(Author’s POV)
*Present Ti* *Back At The Hospital*
Fabian posed another question, "Did they reveal their identities? Did they say~ ... sothing to you?"
Everyone was anticipating Brave’s answer. Although Alaric had an inkling regarding who it could be. But, before taking any further action, he wanted to make sure.
Just at that mont, a knock on the door disturbed them. Without waiting for anyone’s reply, the next second, Elisa walked in, her walk elegant, her attitude unfazed. All the gazes in the room turned to look at the said person, and apart from Brave, others either had a puzzling expression or a bewildered one.
"The nurse told you all were here," she said, her tone extrely humble and ek.
With his brows arched like ocean waves, Fabian queried, "Elisa Queens~ .... what the~ ..." he held his tongue just in ti, rembering about his surroundings. Then he cleared his throat and corrected himself, "Secretary Queens, what are you doing at the hospital?" Though his tone remained even on the surface, inside his head, countless questions kept popping up, ’What the hell is she~ ... doing here? Before grandfather’s accident happened, she was nowhere to be found, so why has she appeared here now? What is she scheming?’
The trio of Alaric, Dion and Elio were dumbfounded to see her as well. They were, by no ans, expecting her presence at all.
"I~ ... I~ ..." Elisa’s face lowered as she feigned hesitation, making Fabian seem like a bully. Brave, pressing his lips, glanced at her glove concealed hands as he replied, "Uhh~ .... I guess~ .... I should answer that. Actually, what happened was that Secretary Queens witnessed the kidnapping incident and asked for my help to save Ms. Miracle. Mr. Miracle, Mrs. Miracle, if you have to thank soone, it should be Ms. Elisa Queens."
"Huhh?" Alaric and Dion were both flabbergasted to know.
’This cunning lady helped our mate? Really? Even if Brace is the one telling this, sohow, I can’t seem to believe,’ Alex was doubtful, very doubtful. He had always gotten off vibes from the likes of her. She had projected herself as one, so it wasn’t unreasonable on his part.
Sandra walked towards Elisa, her eyes welling up once again. Standing in front of her, she spoke, her voice breaking, "Yo~u ... are my daughter’s savior. I am indebted to you for life, Ms. Que~ens." She reached for Elisa’s hand, but as soon as she touched it, Elisa flinched as a sharp hiss ca out of her mouth, "Sssshhhh~ ...."
"Are you alright, Ms. Queens? Did I~ .... sohow~ .... hurt you?" Sandra beca concerned.
Brave went over to Elisa’s side and explained, "Ma’am, she had injured her hands at the ti of the rescue. So~ ...." He looked at her hands once again, which were now slightly trembling.
"Ohhh my heavens~ ...." Sandra’s hand covered her mouth, her eyes widened in disbelief.
"~ .... Mr. Everests, it’s nothing serious. I did what was right in that mont," Elisa said, her tone filled with feigned dignity and pride. She then shifted her attention back to Sandra and mumbled, "Mrs. Miracle, I am just glad that I could help Ms. Miracle in so way."
Dion observed her body language with a careful eye. Truthfully, there was nothing that was out of place. She looked genuine with her answer. ’What’s with her? Did she really play the part of a Good Samaritan?’
Elio thought the sa thing as his brother. He always took Elisa as nothing, just a flirt. After all, most of the ti she was trying to get chummy with him and his brothers and took her as a re opportunist and an attention seeker. But this ti, he thought, his understanding might go wrong. She saved Myra, and that ant a lot to him. He was instantly guilt stricken.
"Not everyone has the courage to do what you did," William spoke, his tone full of profound gratefulness. "Thank you so much. Not just my wife, but I am as well, indebted to you, Ms. Queens. How could we repay you?"
"Re~pay? Ohhh~ ... no, no. You don’t have to, Mr. Miracle. I just did the right thing," Elisa declined imdiately, though her inner monologue kicked in, ’Hahhh~ .... Of course, you don’t have to~ ... not right now. But when it is ti~ .... when it’s ti, I will get the debt from you two, with interest.’ She lowered her head, a vicious, devil like smile gracing her lips.

"Sis, I asked them to put cinnamon in your por~rid~ge~ ...." Wendy sauntered inside Myra’s room, her voice chirpy like a bird. But as soon as she saw the person sitting with her sister, her jaw was ready to drop on the floor. She couldn’t help but shout in utter shock and disbelief, "OHH~ ... MY~ ... GOSHHH~ ...." Her mouth hung open. "Are my eyes playing a trick on ~ .... or is~ ... is sis Nora really in front of ?" Her unique reaction gave Myra as well as Nora a near fright.
Nora waved her hand, "Hi, Wendy~ ..."
"HOLY MOLY~ .... Sister Nora," Wendy walked towards her with a spring in her steps. "How long has it been~ ... since I last saw you, huhh? Where have you been?" As she ca face to face with Nora, she looked at her from top to bottom and remarked, "You look sooooo~ .... different. So, beautiful~ ... I an, you were a beauty before as well, but~ .... umm~ ...." She scratched her head awkwardly, tangling her tongue.
Nora chuckled at her exaggerated reaction. It was a classic Wendy antics, "Well, thank you~ ... for the complint, I guess," she spoke. "You are looking good as well." She ruffled Wendy’s head, just like old tis.
"But~ ... what are you doing in Esteria? Your bio family~ .... they are from Kimberg, hmm?" Wendy asked.
"I~ ... ca to visit soone in Esteria with my brothers," Nora told her.
"Oh~ ... sis did tell about your brothers. So~ .... where are they? Did they co with you?" Wendy inquired.
"Ahhaa~ ... they all are here as well," Nora said. "I will call them."
