As long as one received treatnt from a healing-type awakener, it could be cured.
But the cost of that treatnt was a full 20,000 gold coins!
Although for the present-day Evelyn and Caelan, 20,000 gold coins was not even enough to cover the cost of a single al,
for Evelyn’s family back then, 20,000 gold coins was an enormous sum they might not have been able to save even after a lifeti of hard work.

According to Evelyn’s understanding, once her mirror image was created, it would make choices completely opposite to her own.
If that mirror image chose to cooperate with the demon race, then Evelyn would end up caught in a pincer attack from both front and rear.
Because of that, the plan Evelyn and Caelan had devised was simple:

As Evelyn advanced, she quickly reached the deepest part of the great rift.
This location was extrely well hidden. In fact, even most mbers of the demon race did not know there was a massive structure here.
Evelyn swept the area with her mind power, and very quickly discovered that a large number of demon race troops were stationed here!
At a glance, there were at least tens of thousands of them.
Leading them was a mber of the Mind Demon race, and also a trusted subordinate of Mind Demon King Shaki.
The mont Evelyn appeared, he imdiately recognized her identity.
"Damned human! I didn’t expect you would actually dare co here!"
The Mind Demon general snorted coldly, though a trace of smugness flickered in his eyes.
In truth, ever since the two sides had completely fallen out yesterday, Mind Demon King Shaki had already issued orders to strengthen the defenses around the warehouse.
And this Mind Demon general had only been deployed to the warehouse last night.

And the Supre Staff in her hand radiated a dazzling brilliance beyond compare.
At the sa ti, on the surface of the Supre Staff, it seed as though strips of luminous veil-like bindings wrapped around it were being continuously undone.
And as those glowing bands fell away one after another, the light emitted by the Supre Staff grew ever more brilliant!
Even Caelan had never known that the power Supre Staff had displayed in the past had not been its complete true form, but rather a version restrained by certain limitations.
Only at this very mont was Supre Staff truly operating at full power!
Now, Evelyn had revealed her strongest form.
Suspended in the air, she unfurled a pair of wings behind her—wings drawn entirely from magical energy!

Endless magical energy poured continuously into the Mana Ore gemstone at the tip of the Supre Staff.
As the energy gathered, it finally reached a critical point, and the Mana Ore gemstone reflected a deep blue beam straight into the sky!
The brightness of that beam illuminated the entire Abyssal Great Rift almost instantly.
In the next mont, the stars in the sky seed to establish so kind of resonance with the Supre Staff.
In the blink of an eye—
the stars fell.
And even more terrifyingly, those stars had all been enhanced by magic, multiplying their destructive power several tis over!
The demon race soldiers had originally assud that the descent of the stars would take so ti, and that they would be able to retreat calmly.
But the reality was that the mont they saw the stars falling, everything was already over.
In just half a second, the overwhelming shower of stars slamd down upon the demon race soldiers. In the next instant, their bodies abruptly collapsed and disintegrated, and almost simultaneously, they turned into dust—just like the Orefiends in the altar.
The only difference was that these demon race soldiers did not even leave behind a core.
Once they died, they died completely.
After witnessing this scene, the Mind Demon general’s face turned pale.
He had expected the human awakeners to be very powerful. He had even prepared himself to pay a terrible price, perhaps even dying on the battlefield.
But what he had never imagined
was that Evelyn would be this powerful—
so powerful that she had killed all the demon soldiers with a single skill!
Was this really sothing an awakener could do?

Involuntarily, the Mind Demon general recalled the Fragnts of History he had once seen.
In the previous era, there had also seed to be a mighty God of Magic who had swept across the entire demon race, nearly annihilating them from existence.
At the sa ti, Evelyn’s voice rang through the great rift once more:
"In my na, gather the Sword of Stellar Judgent... and execute the guilty..."
