It took the deputy captain a few seconds to digest this information.
Imdiately, she quickly saluted Xu Xingguang, her voice resonant as she introduced herself: "Deputy Captain of Secret Research Facility No. 23, Hua Junqiao, reporting to the captain!"

Hua Junqiao glanced at Xu Xingguang’s overly youthful face and suddenly said, "Facility 23 was only established less than half a year ago, directly under presidential order. When the President selected this building for our research facility, he ntioned the first basent had another purpose."
"But we don’t really know what that purpose is." Thinking that Xu Xingguang was the team captain, Hua Junqiao tentatively asked her, "Captain, do you know the purpose of the first basent level?"
"I have a guess." Xu Xingguang didn’t really know, but she had guessed the true purpose of the first basent.
Gazing out at the azure ocean world, Xu Xingguang said in a trance, "It should be a place for monitoring parasites and for destroying them."
Upon hearing this, Hua Junqiao’s expression tensed, her eyes flickered, clearly not having considered it from this angle.
Xu Xingguang told Hua Junqiao, "There is definitely more than one Corpse Centipede. A site of Corpse Mountain Blood Sea can breed many Corpse Centipede eggs. Xiahou Huai Gui was just the first parasitic organism we discovered, but not the only parasite."
Although not physically present at the facility, Xu Xingguang was well aware of all information regarding the Corpse Centipede. "The two foreign parasites should have been parasitized along with Xiahou Huai Gui, so their maturity periods are similar."
"Currently, we don’t know how many Corpse Centipedes were parasitized in that group, nor do we know how many batches the Great Sheep Country cultivated. But I am certain there are more than three."
Hua Junqiao listened as a sense of dread settled in her heart.
Xu Xingguang turned, looking down at Hua Junqiao, calmly explaining: "We have to find a way to use inducent drugs to assess the total number of parasites in Xia Country, gather them at Facility 23, and isolate them from external contact. That’s the purpose of the first basent level."
Hua Junqiao felt this matter wasn’t as simple as Xu Xingguang suggested and, heavy-hearted, asked, "What if they lose control?"
Xu Xingguang coldly and rcilessly pointed out: "Destroy."
The word ’destroy’ is generally used for ’objects’. Anything with life signs should not be destroyed.
Yet they are responsible for destroying those parasites nearing loss of control!
They are dics!
Even those working in a crematorium only handled burning corpses.
"Who...who will destroy them." Hua Junqiao’s throat was dry as she asked.
Raising her brows slightly, without much expression, Xu Xingguang said: "I initiated and lead the entire research project. Naturally, destroying out-of-control parasites is also my job."
