While newly added, this was an elental plane. A fire elental plane. So why wasn't the true fire sage able to co here and work on improving the flow of fire mana? Where were there not other intelligent races who were strong enough to assist with the violent manas here?
These few questions kept Walker's focus while he and Rey t the others who had spotted the distant growing forest of pure fla bamboo.
He also wondered why the fire king couldn't use their will here. They were the will of the greater fire elental planes embodied, so wouldn't they sense the dangerous mana and the fact that it was centered around a monster and a unique material all at the sa ti?
It felt that the party was now being brought through to do more than et races or anything else. Instead, that the party being present within the elental planes was a way for them to be able to improve the dangerous conditions brought on by the origin beings bringing more elental planes to the greater elental planes.
Like the party would be the balancing factor keeping the elental plane from collapsing or becoming chaotic in nature. Preventing them from clashing due to these changes and preventing a war from happening again. All of these thoughts were swimming in Walker's mind and Rey could clearly see that he was focusing on them constantly. He didn't even greet everyone when they had t up leaving Rey to describe the fight and the gains.
When Alice practically threw her body in to Walker's to force him to snap out of his thoughts, he realized that she had even used her elbow to jab in to his side. He blinked a few tis in surprise before he looked at Reye too.
"What? You weren't listening to Alice either so I told her to teach you a lesson. She did." Rey completely ignored Walker's gaze while Alice stood in front of him even more waiting for him to speak up. It seed that he couldn't say much of anything in response right now.
"I was thinking about what we are doing in the elental planes. We want to explore and et races. Instead, Rey and I just solved the problem of violent and hard to control fire mana in a new party of the fire elental plane. I feel that we might be used a little. That we are being heroes to more than the people of Genesis and the world and will be pushed to combat dangerous new elental planes to balance them. Where we want to see new things and et new people."
The worries that Walker had were valid. They couldn't be argued either, it did seem this way.
The thing was, would they just leave the problems alone if they found them? No way, how could they? But was it fair for them to wonder if they were just assud to be the solution?
If they were cooperating with one another and not potentially missing information, then it would be better. It would feel like they were part of the solution and effort to ensure a better future. Not how they could feel now…
"I think we should have a talk with the true fire sage. Since now he can co here." One theory caught Walker as he looked up and felt the mana shifting abnormally. It was a perk of being more sensitive. Also since he had been in the denser fire mana area, he had managed to catch on to the natural ways fire mana might and should move within the fire elental plane.
"I did not expect you would sense my fire." The golem made of fire mana was a bit unsteady. It was clear that there was a separation in the ways that the true fire sage could control mana here to make a golem from whatever distance they were away from it.
"Well, your golems are made very differently when the manas around you are out of your control. I assu the sa would be for the Fire King too when it cos to the violent and new fire elental mana planes." He looked over calmly.
The true fire sage seed about to speak but Walker had continued. "These smaller elental planes. They are separate and not united yet. I would guess they could develop their own forms of control in so way too if they never acclimate and unite. But that's why you and the fire king couldn't co to handle things and why you didn't push for others to co here. It could harm them and the balance if done wrong."
"So, do the true sages and elental kings expect us to travel to handle these new elental planes? Or are we actually free to travel and grow? Are we free to learn of every elental plane so that we can bring more to our people of the world?"
There was a slight flicker in the way that the flas loved making up the golem showing that the true fire sage had not expected this response. That there was a little truth to the things Walker had just brought up.
"We are all bound to our elental plane. These new ones joining the whole are not part of the flow we have held for generations of races and monsters living here. When they co, the higher beings settle the greatest of dangers, but that does not an nature can't take its course."
"Dangers and new beings must appear to spur growth. We must handle that in the best ways we can. If we cannot access it, we could send others to their death and solve it worsen the problem."
"You, of the world." The true fire sage gestured to everyone, "can involve yourselves and and help maintain the balance because you grew in the balance of the world. You see things outside of our perceptions."
"We hope you can help keep the balance and we will ask of your help while we also offer what you need to learn or desire to learn."
Humbled. It seed that was the best word to describe the true fire sage at the mont.
It was a few monts before the true fire sage spoke. "We wished for you to see a more balanced version of our hos. A great deal has changed. The flas are calm here now because of your assistance, it would have been many years before change was able to co to this area. Thank you."
Now the rest of the sorry relaxed. They felt that they were being treated more like equals. The true fire sages' golem he used to speak with them also appeared to be more reserved due to the show of respect toward them.
"If I am here to explore and learn more to bring back ho, then that's what I'll do. If there's more fire elental planes added in that are all violent and ssed up, I'll fight whatever I have to, but whatever I find in there will be mine." Rey didn't dance around the problems. She flat out said what she wanted as a price for helping to.
"I would agree with Rey, we are here and have welcod others without requirents or paynt in to the world. If we treat this like Walker
Does with his quest granting skill then we are currently given optional side quests with the items we find as benefits."
With Su placing things out logically, there wasn't going to be any issue.
"That's fair. We would not halt you from gaining what you and your people need to grow closer to the elental planes. We know your envoys will be coming soon, we are preparing safety for them." This was A good thing to know, however, there was a little unease left.
"I think we should also make eting each elental king a priority. Is that possible?" Gil didn't hesitate to bring his own concerns.
"You will be welco to et the fire king. At the current mont they are split between several warring races to diate. One portion of his mind and body can form to et you properly." It was odd to think that there were beings that could split themselves apart to handle things across vast distances, but this was the embodint of an entire elental plane.
"Then we will follow you. I also know that Midnight would like the chance to et another dragon, if there is one on the way there. Onyx is also interested in enhancing his fire resistance to help the younger serpents who co…" Walker began chatting a little more openly.
This seed to be better as the true fire sage opened up and so of the fiery attitude returned showing the deep connection with fire as a whole.
