The ways that Walker used healing magic like it was nothing to him and then kept making sure he absorbed and kept the remnants mana she used under control were shocking. To the rcenaries, it was one shock after another. Especially when he started to show off a little more elental mana manipulation.

None of them had even seen so of the manas he had used. They had heard of the other elental planes but they hadn’t been near all of them or seen the borders of them before. This was fairly normal for what many of those who lived within the elental planes might experience.

What Walker didn’t say out loud was that his usage of various manas was to judge the effects that they might have on the rcenaries.

He observed so of them unconsciously back away knowing that those manas would cause them harm, however, more than just a few of them were unmoved. This proved that they were able to resist those manas to so degree, especially when he showed more concentrated forms of those manas.

It was all due to the natural mana that dwelled within him. He knew that he could try and call on Fleur to help, but she had actually left his body for a while to work with the other mbers of the spirit race.

It seed that she would be busy following the will of the world and assisting the newer mbers of the spirit race as they appeared. So many more were growing from the elental spirits as they took form and pursued strength in the purer manas that were within the world.

That presented an interesting growth within the spirit race as a whole. Regardless though, Walker didn’t need her help to split the natural mana he stored within his body in to singular elental manas. Nor did that an he needed her help to mix them in balance again.

It did show that he was not as accustod to storing it in the sa density though. When Fleur was with him he could carry more condensed and potent natural mana than what he held now. He made a small ntal note to train a little more without her, but he did not stress himself too much about it.

Moving with the rcenaries beca faster as he biffed them with skills related to light mana. He was sure he could use life mana or other forms of mana to buff everyone, but tried to show off that he was versed in light affinity buff.

He had realized that many of the buffing skills he had learned would be influenced by the mana used to activate them. Most were simple and wouldn’t even be known to have those relationships with specific manas if they were not studied as much now. But he knew that using light mana for a purification skill was generally more effective than other forms of mana. Therefore, the sa for a speed boosting buff using light mana.

As much as many might forget, light mana was very quick. It only proved that there was more speed that could be gained when using light mana in a buff too.

Otherwise, the area that they all moved through quickly showed signs of being fard and traveled. It was a wonder how the environnt and the so-called garden could exist peacefully within such a close area to this village.

Even the village itself seed closer to the size of a larger town, but that wasn’t sothing he kept his thoughts on.

The sapphire eyed race who was one of the core leaders of the light sworn rcenary group had started chatting again.

"This village was able to hire us by offering light ingots. Several of these ingots have forged iron, copper, steel, and even so obsidian tal. All with different forms of light mana in them that we need to make the next batch of equipnt or weapons we need to take on larger jobs." This made enough sense to Walker.

rcenary groups would often work for more than just gold coins. They would work for materials they needed to keep growing and working until they could beco an even larger group or powerful group.

"I take it this village focuses on the light affinity tals then?"

"Yes, they have various ore masters who can even purify the mana from a tal ore and add light affinity. It takes weeks, but it is a skill that makes them very well protected. They are able to hire anyone they need and do not waste their ti on following orders or growing armies. That is why we work for them over others who would pay more. They do not have strings attached to their jobs."

And this was the other reason that Walker was glad to hear. Being able to say that the rcenaries here were smart with the jobs they took went all that much further with him. He wouldn’t wish to introduce them to Genesis if they made constant foolish choices or got themselves in to trouble with bigger groups or races.

As Walker looked at the walls, he could tell that they were made of a unique wood. The light affinity within them was strong enough to pull light around them making a natural shielding. But furthermore, he saw hamr marks closer to how tal would be shaped by a forging hamr rather than a wood.

’Forged light wood wall

This wall is a very unique protective wall that absorbs ambient light mana and creates a shield. It is only made by one village within the light elental planes right now because the skill is highly protected.

While the skill to forge wood is rare, the light replacent wood forging technique is entirely unique to this village. Therefore, this wooden wall being seven tis tougher than any other tal wall is just a part of the results of this technique...’

"I can see the details well. I will have to speak with them. I have a blacksmith friend who wanders the world looking for amazing techniques and forging thods like this. It’s an advanced version of crafting to replace mana within a material. I have seen that before, but forging wood and replacing mana affinity at the sa ti? Now that’s impressive."

The praise seed to warm up many of the rcenaries to Walker. They all liked their equipnt that ca from here. If he did not show respect or praise for it, then they would not wish to worry about him any longer. It was just a point of pride for them.

When they neared the wall, a section fell and a drawbridge style walkway was opened. Those who moved it were sharper looking beings covered in even sharper looking tal armor that glead with various light mana. It appeared that the guards here were entirely built on the premise of being defensive.

’Light diamond race

This is a race of people who grow from the condensed mineral form of light. Because of this, they have very long lifespans and could even be called related to golems. However, they have high intelligence when it cos to learning light mana manipulation. Due to this they are unable to travel too far from the light affinity mines they are born in.

They are able to manipulate the light mana they use while forging to change the affinity of materials brought to them. Because of their inability to travel, they are often found to hire many others to bring them materials. This is why their value as a race is so high.

Many have attempted to learn their crafts, but they always find themselves at a loss...’

Walker didn’t even read more of the all around appraisal about this race. Their tall stature and their unique existence was all dwarfed by the fact that they could not travel anywhere due to their affinities and need for certain minerals that co from purer light mana. They could not travel the world.

But furthermore, they had such high skill sets because they all worked the sa ways. Together for everyone to be better and stronger in their forging. They built connections through their crafting and nothing more. They did not go to war with others. They just strengthened their skills.

"I must report to those who hired us. Please follow the rest of our squadron to the resting area. You were the one to heal the majority of them and deserve the respect they have to offer you." Walker saw a few showing bottles and knew that it was a unique light affinity wine, sothing that every race seed to develop in their own elental plane.

"I will speak more with you soon then. I wouldn’t mind trying a few brews that you and your soldiers discovered through your travels." His laugh started the whole group behind him laughing. They all lived today with his involvent so celebrating was easily the best route to take now!
