During the days Li Zheng was substituting as the Teleportation Gate Receptionist, not a single traveler headed to the Seven Sins Domain. It was only today that he learned that the operation of the Sin Domain Teleportation Gate was distinct from those of the district and wilderness, even though they were in the sa place.
In other words, the Seven Sins Domain had been isolated from the wilderness by the terminal.
For ordinary wilderness teleportation, when residents leave, their destination might be labeled as number 1, but when they return, the label might have changed to number 100. This indicates that although the wilderness has been divided into regions, they are, in fact, interconnected.
However, the Seven Sins Domain has been separately designated by the terminal, making it impossible to enter directly from the wilderness.
Of course, this doesn't an there are no wilderness wanderers within the Sin Domain. It's more to prevent outer city residents from accidentally entering the Seven Sins Domain, creating unnecessary trouble.
The Seven Great Sin Domains are: Pride, Greed, Gluttony, Lust, Sloth, Wrath, and Envy.
Each represents one of the most primitive negative emotions and is also part of the Seven Sins of human nature.
Li Zheng was more familiar with the emotion of Wrath, and it was his initial target. However, considering Mirel's uniqueness, he ultimately chose the Fourth Sin Domain, Lust.
The Seven Great Sin Domains are equally dangerous, with no particular order, but because of the sequence number, they have the nas such as the First Sin Domain or the Seventh Sin Domain.
After paying, the Intelligent Humanoid opened the Teleportation Gate. After adjusting the channel, the previously calm, water-like surface of the gate suddenly turned pitch black, with turbulent waves, as if hiding a terrifying monster inside.
"Let's go."
Mirel, being temporarily his pet, didn't need to pay and could follow Li Zheng inside.
As they stepped into the Teleportation Gate, everything turned dark. After a bout of dizziness, the two master and servant arrived at a canyon-like terrain.
The canyon was deep and sunless. Looking up, there was no sight of sun, moon, or stars, only a void-like color.
But at the canyon's bottom, faint light emanated from different materials in all directions—whether ground, vegetation, soil, or rocks—all seed phosphorescent, capable of emitting a weak glow.
Li Zheng walked out of the Teleportation Gate and was surprised to find an Intelligent Humanoid Receptionist here too. When the humanoid saw Li Zheng arrive, it raised its chanical limb, pointing into the distance.
Li Zheng looked in that direction and saw a vast area of buildings at the end of his vision. The architecture was diverse: towers, wooden houses, cubes—all seemingly a gathering zone jointly built by different races.
Just as he was about to head there, a couple of lines of text suddenly appeared on the Intelligent Humanoid's screen: Entering the Fourth Sin Domain, please strictly adhere to the following rules!
1: You must wear items that conceal your appearance, like cloaks, hoods, hats, etc.
2: The concealing item must not be removed under any circumstances, and if damaged, it should be replaced imdiately!
3: Do not actively expose personal race, gender, or other characteristics to avoid unnecessary trouble!
4: Magic Crystal Stores are not permitted in the Sin Domain. All Magic Crystals must be cleared after returning to the outer city district!
5: To be determined...
(The above clauses must be strictly adhered to, violators will bear the consequences!)
Li Zheng carefully read through the rules. Mirel, beside him, clung tightly to one of his arms, restlessly twisting her body, sticking closely to him nonstop.
Turning his head, he saw Mirel's eyes were misty, her lips fiery red, and her breath fragrant: "Li Zheng, quickly suppress my impulses..."
These days, Mirel's impulses had been suppressed, erupting only once every two days. Yet once certain things began, they were hard to stop. So when Mirel was itchy with desire, she used "suppressing impulses" as an excuse to explore with Li Zheng the process of "satisfying within the Spiritual Domain."
"Is this the influence of the Sin Domain?" Li Zheng frowned, carefully sensing around, and indeed found a strange fluctuation pervading every corner of the Fourth Sin Domain. This fluctuation could affect others' emotions, making them irresistibly want to explore the "Spiritual Domain."
His spiritual power was so imnse that this omnipresent fluctuation had no effect on him whatsoever.
In fact, had he not actively tried to feel it, he wouldn't have noticed anything unusual.
"So, having enough spiritual power can grant immunity from the area buffs in the Sin Domain?" Li Zheng took out two cloaks and put them on himself and Mirel.
With the cloak's protection, Mirel's condition improved significantly, her sanity returning, clamping her legs and gritting her teeth to hold on.
"You need to enhance your spiritual power quickly." Li Zheng turned and gazed at the distant cluster of buildings: "This level of emotional interference might not even be a tenth of a ntal storm. If you can't strengthen your spiritual power to a certain extent, you might entirely lose yourself in future battles."
"I understand." Mirel struggled against the emotional interference, managing to speak with difficulty: "Although the interference here is troubleso, it serves as good willpower training. I suppose the reason a gathering zone was established over there is to actively seek training."
Willpower and spiritual power are two distinct concepts. When spiritual power is strong enough, it can immunize against certain negative emotional influences.
Similarly, strong willpower and weaker spiritual power can sotis achieve similar feats.
Outer-city residents unable to exceed the spiritual power cap can only pressurize themselves in this manner, gradually enhancing their willpower.
In doing so, they can delve deeper into the Sin Domain, acquiring higher-tier Twisted Magic Crystals.
"Then train more, but tell when you really can't hold out." Li Zheng squinted at the distant buildings, suddenly noticing several towering towers among them vanish without a trace.
He paused slightly, and with a thought, a capsule appeared in his hand.
"This place allows capsules to be deployed?" He marveled internally. When Zhan Zhouzhou went on missions in the wilderness, it was impossible to release a capsule dwelling, similar to the outer city.
Li Zheng speculated, perhaps due to the capsule dwelling not aligning with so rules of these two places, making its manifestation impossible.
Yet in the Sin Domain, positioned in the "wilderness," albeit in a different region, allowing the deploynt of the capsule dwelling—what explains that?
After compressing the capsule and hurling it, with a thud, a big iron box asuring three by three by three appeared before him.
After experinting, he reverted the dwelling back into a capsule and pocketed it once again.
"It truly can be released. My initial judgnt was wrong; the terminal simply didn't want these ssy buildings disrupting the outer city's layout. Or… has the Sin Domain's dense negative emotions altered the rules?"
Li Zheng pondered this, as the Teleportation Gate lit up again, and two outer-city residents, dressed in hooded attire, erged.
The pair, upon seeing Li Zheng blocking their path, said nothing and sidestepped him, heading toward the distant gathering zone.
The duo initially seed relaxed, yet as they proceeded deeper into the Sin Domain, their steps beca labored.
"The area influence within the Sin Domain is not constant but strengthens gradually the deeper one goes?" Li Zheng glanced back at the Teleportation Gate and then again at the distant gathering zone, "Near the Teleportation Gate, the influence is weakest. From here to the gathering zone, there isn't a single building, indicating most adventurous outer-city residents have advanced to a similar depth."
"Before coming, I heard twisted creatures are pervasive throughout the Sin Domain, yet I've not encountered a single one so far?" Li Zheng scanned the surroundings briefly, "Could it be that this area has been cleared out by the outer-city residents? Hmm?"
He turned back, looking at the two figures that had just left, and in the dim light, there was a shadow rising behind each one of them, instantly vanishing.
The shadow flickered and disappeared; others might have dismissed it as an illusion.
But Li Zheng knew, it wasn't an illusion.
