(Author’s POV)

’I need to have a talk with Wendy. I don’t want her to get involved and be caught up between werewolves. He may seem harmless, even innocuous, but I know how dangerous he and his world are," Myra thought as she followed Dion with her eyes.

Unconsciously, she was eyeballing his every single move. From the way he was interacting in the class to his body language. His talk, his walk, whether he was looking at her or Wendy. What expression he was making. Even his hand placent, the way his fingers were loosely interlinked with his elbows at his waist. She has been observing it all.

Andy again ca close to her, though he maintained a safe distance this ti, trying not to repeat what happened a few monts ago. He then said in a lower, raspy voice, "Are you also captivated by Dion Everests’s charm?"

Myra tilted her head to look at Andy and calmly replied, "I was just being attentive in his lecture. Why did you say that?"

"Nothing~ .... The way you were boring eyes at him, I thought~ ... Forget it," Andy muttered. He was in the middle of saying sothing when Wendy pulled Myra towards her and murmured in her ear, "Sis~ .... after the lecture, let’s go and greet Prof. Everests properly. Yesterday, I couldn’t introduce you to him properly."

Myra pursed her lips, then licked them lightly as she stated, her voice collected, "I don’t think that is a good idea. After all, Prof. Everests is here as a guest professor. He is a busy man. Let’s not disturb him, umm."

Although Wendy was eager to et him, she found her sister’s words reasonable. Actually, she wanted to ask Dion about Elio and whether he had landed safely or not.

After that, the class ran like clockwork, without any hitch. The students were not just enraptured by Dion’s looks or mannerisms. They were thoroughly impressed by his deep and extensive knowledge about the origins and histories behind various artworks and sculptures, not just the famous ones. But also, the low key ones. Everyone sitting in that class, whether they were from fine arts, or finance, or sports or engineering, they could tell that this guy was well and truly qualified to be invited as a guest lecturer.

As soon as the ti was up, Dion didn’t waste his as well as others’ ti and said his goodbyes, "Okay, class~ ... it is ti for the lecture to end."

The students all unanimously outcried, not wanting to end the class just yet. May even comnted, "For the first ti, I don’t want the lecture to end. LET’S EXTEND IT SO MORE."

Wendy looked at her and muttered, "Sa girl, sa. I wish we could extend it for so more ti. Aein! ... this isn’t fair. WE DON’T WANT THE CLASS TO END." She joined in with her classmates as well.

On the other hand, Myra was relieved. ’Finally, it is over. As soon as he steps out, I am going straight to my departnt,’ her internal monologue was at it again.

Dion chuckled and remarked, "I am glad you all liked my class. Although I lack experience, this is my first ti giving such a lecture, you see." He then clapped lightly and added, making a regretful and pitiful face, "But unfortunately~ .... I have a prior appointnt with soone very important and need to be there."

The way he said it made waves across the class, as soone dared to ask, "Prof., if you don’t mind, is it your girlfriend?" Everyone was anticipating his answer, boys, girls alike. For girls, they wanted to know whether the coast was clear or not. Although a guy like Dion, they expected him to have a lover. As for the boys, so of them were gay or bisexual, while the remaining were afraid because of their girlfriends.

Surprisingly, Myra’s ears perked up at this question as well. Her mind suddenly flashed with their riverside kiss in his secret place. But she quickly shook her head and dispersed this odd feeling.

In reply, Dion only gave them a sheepish smile and said, "Who knows~"

The crowd started hooting and cheering for him. He cald them down and continued, "Okay, okay~ .... Ti out, everybody. I know this is your trick for extending the class. But all good things had to end." Saying this, he flashed another one of his signature smiles and said, "Now you may all disperse."

He then grabbed his jet black coat jacket from the chair, which was now hung on his muscular arm and walked out casually.

As soon as he went out, the class erupted again, with chatter. From his Greek god like appearance to his muscular and veiny arms. From his dressing sense, how he was making a basic black suit and white shirt look like a fashion piece, to his deep rooted knowledge about the topic. They talked about everything. They were all gushing over him as they packed their bags and walked out of the lecture hall, one by one.

"Are you coming to the cafeteria with us?" Andy asked Myra.

Myra, who was in the middle of packing her stuff, stated without looking at him, "Sorry~ .... But I have a lecture coming up. I need to be there. But until next ti." With a polite smile, she said her bye and stepped out as well.

After getting out, she scanned everywhere, but Dion was nowhere to be seen. She exhaled a sigh and went on her way to the Finance Departnt building. On her way there, she kept on thinking about how everything had gone by so far. The chaotic days and ssy nights she has been experiencing ever since that Zenith Heights Mall incident. Every single thing played in her mind.

Myra was so deeply in her own world, thinking about whether Dion recognized her or not.

As Myra passed by a narrow alley absentmindedly, soone grabbed her hand and pulled her inside. A sharp yelp ca out of her mouth, but a hand covered her lips quickly to stop her from screaming more. She tightly closed her eyes as she muttered so incoherent words.

The other person said, their voice soothing as well as calming, "Hey~ .... calm down. It is just ."

Alarm bells started flaring in Myra’s head. Her eyes were now wide open as she looked at the familiar figure in front of her. She mumbled sothing, struggling to get out of the person’s hold, but failed.

"You promise you won’t scream, and I will let you go," the person suggested.

Myra’s eyes flickered as she shook her head like a wobbly figurine. The person let go of her mouth, but his other hand remained on her waist as they both stood in close proximity.

"We et again," the person remarked, a smile plastered on their lips.

’et again?’ Myra’s head spiralled at these words as she gulped down hard.

"Are you that shocked to see up close in person that you are so speechless?" the person asked.

"What do you an by et again? And may I know what you are trying to do here, Prof. Everests?" Myra tried to sound calm, but her words ca out cold and a bit edgy.

Dion chuckled and said, "Weren’t you just attending my class? I thought I saw you there. In the last row." His voice was casual.

Myra’s brows knitted together at his comnt as she tried to form so words to give him an apt reply. She then felt his hand on her lower back and the closeness of their bodies and said, "What you are doing here is inappropriate. Please, let go."

"Let you go?" Dion murmured his words filled with a tad bit of heaviness. "I will, only if you don’t run away."

Myra tilted her head and said, her voice stern, "What do you want from , Prof. Everests? Why did you pull here? What are you trying to do exactly? If soone sees us like this~ ..."

"Whoa~ whoa~ whoa~ ... hold on your horses, Miss. Just hold on," Dion stopped her words midway. "I don’t have any ulterior motive towards you. Actually, when I saw you in my class, I thought you resembled soone I know."

Myra’s fist clenched at his words as she tried to keep a straight face. She then stated, "It is still inappropriate to do sothing like this to a total stranger. Now, if you will let go. I have a lecture to attend."

Although he loosened his hold on her, but didn’t let her go completely as he said, "I am sorry for my actions. I guess I crossed a line, Miss. uhhh~ .... What should I address you as? Your good na, please?"

Myra felt a lump in her throat as she gulped again. With a strained voice, she said, "My na is Mira Bolton. And your apology isn’t accepted. I would like it if we never et again."

Saying her piece, she pulled herself away from Dion’s grip and ran out of the alley.
