The size and style of the room where Kato Junwa was staying were almost the sa as the first room Li Zheng entered on his first day, barely accommodating two capsule apartnts.

The three consecutive strange states caught Li Zheng’s attention. He took out the sheathed sword and held it in his hand, lightly tapping the closed door of the apartnt with the end of the long staff.

The crisp yet slightly muffled knocking sound spread throughout the whole room, and the atmosphere suddenly beca a bit oppressive.
"Who?"
Along with a sentence in Mud Furnace language, the door of the capsule apartnt opened a crack, revealing a bloodshot eye behind it.

"Kato Junwa? We’ve traded before; you should recognize , right?" Li Zheng imperceptibly took two steps back. No red-na player could be trusted, especially one who had killed more than one person.
"Li Zheng, of course I recognize you." Kato Junwa’s tone revealed a hint of nervousness, "What do you want from ?"
Li Zheng frowned even deeper because he saw that in the attributes given by Old Pu, Kato Junwa was marked as "extrely exhausted" in the state column.
If it were an ordinary person, after a whole day of Matrix exploration and staying up late without rest, they might feel exhausted.
But at this stage, almost all players had undergone so form of enhancent, not to ntion soone of Kato Junwa’s slight stature whose enhancents should be no less than those of the top fifty in the power rankings.
Why would he carry an exhaustion state?
Moreover, it’s a deeper "extre exhaustion."
Unless he hadn’t had a proper rest for two days.
Could it be that after dayti explorations, he had to organize intelligence gathered by others at night?
Li Zheng slowly opened his mouth: "Gonmon Left Side said you are his superior, managing several spies, and should possess a lot of intelligence unknown to him, right?"

"Is that so." Li Zheng nodded, seemingly accepting this answer, then asked, "In the past two nights, I’ve been attacked twice by sothing. I suspect it’s the work of a player; do you have any relevant intelligence?"
"At night? Player?" Kato Junwa repeated the key words, as if recalling the intelligence he had: "Could you describe the appearance of what attacked you?"
"It was too dark to see clearly, just that the opponent was fast and agile," Li Zheng said.
"Fast, agile." Kato Junwa repeated the key words again, hesitatingly said, "It should be Misaka Tsuchiemon from channel sixty-seven. I have a subordinate on that channel, who once let slip in the regional channel that he had obtained an item capable of summoning nightti creatures."

"In channel sixty-seven, he ranks third in the power rankings. It’s said they’re constantly searching for so special entity within that channel."
"I don’t know exactly what they’re looking for."
"But if you plan to confront him, be cautious. I’ve heard he’s a Sword Dao enthusiast from Earth, having studied under the Nihong Sword Dao master Yagyu Sword Master for five years, earning Yagyu’s favor."
Li Zheng listened intently, as if genuinely committing Kato Junwa’s intelligence to mory.
After Kato Junwa finished, he suddenly asked, "As spies, were you trained on how to lie most naturally when caught?"
"Lie? Caught?" Kato Junwa was taken aback, not understanding why Li Zheng asked this.
Li Zheng exemplified: "You see, if you’re caught while infiltrating and soone asks if you’re a spy, you’d definitely deny it, right?"
"So, if you deny it, you’d have to lie, right?"
"So, as spies, don’t you receive training on how to lie?"
Li Zheng appeared to be a person curiosity-driven about spies, asking questions so childish that Kato Junwa found it laughable.
Though he didn’t show it outwardly, Kato Junwa inwardly underestimated Li Zheng a bit, feeling his tense vigilance over the past two days seed unnecessary.
His tone relaxed considerably, he replied dismissively: "Yes, our organization indeed has training courses in this aspect. If you’re interested, I can teach you sothing soti."
"Oh. Is that so..." Li Zheng smiled, a naive smile like that of a young lad unfamiliar with the world.
But what he said next sent a chill down Kato Junwa’s spine.
