"I surrender! I admit defeat!" Misaka Tsuchiemon suddenly made an unexpected move, throwing his weapon on the ground and raising his hands high.

So decisively cowardly.

Li Zheng didn’t expect that Misaka Tsuchiemon, who was so arrogant when introducing himself, would admit defeat so easily when things went wrong.

Where’s your dignity as a master?

Where’s your pride as a disciple of the Yagyu Sword God?

Did a dog eat it?

Or is the surrender a front, and secretly you’re up to sothing?

After all, this guy is from a country that’s not short of wealth, and he’s awfully cunning.

Maybe I should just kill him!

Li Zheng was confused for a mont, then regained his sharpness, the blue light increased rather than decreased, seemingly freezing the air.

[Do you think he’s trying to use his tal Manipulation Ability to sneak attack while you’re distracted?

You’re so naive, young man.

Compared to your life, what are dignity and pride worth?

If you don’t kill him now, even if you slap him across the face he won’t dare retaliate, believe it or not?]

Old Pu suddenly appeared, interrupting Li Zheng’s spell.

After a mont of calm, Li Zheng looked at the shivering Misaka Tsuchiemon: "Do you really admit defeat?"

Misaka Tsuchiemon sniffed, speaking with a facade of righteousness: "We Yagyu Sword Dojo people never bite off more than we can chew; when we admit defeat, we an it!"

Li Zheng: "..."

So what the hell are you doing here?

Throw a bit of trash talk, start a fight, then admit defeat once you see you can’t win, and even act like it’s no big deal?

This is just...

No, my principles can’t handle this, I need to take a second here.

"Isn’t your Dragon Country known for treating captives well?" Misaka Tsuchiemon cautiously said, "Mr. Li wouldn’t trouble a defeated opponent, would he?"

Li Zheng looked at his thick-skinned deanor, speechless: "I am from Dragon Country."

"Right!" Misaka nodded.

"You’re from Mud Furnace."

"I never denied that." Another nod.

Now Li Zheng was completely baffled: "As soone from Mud Furnace, you should know that relations between our countries have always been tense, right?"

"I know." Misaka shuddered: "Mr. Li, can you disperse this ability? I’m about to freeze solid."

"Okay, but if you pull any tricks later, don’t bla for being rude." Li Zheng hesitated for a mont, then dispersed the concentrated chill.

The low temperature lost its source, gradually warming up.

Misaka put on two fur coats and jumped around to warm up, not afraid at all that Li Zheng would take the chance to kill him.

Li Zheng watched him like he was looking at a monkey, and once he ward up enough, asked him: "You lost to just like that, don’t you feel a bit burdened?"

"Burdened?" Misaka Tsuchiemon seed to find Li Zheng’s question strange, "What’s there to feel burdened about? Don’t be fooled by my appearance; I’m quite the sportsman."

Li Zheng was speechless on the spot, a Mud Furnace person talking to about sportsmanship?

If it weren’t for the Olympic judging antics, I might have almost believed him.

Misaka Tsuchiemon seed to see what Li Zheng was thinking, awkwardly scratching his head: "I know so Mud Furnace people have indeed embarrassed us in international competitions, but those people don’t represent all of us. After the contests, I visited those judges one by one to make sure they couldn’t leave the ICU for half a year."

At that mont, seeing Misaka Tsuchiemon’s gritted-teeth expression, Li Zheng felt a tiny bit of empathy.

What once seed obnoxiously insufferable now seed a bit more agreeable.

"Wait a minute!" Li Zheng suddenly realized, "How co your Chinese is so damn fluent?"

He just realized that ever since Misaka Tsuchiemon admitted defeat, he had been speaking Chinese, and with such fluency that even Li Zheng, a Dragon Country native, felt abashed.

He could practically qualify to be a TV host.

Misaka Tsuchiemon shyly replied: "Actually, I grew up in Dragon Country. It was just that after my father beca an official, we went to live in Mud Furnace."

Li Zheng noticed that Misaka used the word "went" instead of "returned."

One word changed the aning completely.

In that mont, Li Zheng felt a bit complicated inside.

He didn’t expect that after seeing so many pro-Japan or Japan-fixated individuals online, today he would encounter soone who’s pro-Dragon?

This is too much fun.

Because of Misaka’s current behavior, Li Zheng even felt embarrassed to do anything excessive to him.

Otherwise, wouldn’t it break the hearts of people from friendly international countries?

Of course, as the saying goes: "If they’re not of our tribe, their hearts must be different."

Li Zheng didn’t completely trust Misaka Tsuchiemon, still holding onto so sense of suspicion.

"In that case, I won’t trouble you. Since you can’t beat and I have no intention of finishing you off, better scram before I change my mind, I haven’t even had dinner yet." Li Zheng waved him off, calling back a spectator nad Sakura to bring out today’s dinner.

Despite being incredibly hungry, Sakura didn’t sneak a bite while Li Zheng was occupied, waiting by the side until Li Zheng announced dinner, then excitedly dashed inside with Powder Poli to bring out the al.

With Powder Poli, the shape-shifter, helping, a re eight to nine dishes were transported all at once by Sakura, before she then went to wash her hands in the bathroom.

Misaka Tsuchiemon initially wanted to hang around to discuss so deal with Li Zheng, but as soon as he slled the aroma of the al, he got animated.

"Braised pork! Boiled fish? No, this slls like crab or so kind of seafood, plus spicy cabbage, sautéed ’three treasures,’ stewed white stripe, my god—they’re eating so well!" Misaka Tsuchiemon swallowed his saliva, accurately guessing most of Li Zheng’s dinner from the aromas.
