When Li Zheng finished teleporting and arrived at the place where Xiao Siyuan was, the two robots followed him obediently, their attitude even more respectful.

Li Zheng didn’t notice the subtle change. His left leg was becoming increasingly painful as the anesthetic gradually wore off. If he didn’t deal with it soon, he’d have to waste the second dose of anesthetic.

It was nearing 8 PM, a ti when, except for special circumstances, players would generally stop exploring and indulge in pre-rest "celebrations."

Xiao Siyuan was no exception, eating roasted at with Lin Fengjiao while watching other people’s real-ti chats in the screen-peeping zone channel.

"Li, why are you here?" Lin Fengjiao was sitting opposite Li Zheng. Seeing him first, she quickly stood up to greet him.

Xiao Siyuan was startled and looked over: "Hey, your strength is really getting stronger. Did you clear the dungeon so quickly?"

Noticing the bandage on Li Zheng’s leg, his expression changed slightly: "You got injured?"

With Zhao Yu and the others at that level, the dungeon they could open was certainly not very dangerous. How could Li Zheng get hurt?

Xiao Siyuan thought this situation was simply astonishing.

"There was an accident. This dungeon was different from what I encountered before, almost a wreck." Li Zheng explained the situation roughly.

After hearing it, Xiao Siyuan looked at the two robots behind Li Zheng: "There are actually dungeons with two factions, quite unexpected. Follow , let check you out first."

He turned and led Li Zheng into the residence, pointing to the dical bed: "Lie down, take off your pants."

"Huh?" Li Zheng was stunned. He just had a cut on his leg; did he really have to take off all his pants?

Xiao Siyuan habitually fetched a pair of dical gloves and put them on, raised an eyebrow: "If you prefer to hunch over, that’s also fine, your call."

Lin Fengjiao followed them inside and happened to hear this, imdiately embarrassed: "Um... I’ll go boil so hot water. Would Mr. Li like tea?"

Not waiting for Li Zheng’s response, she hurriedly closed the door and left, taking the little Sakura who wanted to co in out with her.

"..." Li Zheng was silent for a while, then said: "What I an is, cutting open the pant leg should be enough, right?"

Take off his pants in front of another man?

No way!

"Good idea." Xiao Siyuan donned the gloves; he snapped at a wrinkled spot: "Unfortunately, I’m the doctor, and you need to listen to for treatnt."

"No... don’t think you’re the only doctor I can find. I’ll just seek soone else for help!" Li Zheng still wanted to argue.

Three minutes later, Li Zheng was obediently lying on the dical bed, his lower body covered with a blanket except for his left leg.

Xiao Siyuan was wearing a mask, showing no expression as he operated on the dical bed, turning on two lamps focused on the wound for preliminary inspection.

"Woah, not bad!" He examined the side view of the severed tendons, exclaiming: "All the severed vessels are charred, no wonder there’s no blood at all, almost like a charcoal-grilled steak."

Li Zheng heard this and said speechlessly: "What kind of bizarre taphors are those?"

Last ti you said Phoenix Mountain’s comminuted fracture was rice starch, and now you’re ntioning steak. Is this a combination of East and West?

It’s all about a balanced diet...

"If you don’t like it, I can use a different taphor." Xiao Siyuan continued operating the dical bed, bringing out a sharp scalpel, aligning it at the wound’s edge.

"How about... charred burnt steak?" Li Zheng quipped, and the next mont he let out a painful cry, cold sweat instantly gathered on his forehead.

"Damn! Xiao, what the hell are you doing? This is a human leg, not so steak you’re slicing!"

"There’s no choice; the flesh on your leg is all necrotic. Even though your healing ability is strong, it won’t recover well without removal." Xiao Siyuan focused on controlling the dical bed. To prevent Li Zheng from struggling, he used two chanical arms to press down his leg.

Ever since getting the dical bed, Xiao Siyuan had researched its usage thoroughly and could now operate it proficiently, almost as if directing limbs with intent.

The scalpel cut swiftly and accurately, with several incisions from different angles, removing two thin slices of blackened flesh.

The blockage gone from the wound, blood began to flow out steadily. Accompanied by this was severe pain, scorching like a glowing hot iron embedded in the flesh.

"Damn it, didn’t I take anesthetics? Why does it hurt so much?" Li Zheng almost bit his teeth to pieces; the pain rivaled that of a broken bone.

"Took anesthetics?" Xiao Siyuan’s voice contained a hint of amusent: "Your physique decomposes anesthetics much faster than normal people, it’s likely tabolized already."

"The reason it didn’t hurt earlier was that your leg nerves also got burned, making them a little dull." Not pausing in his actions, Lao Xiao took out a set of coveted high-tier dical sutures and started stitching up the wound. He also added comfort, "Rest assured, I’ll be quick; just endure it a bit longer."

Xiao Siyuan, being a skeletal specialist, usually didn’t handle suturing in surgeries but had no choice in the Matrix without anyone assisting.

This also led to awkward suturing technique, enough to get criticized in major hospitals.

Li Zheng lifted his head for a mont, puzzled: "Doesn’t the wound require vascular reconnection?"

"Not for you." Xiao Siyuan didn’t look up: "Suturing just helps align the cut, but full recovery relies on your inherent healing ability. You see here, it may look normal on the surface, but internally it’s already joined up."

Li Zheng scrutinized where Xiao Siyuan pointed, indeed not noticing much difference, yet the bleeding had significantly reduced.

Truth be told, if Li Zheng’s physique wasn’t different from before, treating such injuries would undoubtedly be far more troubleso. Xiao Siyuan opted for the easiest thod given the situation.

Though sowhat ordeal...

"As long as it can heal." Li Zheng was tempted to inject another anesthetic dose to ease the pain.

Too bad Xiao Siyuan would surely refuse.

"Your fate is tougher than others’, even if it wasn’t healed, it wouldn’t be life-threatening." Xiao Siyuan said while suturing: "Let’s talk about that dungeon you cleared; you didn’t just capture two robots, didn’t you? What do you think their relation with the so-called Kron Race?"

The topic shift made Li Zheng lie back again, recalling his experiences in the dungeon: "Probably a master-servant or subordinate relationship, but after so turn of events, it led to mutual hostility? Oh, right!"

Suddenly, sothing ca to Li Zheng’s mind: "One robot seed to try and stop when I was decomposing so corpses."

"Stop you?"

"Yes." Li Zheng recalled the situation then, uncertainly guessing: "Back then, I thought those Kron Race people might have been their previous owners. But now thinking about it... doesn’t quite fit."

"In any case, this dungeon was full of strange elents."
