The golden beam moved at incredible speed. By the ti everyone saw it, it was already too late.

Just as the surrounding Awakeners thought Caelan and Alyssa were dood, in the very next mont, a brilliant light suddenly flashed across the sky.
At the sa ti, it was as if so enormous creature was rolling and twisting inside the dark green smoke.
"Look over there!"
No one knew who shouted, but in the next instant, another golden beam of light flashed past like lightning tearing through the sky!
Only this ti, the direction of the beam had been refracted in the complete opposite direction from before.
It felt as though the beam had struck a mirror and been reflected away.
The Awakeners present had not even had ti to react before they saw a large number of stone blocks on a distant pyramid shatter, followed by a violent explosion!
