"My craft is sowhat different from those you may read about. My journal is locked and will stay that way until soone with the right talent can unlock it. This however, should serve you well from what that seer has gone around saying. A ring of spatial storage made with my own arcane space runes. It can be passed down to those who share your blood later as well. Make sure it has a future."
Walker read the note and felt like he was looking at sothing a little more unique than just so spatial storage item that might be possible to replicate. This ring was glimring silver because of the unique alloy it was made of, but the spatial mana holding on to it was where the glint truly ca from. Even those without the sense to notice spatial mana would catch it.
"So that's why there is a whole shelf with locked books here. These must be people who didn't want to pass their legacy on to anyone who couldn't actually learn it properly." Rey pulled a few books off and noticed between the locks and the rune formations so had wax or other materials sealing them in so way, shape, or form.
'Silver space ring
This ring was created by a very talented spatial rune crafter. They are creations made to last very short tis and mostly would be considered impossible to make without the right materials and crafter. However, this ring was made with materials impossible to find today with the best of the best skill to offer. It will last for multiple generations as long as the ring is provided with mana and care from the ones bonded to it.
When placed on the finger, if the user possesses a spatial skill, the skill will rge with the ring causing an enhancent effect on the skill rather than just opening the ring's spatial storage ability. This cos with the fact that it can also slightly assist in the awakening of a weaker spatial storage skill in the long term.
This ring is made with a blood line rune formation carved by a blood rune smith. This allows the ring to only be usable by those of the bonded bloodline. It is also why this ring is useless to others that are not of the selected bloodline.
The mont that this ring was touched by the true hero Walker, it bonded with his bloodline and will be so until the ring is destroyed or entirely fused with a being through unique ans…'
Walker saw other details about the small boost to his spatial skills. But he was more shocked that the ring had been left here and perfectly preserved. The amount of rune formations layered on this rung alone was enough to make it considered a relic worth studying. Yet, no one could do so since it was bound to him which would an they couldn't test the effects and functions without him.
"So, how much did it affect your multi dinsional storage skill?" Gil asked what everyone wondered. They sort of expected Walker to end up with the ring since it seed to have been left for him. Maybe because of this ti mage's ability to see the future or it might have been the fact that the one who crafted it just wanted to be a little more unique and leave sothing behind as well.
Closing his eyes to focus his senses while he wore the plain silver ring, Walker felt the changes.
While not major, he sensed that the movent of spatial mana was smoother. Like it was more part of him than it had been just a mont before. Or maybe it was better to say that it just resonated with him a little clearer.
In terms of his storages he made, all the elental ones seed to hold the elental mana better allowing for what was stored within to better hold its value and quality. This would be good for the long term usage and transport of specific goods.
Yet, he had many changes to his multi dinsional storage since the remnants had lded with the moving high dinsional storage he possessed. He had that storage that could foster so growth in herbs which he had expected to turn in to a potential herb garden if he kept pushing. But with the additional herbs, mana, and other aspects of what was left over from that fairy dragon haven space, he noticed he had actually achieved sothing like that.
With the ring's influence, that storage space seed to lock together like a puzzle coming together. A space that took in the mana it needed and showed results he hadn't even noticed growing.
Whether it was the mana added or it was the very space working with his subconscious, Walker didn't know. He just realized that more elental manas, life mana, death mana, space mana, and ti mana dwelled within than he had intentionally pushed to move inside that space.
It was sowhat wondrous having such a close feeling to it. Like he was looking at a reflection of his own desires in so part too.
"It made things clearer. I can feel and sense it much more clearerly. It also enhanced the remnant space that joined the space I made with ti mana influencing it. Now it's more like a small garden the size of a bedroom. But it seems able to expand if I offer it the right manas and focus. I need ti to study it…"
Raised eyebrows on everyone's face proved that they understood Walker was actually achieving more than just his goal in growth in terms of space and ti magic. He was quite literally doing sothing that would be valuable for more than just Genesis. So, it was good news to celebrate a bit.
However, there were still books that had to be stored along with a few tools and items left to await them when it was ti to be rembered.
"We have to bring everything back to docunt and study. We should also check on what new things might have been found. So Walker can use his teleporting skills to push us back to camp faster. Then we can use the teleportation formation and head ho to sleep in real beds before we start bringing people back and forth, right?" Su and Rey were clearly not asking a question. They were making it clear that this was the plan no matter what anyone else said.
Just like Gil, Walker nodded along supporting them too. When they saw Alice join the two girls, they both realized that it was definitely not up for argunts or debate. They were heading back to so normal comfort since it would just be better.
Not to ntion everyone had responsibilities. Exploring here should be the focus for those who would be growing.
Leaving felt like it was too soon, but people would co to this safe haven to rest for years to co. All the effort that was put in to make this place last and grow in to a safe place was paying off. Years and years later this was sowhere people would see as the best goal to reach in their travels before heading deeper in to the unknown.
Moving through the areas they traveled faster than before, everyone grasped that Walker was only using space mana sparingly. Like he was trying to let them all experience the wind buff more than anything. Not that their movent speed was slow. They were dashing rapidly with Midnight taking the lead because she was able to react quickly to any threats that might be in front of them.
Not that they found any. Instead, they found a scouting group from the main camp first.
The group was only a handful of scouts but they appeared to have found a good number of places worth studying. Monster nests and dens being so of the most noteworthy. That didn't an they didn't mark so places herbs grew or unknown plants grew. That would be a good list of places to explore.
What they did make a point to say was that the party would be needed to check in on a more pressing discovery. An area of flat stone that seed to be covered in rune formations all revolving around earth mana. Sothing that made everyone's minds go to the ancient earth mages sealing ancient monsters.
They had already found the ruins of the ancient earth magic tower. So what else could it be other than a sealed area with whatever bodies of monsters left inside or even dormant monsters themselves.
If anyone needed to go to check for safety, it would be the party. They could combat whatever was there or make proper instructions for those already guarding or exploring the direct area. This was enough to push everyone to get back to camp that much quicker.
