Li Zheng knew the three tiger brothers were unreliable, but he never expected these two goofballs to be so unreliable. As soon as he returned to 950 Street, he was greeted with such a "spectacular" scene.

He took out two sets of clothes from the capsule and tossed them over, his face stern as he said, "Put them on, and then co with to the botanical garden."

"Yes!"

Hu Er and Hu San dared not act up. They obediently grabbed the clothes and quickly put them on.

Unfortunately, both of them were much more hulking than Li Zheng, and these clothes didn't fit. However, the material was decent enough to barely cover them, like two muscular bodybuilders wearing tight outfits, with hairy arms exposed and even their bellies out.

Their ridiculous appearance made passersby laugh.

Making a fool out of himself in front of Li Zheng was the last thing the three tiger brothers wanted, so they quickly lost their silly deanor, felt ashad, and lowered their heads.

Li Zheng gave them a bland glance, his eyes revealing an indescribable aning, and walked towards the Kang'er Botanical Garden without a word.

Mirel looked at these two fools with pity, shook her head, and said nothing more.

However, Mudala and Feng Yue, who were eting the tiger brothers for the first ti, were extrely curious about these two goofballs and couldn't understand why Li Zheng would recruit them as his underlings.

Hu Er and Hu San exchanged glances, seeing deep concern and extre regret in each other's eyes.

Knowing that the boss was returning today, how could they dare to make such a ss?

"We're done for!" Hu San despondently said.

"No! You're done for!" Hu Er said, "I went gambling to raise money for mom's dical treatnt, but you just wasted money at the brothel. We have different goals, don't lump with you!"

Hu San wasn't intimidated by his second brother's bluster and looked at him with disdain, "Second brother, do you think the boss is smarter or you're smarter?"

"Is that even a question?" Hu Er replied without hesitation, "The boss is definitely smarter! I... am slightly inferior!"

"So that's that, right?" Hu San said naively, "The boss is so smart, there's no way he can't catch your lies. Give up struggling, we're both done for!"

Hu Er was speechless and lowered his head in resignation.

The third brother was right. No matter how noble his excuses were, getting caught coming out of the casino by the boss was an unforgivable mistake.

The boss had made it clear more than once that he didn't like casinos, brothels, or opium dens.

They were committing a cri knowingly, breaking the law despite knowing it.

The group soon arrived at the Kang'er Botanical Garden. Previously, Li Zheng had registered his identity here, and it hadn't been deleted, so he opened the gate and went inside directly.

Kang'er happened to be busy in a greenhouse by the entrance and ca out to greet Li Zheng as soon as he saw him: "Sir, you're back."

His speech was unexpectedly in standard broadcaster-accented Mandarin, even using the honorific "您", indicating he had put in hard work learning it.

Li Zheng's expression softened slightly, and he asked, "Where's Kota? What has he been doing while I was away?"

"Sir," Kang'er glanced at the cowering Hu Er and Hu San behind them and instantly understood that these two idiots must have done sothing embarrassing and got caught by Li Zheng's return. He respectfully replied, "Kota went out to help buy saplings, judging by the ti, he should be back soon."

"Hmm."

Li Zheng nodded and then ignored him, walking inwards.

The greenhouse reserved for him before was still intact, but the adjacent one had been remodeled to plant a peculiar tree.

Kang'er ca up to Hu Er and Hu San and quietly asked, "Did you guys ss up again?"

"Well..." Hu Er was too embarrassed to speak.

Hu San said openly, "I went to find Xiaohua and got thrown out of the brothel; the boss happened to walk by and saw it."

Hu Er covered his face.

The third brother truly was lacking common sense, speaking of such matters with an air of inevitability.

"What about you?" Kang'er pointed at the clothes on Hu Er: "Did you lose everything at the casino again?"

Hu Er losing everything, even selling off his clothes, this wasn't the first ti Kang'er had seen it; he was used to it and could see it at a glance.

"Lose everything?!" Hu Er covered his face: "I just had a bit of bad luck, went through a rough patch. Besides, I went to raise money for my mom's dical bills. How is that gambling?"

"Ha!" Kang'er let out a cold laugh, the bark on his old face wrinkling up together: "I've long advised you to learn from Kota and work for here. I'd provide room, board, and wages, but you refused to listen. Now it's blown up in your faces, and the boss saw your ss; you're in big trouble, expect to be punished!"

"The boss is so benevolent; he shouldn't punish us too harshly, right?" Hu Er still held onto a glimr of hope.

Kang'er coldly chuckled, just about to say sothing when he heard Li Zheng calling over, so he left them with: "Harsh punishnt? If I were the boss, I would definitely punish you both severely! Be mindful of yourselves."

Kang'er left, and Hu San anxiously tugged at his second brother's clothes: "Second brother, we're completely dood!"

"Don't pull so hard; my pants are about to fall off!" Hu Er patted away his younger brother's hand, reassuring him, "The old tree man is just scaring us. He's not the boss, how would he know what the boss thinks? Don't worry, the boss is righteous and won't bear to punish us."

"Really?" Hu San looked at his second brother, thinking it sounded unreliable.

But he also hoped his second brother was right, that the boss genuinely wouldn't punish them too harshly.

If possible, Hu San thought it would be enough to let the boss beat him up to vent his anger, as long as he wasn't restricted in freedom and could go see Xiaohua. He'd do anything.

"Sir."

Kang'er ca to Li Zheng's side and saw him staring at the new order they had received. He couldn't help but be curious: "Is Sir interested in this tree?"

"Yes." Li Zheng asked: "Where is this tree from?"

"It was an order we received from a rchant in this district five days ago. They asked for help in cultivating this Ancient Cang Hun Tree, to speed up its growth." Kang'er stated truthfully, "Sir, you should know that my Vine Race's talent is communicating with various plants to understand their needs, enhancing crop quality or accelerating growth by fulfilling those needs. But this Ancient Cang Hun Tree is peculiar. In five days, I've attempted to communicate with it over thirty tis yet have been unable to connect."

"Ancient Cang Hun Tree?" Li Zheng repeated, asking, "Have you seen this type of tree before?"

"This is the first ti." Kang'er said: "The na 'Ancient Cang Hun Tree' was also given by that rchant. Sir, are you curious where this ancient tree ca from?"

Kang'er had lived many years, and his mind was insightful. Seeing Li Zheng's string of questions, he imdiately understood that Li Zheng was interested in this Ancient Cang Hun Tree.

"You know?" Li Zheng looked at him in surprise.

He was indeed interested in the "Ancient Cang Hun Tree" because upon seeing it, Prelis' Eye suddenly provided a prompt.

[Unknown tree species, similar effect to an ingredient in the Bone Marrow Cleansing Pill, perhaps could be used as a substitute.]
