"Who is this guy?"
The Black Bear Security realized he might have hit a hard wall. Who would have thought that this pauper who often ssed around at Fengxiao Hall actually knew soone he couldn't afford to offend?
Thinking of his earlier careless words, suggesting if the guy wanted to sell the two won beside him into the hall for a chance to see Sister Hua, he wished he could slap himself if his joints weren't dislocated.
Such words were fine for bullying paupers, but saying them in front of a big shot was a pure death wish, wasn't it?
The other person was generous enough not to imdiately kill him but just have his n teach him a lesson.
Li Zheng felt a bit disappointed when the situation didn't escalate. He waved at Feng Yue and said, "Reconnect his joints."
"Alright."
Feng Yue imdiately got to work, and after so cracking sounds, the Black Bear Security scrambled up from the ground, staring blankly at Li Zheng.
"What?" Li Zheng frowned, "Do you want to experience it again?"
The Black Bear didn't speak and suddenly turned around, puffing up his chest as he walked into Fengxiao Hall, shouting, "Where is everybody? The big boss is here, hurry up and co welco him? Sanhua, go bring your Sister Hua over to entertain! Everyone else, clear the hall for the big boss, we're giving him a private event today!"
Li Zheng: "..."
The quick shift in the Black Bear Security's mood and attitude was truly surprising.
This guy was genuinely arrogant, yet when he backed down, he did it without hesitation.
Li Zheng asked another Black Bear Security who hadn't spoken yet, "Is he always like this?"
"Uh, uh, uh..." That Black Bear Security gestured.
Turns out he was mute; no wonder he hadn't said a word till now.
"Alright, no need to explain." Li Zheng raised his hand to stop his gestures, hearing noisy commotion from inside Fengxiao Hall, and soon so scantily clad guests were driven out.
The Black Bear Security followed an orange-furred female cat humanoid and a mature woman with pale skin and heterochromatic eyes out, respectfully welcoming Li Zheng, "Welco, sir!"
At this mont, Li Zheng suddenly understood why the Black Bear Security, with such an arrogant personality, was still alive in the 950 District.
Once he realized he provoked soone he shouldn't have, he made ands imdiately. No matter what, he could ease the other person's displeasure, and perhaps if served well, he could gain a high-ranking guest instead.
"Xiaohua!" Hu San looked longingly at the orange cat who erged.
Li Zheng overheard Hu San's murmur and closely observed Xiaohua.
Clearly, Xiaohua was of the orange cat variety among cat humanoids, a type known for being...ahem, plump.
She wasn't tall, about a ter and a half, and her weight seed about the sa number.
But it seed the feline race had so natural advantages. Even though Xiaohua tended to be chubby, her waist was so slender it distorted her body proportions.
Her body was shaped almost like a gourd, with thick legs, a thin waist, and full bust, bobbing as she walked, heavyset.
Her looks were indistinguishable because, in Li Zheng's eyes, all cat faces looked pretty much the sa.
"..." Li Zheng ground his molars.
Hu San's taste in beauty was really sowhat...odd.
Was his taste so extre?
Is an orange cat really worth falling head over heels for to this extent?
And you're from the Tiger Race!
Even though both are felines, is there a need to be so infatuated with a cat?
"Are you Xiaohua?" Li Zheng asked her, "I have so questions for you, please answer honestly."
Before Xiaohua could react, the heterochromatic woman interjected, "Sir, why don't we continue inside? It's crowded and inconvenient here."
She gave Li Zheng a coquettish look, making Mirel's expression darken slightly.
Mudala scrutinized her carefully before looking at her with a mocking gaze.
For an average-looking woman to flirt with the master was really reckless.
"Sure." Li Zheng didn't want to disrupt others' business permanently, so he nodded after a brief consideration and led everyone inside.
The Porcupine Law Enforcent Officer, seeing they weren't having any major conflict, heaved a deep sigh of relief and called out to the onlookers, "Nothing to see here, what are you all hanging around for? Move on!"
He wouldn't even dare breathe loudly around Li Zheng for fear of provoking him, but towards these regular Outer City residents, he had no qualms showing an unfriendly deanor.
In front of Fengxiao Hall was a short hallway, wide enough for five or six people to walk side by side.
At the end, turning right, there was a counter with another heterochromatic woman standing behind it, sowhat resembling the one who ca out to greet Li Zheng and the others.
"There are seven of us, seven thousand White Crystal Coins?" Li Zheng took out his Inscription Card to make the transfer.
"What are you saying, sir?" The greeting heterochromatic woman stopped him, "It's an honor for us at Fengxiao Hall to have you visit, no way we're taking any Coins from you."
"Welco, sir!"
A large group gathered around, all females of various races, at least over fifty different races at a glance.
"Sanhua, have you prepared the private room as I asked?"
The Black Bear Security ran inside, shouting loudly.
The heterochromatic woman smiled and said, "Please wait a mont, sir, the private room will be ready shortly."
"No need." Li Zheng raised his hand, pointing at Xiaohua, "I'm just here to ask her so questions, no other purpose, let everyone go, don't need to work for nothing."
"How can that be?" The heterochromatic woman looked troubled, "If our boss finds out we didn't entertain you well, we'll likely be punished."
Actually, she still didn't know Li Zheng's exact identity, but she made so guesses from the Law Enforcent Team's attitude towards him.
"Do what the master says, no more talk!" Mudala stated coldly, already a bit impatient.
Especially when the fifty-plus females of various races gathered around, her impatience soared to the extre.
"This..." The heterochromatic woman looked at Mudala, amazed by her beauty, knowing those common floozies under her command weren't likely to catch the master's interest, so she nodded and instructed them to disperse and mind their own business.
Li Zheng no longer paid her attention and continued questioning Xiaohua, "I ask, you answer, understand?"
Xiaohua was surprised to find out the pauper she usually despised was linked to a big shot, and thoughts flickered in her mind as she softly nodded, "Yes, sir."
Her voice was soft and sweet, as if speaking from the throat.
Upon hearing this, Hu San shivered, showing a delighted expression as if his soul were about to lift, "Xiaohua's never spoken to so gently before."
Li Zheng pointed at Hu San and asked Xiaohua, "Do you know him?"
"Yes."
"How well do you know him?"
"Just an ordinary custor, not really well."
"Do you know he likes you?"
"I know, but I don't like penniless guys."
Hu San stood frozen, "Xiaohua..."
