"What about these guards? We can train them as well." Su was looking up and down at several battle alchemists who had been working with Rey.
Between the two of them they finished their previous task and several others. This is what has brought Rey back to the alchemy guild and Su with her. It actually seed that they were able to make a lot more progress together enjoying themselves than if they were alone. It had been a while since the two had their ti alone.
It was just unfortunate that Alma had to go back to her own office and handle paperwork before Rey had joined back up with them. Alma had to work hard though, and once Gil returned he would be stuck with so paperwork letting Alma handle more important tasks that needed a leading representative of the elves.
"You really want to drag out so battle alchemists to fight and train to beco guards?" Rey was looking at Su like she was crazy.
"They need to stay here to train their alchemy skills. They also have already fought monsters a bit here and there. They work perfectly as supporting mbers in a group. They can give poisons for coating weapons, explosive potions for causing chaos, and even healing potions to help their comrades. They already have enough training to work where they need to work." This was Rey's opinion on the matter.
She knew very well that she had not used the battle side of her alchemy skill since she mostly mixed the ability to manipulate flas and enhancents from potions to push her brawler style further. Not to ntion the draconic abilities she used since her race had changed. That was the primary focus for her and it worked well.
"What if they are guarding herb locations that can't be fard? There are plenty of places in nature that have herbs we can't grow yet. The herbalists that live around them could use help, and battle alchemists would serve research purposes and also be able to help with the health of the herbs too." Su's point wasn't bad, but it wasn't perfect.
"There are already guards trained for that that you trained who have shield skills you helped them develop. Plus, these battle alchemists are better for…" Rey hesitated as she saw a glint in one of the battle alchemist's eyes. "What are you thinking that you seem so interested in?" to the battle alchemist this was fairly terrifying since Rey showed a lot more seriousness and force in her words.
"I would like to train myself more. I didn't beco an adventurer because I was gifted with alchemy talent so I learned. But I can fight now so I want to be able to fight more and find a place for my skills to help more people." It sounded very upstanding, but Re also noticed the slight tightening of muscles, it was anticipation.
"Fine, you can train with Su and let know if you feel that way after elental resistance training, physical resistance training, and then battle training." Her grin was sowhat evil but Su understood well that Rey was openly challenging the battle alchemist to see if they would rise to their own words.
"I would like to train with the natural alchemists. I want to be able to walk through a forest and see food and salvation in the plants like they do!" The shaky but confident shout ca from another, it seed that Rey had been missing a few things.
"We should start an application program. To be able to venture to other guilds and places to train skills. It could be considered part of their natural training to make them more valuable within the guild." Rey humd a bit as she stretched and walked over to the battle alchemist who blurted out their own desires. "You can do that. Fill out a piece of paper and explain why and what you will gain. Then submit it for filing. You can train with the echidna in the wilderness of the elven forest."
Su gave Rey an, I told you so, look causing her to frown but soon, this situation gave light to a few other alchemists who might wish to diversify themselves. It was sothing important to look in to. Sothing that had inadvertently begun rumors of different ways to explore and grow for every guild.
By the end of the day, many people from the crafting guild and the adventurer's guild were requesting more classes and tis to study within different guilds. One crafter wished to be able to learn from the alchemy guild so that they might be able to create crafted tal weapons using herbs. Maybe a poisoned tal sword that always had so poison within or a healing stave that carried the essence of healing herbs to make a healer better.
These ideas were fuel for those who felt like they were not in the perfect place to grow their skills. Or, it encouraged those who felt like they might need to get themselves out of a rut. So many people had been grinding for improvent, the determination beginning to wane for them as they hit hurdles they must overco.
These opportunities were small but powerful chances to be able to take the next steps beyond where they currently stood.
"Alice!" The shout ca from the opposite side of a small cabin, sowhere that Alma had built for escaping now and then in the future.
It was within the edge of the forest where the elves lived but kept hidden enough that no unwelco visitors could co. Walker had gladly accepted the idea of a place away from others to spend his ti with just Alice and no one else.
Of course, even Fleur had ended up leaving to handle her own things. Plus Aurora had been left with Onyx who was working on his own tasks. Leaving Alice and Walker truly and properly alone with one another.
It had been a few days of enjoying one another's bond strengthening it, but quickly the two found themselves looking for things to do.
It led them to an interesting situation where Walker began improving his spatial skill trying to create another skill like the portable forge and even the portable alchemy lab he'd managed to learn.
In this case, Alice had asked him if he could try to create a portable healing ward or doctor's office. The ices had been so she could utilize tools and healing items more easily when she wished to reserve her mana. She also enjoyed working with him to create a skill together that would help more people whether she was the one utilizing it or Walker was.
"I think it's working. We already had your first aid kits, the surgical tools for stitches, cutting, and stopping brutal wounds. We just need to imagine the look of the place we are making. The extra materials for building in my main spatial storage should be used up to make it."
Compared to the forge and alchemy lab skills, this would be a wholly encompassed room in spatial storage. Not an open air lab and forge that people could walk in and out of with the fact that there were no walls to be seen.
"It will be clean and smooth. It has to be comfortable and relaxing. It should feel like being at ho in bed but safe and clean for health and recovery." These qualities would focus on the ntal aspects of healing. Relaxing soone in pain was sothing Alice knew well, it was a skill she worked hard to develop.
"And it had to be stable so nothing shakes or moves when you are focused on healing delicate wounds or weaker people." The two leaned together allowing their ideas to flow.
Whether they realized it or not, the new bond in marriage was greater than they let themselves understand. They had pledged all that they were to one another allowing the world and existence to accept them as a unified couple destined to live out generations.
Their bonding after that ceremony had further deepened themselves allowing them to sense one another in new ways. Right now their resonance in goals was more akin to two master craftsn feeling the quality of skill and reacting to it to develop greater aspects.
'The resonance skill: portable healing ward, had been created. This skill is shared between the saintess Alice and the true hero Walker. This skill had consud more materials to be created due to the will of those with the bind to create this skill.'
They felt their mana be absorbed and Walker realized many elental crystals and a few mana gems along with other materials disappear from his high spatial storage. At the sa ti both of them sensed a new skill and space settle in their senses and souls.
