"Walker?" Hearing the familiar sweet voice, Walker stopped in his walk and smiled.

"Alice, weren’t you very busy with training so new fla healers? I thought you would be with them for the next week or so." Walker did his best to keep an ear out for when and what Alice was doing. He didn’t want to bother her and he wanted to keep so privacy in her life. So he wouldn’t push to know it all, but as anyone would, he cared.

"I sent them to train their resistances. Ignus volunteered an elder of his to assist them. Their fire may burn them while they heal and purify the injured. It’s a cost to their stronger skills. We are finding more situations like this as people are more powerful and focused."

The tone that Alice had this was a worry that she had and may be one of the reasons that she had co to find Walker while he was heading back toward the academy grounds to see if he could be useful.

"If I rember, the dark healers have to worry about the decay from dark mana affecting them. They can break down a poison or venom in the body stopping it from harming soone." This was an interesting way to use dark mana since healing with it was rarer due to the control and focus needed to use it.

"That was a problem but they learned to train their mana with so of the echidna nature walkers. They understand the natural flow of decay and how to protect themselves from it." The smile that followed showed that the hope Alice had for the new and powerful healers would only grow as they trained themselves well.

"I hoped you might help with a few of the other problems we have. You learned and helped bring the dwarven dical studies to healing in the cathedral helping them co together. But we have so new classes that focus just on that, I want your advice."

Walker slowed his walking pace and hooked her arm so that they could walk together. He felt that it was also that Alice wanted to make sure she could see him today that she ca to him for advice rather than so of the older priests or nuns in the cathedral. He didn’t mind spending more ti with his wife whatsoever. It was a welco surprise.

"What’s causing problems?"

Alice took a deep breath then spoke a little too quickly since she had a lot to say about it.

"The classes called evaluation doctor, army doctor, surgeon, baby delivery specialist, and even end of life support doctor have all been sothing we can’t properly classify. They don’t have the sa healing skills as either class from the dical side or the magical side. They are mixed and very focused on certain situations."

"The army doctor has to be with soldiers and guards, they can only gain experience when they are healing and helping those people. Or if there is a war going on, they can gain a lot of experience. Then the baby delivery specialist needs to deliver babies and we just can’t find enough people to pass down their knowledge to them. Every race doesn’t have people that specialize in that and Genesis needs them."

"I have no idea how to help the surgeon since they need to operate on people. Literally cut them open and repair their bodies from within before healing is applied. They can help with severe bone breaks or organ damage allowing for a long healing process to be safer, but their skills start more risk. It worries if many of them appear."

It sounded like the healing field was expanding rapidly and presenting more issues that would require new ways of teaching. New ways that had to keep adapting to the people who might not use mana to help people heal or that might struggle with their mana in healing people.

The fact that the stronger and more specific healing classes could have their own mana harm them, or would require specific actions to gain experience, was interesting. It presented so unique challenges for any leader trying to get these healers of all forms in to their best hos to help people. Especially since so might not be preferred over others and so might not be able to help in the sa ways.

"I believe you should look at the academy. I know so healing areas are already made there and the healers that go there will work with the cathedral specifically. But, what if the cathedral sponsored so healing research for all these different classes appearing now. Give them the chance to docunt their skills, how they learn more, how they can pursue a better future for themselves and others like them."

He looked at her and saw that she was following along and considering it. "I think the goal should be to learn with them and have them sharing their knowledge while Genesis adapts. There are different races who need different care. We already need healers in general to share what they know to make sure everyone together is healthy and safe, why not make students do the sa so they grow up sharing and improving."

This was a big focus for a lot of the leaders on the Genesis Council. So people believed secrets would enhance their own people while also making certain aspects of classes more valuable.

Where that failed was in the growth of those classes. It made a wall of secrets that stopped improvent.

Therefore, the ntality adopted by the leaders of Genesis ca to be that everything should be shared to improve everyone. Following that, the cathedral could improve a lot more in a shorter amount of ti.

"There are also the healers that will charge a few coins to the general public for basic evaluations and minor injuries. That helps the cathedral pay for the higher education and strong healers right? Put so of that toward studying classes and adapting people to their best place to help and grow."

Now Alice nodded along. She saw how this could work and how it could begin to offer solutions to the cathedral in terms of how to help these new classes. Especially those who might need diversity in their knowledge. For the expert in delivering babies, they would need to speak to those of many races to make sure they could help everyone. So this plan of action was exactly what was needed.

It also kept an example that the cathedral was there to help. It would solidify their foundational thinking so that the public and their own mbers kept faith in them.

"That’s a good way to go about it. This way we can also send more of the specialized healers to train with people who know how to manipulate mana safely." she leaned in to Walker and squeezed his arm. From what he could tell, she was also a bit tired, taking ti to walk like this and simplify thinking. Let him co up with so ideas while her mind rests.

"I also want to let you know that I may need to take so ti away from the cathedral. I am planning to plan an expedition for a hundred healers to visit villages in different territories." This raised Walker’s eyebrows as he didn’t realize that Alice was hand picking a larger group of healers to venture out and help villages again.

"Many people have rebuilt their villages or are building their own. I worry about them, so I am doing sothing now." She knew that so people couldn’t travel fast enough or get healers fast enough to be able to get the healing they needed.

This would always be the case as people ventured in to the world. Any number of situations could halt soone from getting the healing that they needed when they needed it. So, they would perish or be left with lasting injuries. Solving that issues could be as simple as her setting up expeditions or pilgrimages around territories with new villages being built or expanded in to towns.

"That’s a great idea. I hope that you can be left alone to focus on that planning. I will help if you need it." Walker said this, but he felt that alice had already decided to take this on by herself. Letting him know was because she knew that the healers might co to him for the other party mbers, like Su, if they needed anything.

"It will be perfect and there will be a lot for people to learn." Her bright attitude made it feel like there was no other way. "I will also speak to those working on gold storage for the academy plans too. Thank you for letting bounce ideas off of you." Walker escorted Alice back to the cathedral, all the while chatting more and more.
