"Gunnar~ ... good that you are already here. I was just about to give you a call," Fabian spoke. He was in high spirits, thinking about tomorrow’s plan. "I need you to prepare sothing."
"Young master, I have been waiting for you," Gunnar said, sounding urgent.
"What is it? Why do you sound off? Did sothing happen to Grand ~ .... Chairman Larson?" Fabian’s tone shifted drastically as he started rushing towards the mansion. But Gunnar’s next words stopped him in his tracks, "No, his majesty~ ... it’s not about him. It’s about Ms. Miracle."
Fabian imdiately snapped back to look at him, his brows wrinkled together, his face expressing confusion, "Myra~ ... what about her?" ’Just an hour ago, I was with her. She must be at her ho. So, what’s making Gunnar sound so out of place?
"First of all, you need to see this~ .... then you’ll understand," Gunnar played the video. Throughout the span of the clip, Fabian’s facial expressions kept changing like a chaleon, from perplexed to frustrated and finally to angry. He grabbed the phone and spat, fuming, THIS SON OF A ROTTEN BASTARD~ ... what is he trying to do now?"
"Young master, this was posted on the university forum around fifteen minutes ago. But apart from that~ .... it has spread all over the internet. Several hashtags are trending regarding this matter as well," Gunnar added, explaining as well as showing him everything, one by one.
Actually, about three days ago, Fabian had given orders to Gunnar to find Nigel and his family and to bring them to him discreetly. But strangely enough, the Longs were nowhere to be found. Not at their villa, not the company or any of their relatives’ places, nowhere. It was as if they had vanished from the face of the earth. This did strike Fabian as weird, but he chalked it down to them hiding.
And now, all of a sudden, on the day of Myra’s discharge, a full blown apology cos out. Both of them found it rather odd. Fabian replayed the video; this ti, he observed Nigel’s slightly, almost negligible swollen face and the background in the video. Although it looked like a normal room, but the simple desk, modest bedding, worn off curtains told a different story.
You know, how loaded money bags like Nigel’s behave. They love to show off. For those who hadn’t worked a single day in their entire life, they would never agree to live in a humble place like that, even if they were dying. And knowing Nigel, he sure wouldn’t.
"Find out where he is and what this place is and report to in an hour," Fabian commanded. "On it," was Gunnar’s reply. He was briskly walking away when Fabian added, "Check whether the Everests are involved or not."

Elio, who was in the car, accompanying Sara, queried, ’Video, what video??’
Dion and Brave were together in the Larson mansion. They, too, exchanged puzzled glances, then Brave asked, ’What are you talking about, Nora?’
’The one uploaded on the Red Stone University official page,’ Nora said. ’Be honest with , did you do this, hmmm? Brother Dion?’ Her pendulum indicated him as he was the one investigating Myra’s matter.
Dion was on his phone, checking the video as he replied, ’I won’t do anything that Myra would oppose,’ his voice stern. ’Al, did you deal with that bratty human?’ He asked Alaric straightforwardly.
’No,’ was Alaric’s reply. ’As much as I would have loved to tear that filthy human apart, I didn’t,’ he thought.
’If it isn’t you, then who did it?’ Nora furrowed her brows even more.
’I know who it might be,’ Elio answered with a frown. ’This has to be a work of Fabian Stephens. Bro Al, do you rember when he ca out of Myra’s room, he kept on indicating sothing about a personal matter? Maybe it’s his doing.’
’I also think that~ ... seeing his influence and the way Jacob Larson trusts him. There is a high chance that he is involved,’ Brave added.

When they were all busy pointing fingers at each other, sowhere on the dark, lush green, dead silent road, a car was going at a steady speed. Slight drizzle had just started, the scent of earth wafting in the air.
"Sir, that Long family’s boy~ .... his apology video, it is making the rounds on the internet, as per your orders. It is trending in the first place on various social dia platforms," Chris inford, his voice steady, his eyes locked on the road ahead. "Their company, WLZ Entertainnt’s stocks are plumting at a great speed, and several of their investors have already started to withdraw from the company. It won’t take ti for them to go bankrupt."
Garry remained silent, his eyes as cold as ice as he glanced out of the window. Cool night breeze, carrying a bit of rain ca in. From the rearview mirror, Chris took a glance at his boss’s glacial expression and asked, "Sir, what should we do with ’them’ now?"
He finally spoke, his expression unchanged, his voice unreadable, "Release the boy."
"Huhh?" Chris clearly wasn’t expecting this, but then Garry added, "But~...." He stroked his chin, then added, "Keep his parents locked up, tight. Don’t give them any food, just water. Enough to keep them alive." He then clenched his hand, resting on his thigh, his voice bubbling with intensity, "Those two~ ... they dared to touch my people. I won’t let that slide. They need to pay for what they did to Myra. Cahooting with the vampires to torture her? Throw them in the dog’s den."
Licking his lips, Chris answered, "Yes, sir." He was aware of Garry’s temper, but this ruthless side still gave him the chills.

*Knock knock* "Myra~ .... we are coming in," Yelena’s voice ca from outside her room. The next second, the door handle twisted as Yelena stepped in, followed by Nora and finally Wendy.
Myra got up from the bed abruptly as Yelena asked, "You, okay?"
"Ummhmm~ ... absolutely," Myra replied, smiling faintly at all of them.
Wendy, who was holding a tray in her hand, said, "As you should be~ .... Sis, see what I brought for you~ ... late night snacks~ .... cup ran~ .... here, your favourite, extra spicy ones." She tried to lighten the mood.
Myra’s eyes lit up as she accepted it, "Just what I was craving for. Wends, you are the best."
All of them could tell Myra was pretending, but then didn’t call her out; instead, they joined in.
