"Excuse ." The voice seed a little on edge as it cut through the group of talking radiant light elves and light mages to get to Walker. He looked at the young attendant whom he knew was a newer employee within the Genesis building.
"You ca pretty far. Is there sothing wrong?" He worried that there had been sothing that went wrong with the grand mapping hall. If that was the case and a map was reading poorly, then they would have to check what else was going on that might need to be improved.
There was sure to be an issue here and there that would bring a few attendants or craftsn to look for his assistance. That’s why he was not too worried but just worried enough to have a concerned expression.
"No sir hero, it is not that. We have more visitors, they ca from the dark elental plane through a more distant bridge and we were contacted that they are traveling here to et you through the shadows where they can be safe. The true dark sage left a letter that I can read to you with what its contents were when given to the guard captain at the bridge location."
Now Walker’s expression shifted to serious. He knew that the other true sages may wish the sa travelers to co to the world, but right away? It appeared that a rivalry must have sparked as the true light sage had been one step ahead to bring over a group that wished to learn of other races as well.
"Go ahead." He knew the letter was most likely left because the true dark sage didn’t want to make a golem to speak with him here in the light dragon territory of Genesis. It was uncomfortable for the true dark sage, but not impossible. It just showed there were lines they did not want to cross in senses of comfortability.
"I have understood you are accepting the first visitors in to your city and the world. As such, I am sending a race known as the black wing, they are one of angels however, remain weaker to travel the very edges of the dark elental plane. Their curiosity has made them the ideal race for this knowledge exchange. Allow them safety and I will look forward to those you send to visit the safe territories of the dark elental plane."
It was short and simple, no extra words or complicated anything. Lately, it seed the true sages were blunt and quick. It might have to do with the shifting elental planes as a whole since that would be splitting their focus. They were partial embodints of the overall elental planes aning that they must have multiple golem bodies at a ti. Their central body being in ditation or focused on greater tasks.
With this theory, Walker realized that it seed the true sages might be trying to push ahead for more overall safety of the races within the elental planes due to this ti of upheaval. It was not bad that the elental planes were shifting, it was just another challenge. They were seeing a larger shift again in their lifetis which ant a lot of migration and struggle.
By sending races here to Genesis to learn, they would be able to grasp new knowledge which in turn would grant them new thods of survival and defense.
Knowing that the black wing race was a race was one that focused entirely on exploration because of their curiosity made Walker understand that as they moved through the shadows, that they would most likely wish to speak and et with others right away. It was also very comforting knowing that another angel related race was visiting.
The angels had elental angels within the wind and light territories for what Walker understood. Most likely also within the other territories of the elental planes. However, the angels had mostly beco a race that followed the orders of powerful dragons who acted as anchors in areas of protection for the elental planes. Otherwise, knowing that so decided to grow differently was interesting.
"I see, thank you. I can sense them arriving as well. Onyx is also arriving since he was able to sense them too. Midnight should also be arriving shortly since a few of them have caught up with her while she was checking with Mordant for those who may be able to venture in to the dark elental planes." Walker knew very well the sense of purer dark mana. However, he was sowhat impressed by the fact that the black wing race was hiding so well and safely within shadows.
This should have been expected since Onyx could fully ld and even allow other serpents to hide within the shadows. But for Midnight to have attracted so attention ant that she and Mordant must have been very attuned to the sudden appearance of those with potent dark mana in their bodies.
What Walker was a little more surprised about was the fact that Mordant was staying where he was and working. He was not rushing toward Walker aning he was letting Walker handle this in favor of looking for the best individuals to send to the dark elental plane himself. He was choosing to miss the black wing race so that he could do better in the future when those he and Midnight examined ventured in to the dark elental planes. It was a wise choice.
"If you will all excuse , I am going to et more visitors. They have co from the dark elental plane to also et Genesis and learn of the many races here. Thank you for your ti and if anyone is in need of please send word." Walker turned and left. He heard so murmurs of curiosity while a few of the radiant light elves appeared worried.
It was natural that the radiant light elves might be worried about soone from the dark elental planes coming here. They would know the dark and light elental planes as being clashing and dangerous rather than easily mixed and balanced. Simply because that was all they might have heard or seen.
As he got closer to Midnight, he found she had stopped at the edge of the light dragon territory. It didn’t seem that the shadows beneath her were worried about the fire dragon territory they touched on, but that was fine since it was also a shadow boundary due to the plants growing in this spot.
"I take it you are the first to rush here to et myself and others. Why don’t you all attach to my shadow and I will take us to the dark elental spirit tree where you will be more comfortable. I have been told you are not as pure in dark affinity as others which should an you have so resistance to other manas, that will only help you in your visit here."
The shadowy figures on the ground moved as Walker wished and he soon noticed Onyx nearby while he moved to the dark territory. They quickly t and followed without words being needed. However, when they reached the dark territory, the shadows lurched up and obsidian winged figures broke free. Their dark skin was tattooed with even darker patterns showing a more tribalistic ntality than what Walker had expected.
Then again, these were angels that had spent their entire lives roaming. They were more like the demi-humans who wandered the plains instead of finding a solid ho. These black wing race mbers were curious by nature and always explored. It was not part of their race’s culture and goals.
Their heads were on a swivel trying to see as much as possible with their gray eyes. Their dark black hair swaying with every movent. "I welco you to the dark territory of Genesis, governed by the royal darkness dominator dragon Mordant and blessed by the united races of Genesis."
This caught one of the more well dressed black wing race mbers’ attention and he landed in front of Walker. It was clear the shirt and pants he wore were made from a monster’s hide, one with dark but also so earth affinity as Walker sensed. A boon from one of the explorations along the edges of the dark elental plane.
"The great true sage spoke of angels here. Living differently from us. Also that dark mana was different here, mixed up making new things. So we ca. We wish to see and battle. We brought items for trade. We brought books of our explorations and the boundaries. We were told you would want them."
The way the dark wing race spoke was a little sporadic, but the fact that this dark wing race leader seed to struggle to remain focused made it very clear. The world was overwhelming to them right now.
