So people thought the Starting Point Legion wasn’t what they imagined and chose to leave without a word.

Including the girl who wanted to be friends, about two hundred people left.

Faced with the departure of these people, Li Zheng was unmoved, not a flicker of emotion in his eyes.

He had anticipated this situation.

Under the influence of Western thinking, a considerable portion of modern society believes "freedom" is the ultimate pursuit in life.

Especially in a place like Matrix without constraints, to them, it’s like a dreamland.

Without explicit laws and rules, they could do as they pleased.

The reason for joining the Starting Point Legion was nothing more than to seek the shade of a big tree.

Moreover, Starting Point has long dominated the legion leaderboard; just the daily 10% bonus yield alone was enough to attract many profit-oriented people.

However, these are precisely the people Li Zheng didn’t want in the legion.

At this mont, being able to filter out a portion of them was exactly what Li Zheng wanted.

"Very good!"

Li Zheng looked at the remaining mbers and said with satisfaction, "Your willingness to stay shows you recognize what I just said."

"The Starting Point Legion welcos all like-minded friends, but!"

"Since you’ve joined and chosen to stay, you must abide by the rules of our Starting Point Legion!"

"From today on, I will have Assistant Leader Xiao organize a set of rules and post it within the legion."

"At that ti, those who violate the rules will be dealt with according to them!"

"Who agrees? Who disagrees?"

Li Zheng glanced one by one over the crowd below, looking at the calm or excited faces.

"Agreed!"

Wang Chaoran, as Li Zheng’s chief fanboy, was the first to raise his fist in support, almost jumping out of the crowd.

"I agree too! Our Starting Point Legion should have established rules long ago!"

Chen Xiangrong followed suit.

"Yes! Without rules, nothing is accomplished. We are the First Legion after all, how can we operate like a rabble?"

A female voice erged from the crowd, declaring passionately, "You have no sha, but I do!"

Li Zheng followed the voice, and his face instantly turned black.

Holy crap, he felt sothing was off earlier, not seeing Yan Guang and Phoenix Mountain flying up.

It turns out they were mixed in the crowd all along.

Phoenix Mountain truly lives up to being the epito of a loyal spouse; as soon as Yan Guang finished supporting, he shouted, "Captain V5! Captain 87!"

"Captain V5! Captain 87!" X2

"Captain V5! Captain 87!" X30

"Captain V5! Captain 87!" X200

The slogans were hurled with growing numbers and increasing coordination.

In the end, everyone’s enthusiasm was ignited, raising fists and shouting "Captain V5! Captain 87!" as if eager to sacrifice themselves for Li Zheng.

"..."" Li Zheng didn’t expect that the couple, Phoenix Mountain, were masters at setting the pace.

But on second thought, if Yan Guang failed at setting the pace, his many years of studying music would have been in vain.

After waiting for a while, Li Zheng felt the atmosphere was ready and pressed his hands downwards, urging everyone to quiet down.

"We’ve spent enough ti, let first discuss the details of this event with the vice leaders, then we’ll decide where to go."

During Zhan Zhouzhou’s earlier expulsion, Li Zheng had roughly glanced over the surrounding environnt and the general event details given by the terminal.

The place they were currently in could be considered a transit station.

There were many activity transit stations, exclusive to each legion.

Several different teleportation gates were distributed around the transit station, each leading to different activity zones.

These zones included: Endless Ocean, Desert Oasis, Tropical Rainforest, Lava Mountain Range, Immortal Thundercloud, and Profound Void.

Different zones allowed the fishing of different items, with even the fishing thods varying.

When Li Zheng first looked at the details, he almost thought he had read them wrong.

The Endless Ocean is the most conventional environnt, just an endless sea with nurous islands where players can fish, or use special ans to fish in the sea’s center if they wish.

But...

The Desert Oasis environnt, where the fishing area wasn’t the oasis but the desert, was sowhat comical.

Can fish be caught in the sand?

The Tropical Rainforest was even more outrageous, requiring players to fish within a toxic miasma range in the rainforest?

The Lava Mountain Range involved fishing in the magma at a volcano’s center.

The first four environnts were sowhat reasonable; they at least retained a semblance of fishing.

The last two were entirely absurd.

The Immortal Thundercloud environnt is high up in the sky, where only endless cloudy, thunderous rain clouds await players to fish in.

The Profound Void completely twisted the concept of fishing.

Fishing in the air...

Li Zheng researched carefully and found the six environnts presented by the terminal quite intriguing.

The Endless Ocean corresponded to Genetic Abilities of the Ice and Water Elents.

Desert Oasis corresponded to Earth and Gold Elents.

Lava Mountain Range corresponded to Earth and Fire Elents.

Tropical Rainforest corresponded to Water and Wood Elents.

Immortal Thundercloud corresponded to Gold and Thunder Elents.

Finally, Profound Void corresponded to the two most special: Telekinesis System and Abyssal System.

mbers of each legion could enter different environnts based on their adept abilities.

Players without developed genetic abilities could only choose conventional places like Endless Ocean to fish.

Interestingly, the terminal didn’t strictly limit entry requirents for different zones, and players could switch sites even midway, entirely by personal preference.

Those proficient in Earth Elent abilities could even go fish in the ocean or thundercloud areas, purely based on personal willingness.

Different environnts yielded different items, catchable only in environnts supporting their existence.

For example, a species adapted to high temperatures wouldn’t appear anywhere but the Lava Mountain Range.

Fishing yields also had levels, with each zone capable of yielding items from level 1 to 10.

There were living and ’dead’ items.

What players could catch depended on their fishing skill and luck.

The victory thod was determined by counting the points of each legion’s final catches.

Level 1 items corresponded to 1 point.

Level 10 items corresponded to 10 points.

Total points determined victory or defeat.

In a sense, the number of participants in an event from a legion determined the outco.

But from another perspective, numbers couldn’t determine everything.

After all...

No one could guarantee their legion’s overall luck was better than others.

In this regard, Li Zheng believed Phoenix Mountain might excel in this event.

"You should have all seen the event rules, right?" Li Zheng asked Xiao Siyuan and others, "Should we gather everyone at the Endless Ocean to accumulate points, or let them freely choose to experience different environnts?"

From a win-lose perspective, assembling everyone at the Endless Ocean to accrue points seed the safest approach.

But this choice also posed risks since many would likely think the sa way, potentially hindering their chances against others.

After all, aside from the transit station, other activity venues were shared by all players.

"That depends on the purpose of our participation this ti," Xiao Siyuan reflected for a while before saying, "I briefly reviewed, and since this is a recreational event, the rewards given by the terminal aren’t great. The legion with the highest total points can only get a hundred Platinum Level materials, which aren’t very valuable."

"However, the fishing yields from different environnts might include edible types that could provide players with varying degrees of enhancent after consumption," added Zhan Zhouzhou, having already sheathed his longsword, "From that perspective, I’d prefer letting them pursue directions they excel at, and even if we don’t clinch first place, it won’t have been a wasted trip."

All of the event’s fishing yields are forcibly converted into points after it ends, unable to be taken out. Even edible items must be consud within the event area.

Of course, if one chooses to consu them, their value naturally wouldn’t count as points.

"How about this, select a few people to lead and organize, splitting up to act independently."

Li Zheng contemplated briefly and concluded that even if the entire Starting Point Legion united, they might not best the larger legions with greater numbers.

He opted to scatter his resources, extracting as much value as possible from this event to uplift the entire legion.

"Alright, let’s do it this way. I’ll handle the arrangents." Xiao Siyuan nodded in agreent, descending with the ever-present Lin Fengjiao to address the event arrangents.
