The transparent gate opened, and Kang'er pulled his grandson Basil to hide at a distance, afraid that the leaf-cutter ants would fly out from the greenhouse onto them.
The three Tiger brothers saw there was no retreat, so they grimaced and walked in, each revealing their weapon—sharp tiger claws.
"B-b-big brother, I'm scared!" Hu San tugged timidly at Kota's soft armor cloak, hearing the rustling sounds from the fruit trees in the forest.
Veins bulged on Kota's forehead as he bared his sharp claws and sneered, "It's just a bunch of bugs, what's there to be afraid of?"
"Exactly, what's there to be afraid of?" Hu Er at the back was shivering uncontrollably on his two legs.
Li Zheng stood at the door, giving Kang'er a look, signaling him to close the door.
"But I'm really scared... Second Brother, don't pull my tail, you're hurting !" Hu San turned his head and found that Hu Er's claws were in front of him and didn't touch his tail.
He looked down and instantly let out a miserable wail, "Ahhh!!! Bugs! Bugs are biting my tail!"
This tiger roar imdiately alard all the leaf-cutter ants in the greenhouse, and a dense buzzing sound ca from the fruit tree forest.
The next mont, countless leaf-cutter ants the size of thumbs, waving massive mandibles, flew out, their ghostly green eyes casting a cold light on the three Tiger brothers.
"What are you yelling for? Just pinch it to death!" Kota shouted angrily, activating his Genetic Ability, generating a gust of strong wind around him.
Gusts of wind swept through the greenhouse, blowing the airborne leaf-cutter ants into a disarray, each one crashing into the transparent walls of the greenhouse, making a dense popping sound.
However, what seed like a mighty scene inflicted little damage upon the leaf-cutter ants.
The ants that crashed against the walls wobbled but then took flight again, having already adapted to the windy environnt, and charged as a swarm.
Seeing this, Hu San's fur stood on end. Without caring that an ant was still biting his tail, he madly dashed around the greenhouse, leaping up and down, stirring up fallen leaves on the ground.
"Don't run around blindly!" Hu Er initially reached out to pinch the leaf-cutter ant, but, led by Hu San, he dashed out too, chasing Hu San's tail and lunging forward, his eyes fixated only on the leaf-cutter ant.
Kota: "... Two idiots!"
The swarm of leaf-cutter ants detected no hostility from Hu Er and Hu San, ignored them, and aid at the only creature present that exuded killing intent.
Buzzing~
The sound of flapping wings joined into one, as if receiving a command, the leaf-cutter ants crashed like a dark cloud toward the center of the storm, Kota.
"Co on! Roar~" Kota roared like a tiger, his hands claw-shaped, furiously scratching in a chaotic manner within his attack range, leaving Li Zheng dumbfounded.
Damn, is that it?
I thought these three extraordinary-level Tiger n would have more combat power, considering how fierce they looked when they robbed , never expected that when it truly cos to fight, they'd be less effective than watching elderly ladies dance in the square on Earth.
Ssss!
Pop!
Crack!
Rustle rustle rustle...
Say what you will, when the density of the leaf-cutter ant swarm reached a certain level, even Kota's chaotic cat-fight style managed to hit a few…
And though his fighting thod was highly unreliable, those two claws of his were truly of extraordinary-level power. Any leaf-cutter ant accidentally scratched by him ended up decapitated.
Unfortunately, there were just too many leaf-cutter ants, with less than twelve percent getting scratched by him, the effect was very limited.
The leaf-cutter ants that slipped through his attack range opened their huge mandibles, biting fiercely on the fur-covered body, and once the mandibles clamped onto the target, they wouldn't let go.
Initially, Kota could still bear it, but as his entire body, except for his head and claws, beca covered with leaf-cutter ants, he couldn't stand it any longer and frantically fled while battering himself.
"Old Three, don't run, stop!" Hu Er still chased Hu San's tail.
"Big Brother, save , I'm scared!" Hu San, covering his head, dashed around blindly, with a few more leaf-cutter ants on him, so places already bitten bloody.
Listening to the cries for help from his two useless brothers, Kota suddenly felt mournful, tears welling up in his tiger eyes.
save you?
Who's going to save ?
I'm the most miserable one!
Usually stopping you from going to casinos and brothels, where's all that rebellious fight now?
Can't you bring it out now?
All you are is aggressive at ho, right?
Infuriating!
Ouch~ it hurts!
The whole body hurts!
Hurts like being bitten by bugs!
Soone co save ...
Kota felt despair, his body covered with leaf-cutter ants, even his most valuable soft armor had a few small holes torn open, and the ants crazily tried to burrow into his body.
Li Zheng stood at the door, observing coldly, the leaf-cutter ants flying around, easily numbering two to three hundred!
He glanced coldly at Kang'er, "Old man, you definitely didn't tell the truth!"
"...?" Kang'er didn't understand, showing a confused expression.
Earlier, Kang'er said these leaf-cutter ants were brought along mixed with the original plants, possibly even as an act of sabotage.
It seed plausible, after all, in this entire alley of factories, at least half of them were Botanical Gardens.
The saying goes that competitors are enemies, and it seed quite reasonable to tamper a bit in another's Botanical Garden.
Of course, judging from the two Vine Race mbers' fear of the leaf-cutter ants, it wasn't hard to see that the claim of leaf-cutter ants being the nesis of the Vine Race was probably true.
But considering the number of leaf-cutter ants, if Kang'er claid he only discovered they were in the greenhouse today, he was definitely lying!
