters. Every faction leader must attend on ti. That's why they sent us to bring each of you in person."

"...."

Before Dr. Marshal could respond, Shaan leaned closer and whispered, "Dr. Marshal, let handle everything here. That eting sounds important. You should go with them."

"Shaan, are you sure you can handle all of this by yourself?" Dr. Marshal glanced at him with doubt. "Checking every homunculus alone takes a long ti and drains a lot of energy."

"I'm pretty sure." Shaan smiled with full confidence. "Besides, if I run into trouble, I can ask Mr. Courier, Nalira, or Chelsie for help. Don't worry about ."

"…All right then. If you say like that, I can resist." Dr. Marshal bent down and picked up a small orange folder lying near his tools. "This contains everything you need to check. Use it as a guide. If sothing confuses you, ask Courier 020. He knows the procedures well."

"I understand."

"I leave everything here to you, Shaan," Dr. Marshal said. "Please inform Courier 020 about this."

"I got it."

With that, Dr. Marshal let out a slow breath, nodded at the officers, and followed them walked away from the house. Shaan only watched as their silhouettes disappeared down the path, making the atmosphere quiet.

"Alright, now what should I check first—"

He froze. His forehead wrinkled deeper and deeper as he scanned the first line of text. Several unfamiliar words glared back at him—words he had never seen in his life.

"Catus? mbrum Superius?" Shaan scratched his head over and over. "What the heck is this? I don't understand any of these terms. I really need to find Mr. Courier. Right now."

He slamd the folder shut and rushed toward the lab. But as he stepped into the living room, he found Mr. Courier walking out of the lab with Nalira and Chelsie at his side.

"Ah—perfect timing!" Shaan hurried toward them. "I was just looking for you. Mr. Courier, I need your help."

"Help? What kind of help?" Mr courier looked around. "Where's Sir. Marshal? Wasn't he with you earlier?"

"Yeah, he was with . But so mbers of the Council showed up and took him," Shaan explained. "The Twilight Sanctum leaders want to hold a eting with the other faction heads to discuss the Lunaris Revia event."

"Ah, Lunaris Revia." Mr Courier stroked his chin. "That event is coming soon, and everyone needs proper preparation for it."

"Uhm... Shaan, what kind of help do you actually need?" Chelsie asked curiously. "Maybe we can help you."

Shaan imdiately opened the folder again. "I wanted to help Dr. Marshal check the remaining homunculi. I tried to take the initiative but…" He scratched his head again, this ti with a sheepish grin. "Everything written in here looks like… so alien language. I went completely blank."

"Shaan, let see." Nalira took the folder gently from his hands. She skimd the page once, her eyes steady. "Catus ans 'head.' mbrum superius ans 'arm.'"

"Correct. Miss Nalira explained it perfectly." The courier nodded with confidence. "Excellent mory, Miss Nalira."

"Wow, that's amazing," Shaan blinked. "I-I didn't expect Nalira to know sothing like that."

"They're Latin terms. Mr. Courier taught us all of this back in the lab."

"That's right!" Chelsie chid in, nodding enthusiastically. "He's an excellent ntor. He explained everything to us in great detail."

"Interesting. I had no idea about that." Shaan nodded his head.

Mr Courier turned to him. "Shaan, you definitely need help with this." He shook his head lightly as he scanned the unfinished checklist. "I'll help. We need to finish the inspection quickly. We can't make the custor wait too long."

"I understand."

"... Elsie and I will help too."

"mbrum inferius ans 'leg,'" Nalira recited.

"Arm, head, leg… got it," Shaan repeated each term quietly before marking the next box. "Check, check, and check." He placed the quill down and stretched his arms. "Ah—finally. Done at last."

A long breath escaped him. Honestly, he could not believe how difficult this simple-looking task turned out to be. He used to check flower stock at Isabelle's grandmother's shop—how could checking homunculus parts be so complicated in comparison?

"At least we finished everything," Shaan said, rolling his shoulders with relief. "Now we can finally relax for a—"

"No." Mr. Courier cut him off, his voice calm but firm. "We haven't finished our job yet."

Shaan stiffened. "W-what do you an? Didn't we check everything?"

"We did," Mr. Courier replied. "But one custor wants two homunculi delivered to a specific location today." He flipped through a small note tucked inside the folder. "Here. Rosefield Residence. Inside the Twilight Sanctum."

"That's strange," Shaan muttered. A faint unease crawled up his spine. "Why would soone inside the Twilight Sanctum need two homonculi so urgently?"

"I don't know." Mr courier shrugged lightly. "But the custor specifically requested the homunculus you just repaired. And they want it delivered imdiately."
