Countless grains of silvery-white sand were completely lted away within the range of the [Molten Domain]!
After the blazing lava gradually dissipated, a thick layer of silver-white rock appeared across the entire ground of Floor 33.
As for Gil, Emperor of the Desert, his figure had also transford into a stone statue the instant the silver-white sand solidified into rock.
He had not even been given a chance to resist before his life was utterly extinguished.
Outside the [Battlefield of Geniuses], all the Awakeners present were stunned speechless by Caelan’s attack!
With nothing more than a casual swing of his sword, he had lted all the sand across the entirety of Floor 33.
Was this truly sothing an Awakener could accomplish?
At that mont, the hearts of every Awakener present were instantly filled with terror.
Yet hidden beneath that fear was a faint trace of relief.
Fortunately, an Instance like the [Battlefield of Geniuses] did not imdiately refresh its floor bosses after they were defeated. Otherwise, the so-called geniuses of their respective races would probably not even be able to get past the first floor!
Caelan’s strength was simply too monstrous!
More importantly, his clearing speed was absolutely absurd. From the mont he entered the Instance until now, not even ten minutes had passed!
At that mont, the king of the Demihuman race was also closely observing everything happening within the [Battlefield of Geniuses].
When he noticed that Caelan had cleared Floor 33 in only ten short minutes, his entire body imdiately trembled in shock.
Beside him, his queen wore a resentful expression as she pretended to let out a few muffled moans. At the sa ti, she cursed inwardly.
The king was still so young. How had he already beco so useless?
It had only been ten minutes, yet he had already done it four tis.
A useless man like this might as well cut it off entirely. There was no point keeping it around anyway!
...
The [Battlefield of Geniuses] within the [Void Frontier] had beco the focus of countless eyes.
anwhile, within the distant Abyss, the Lord of Abyss remained seated quietly upon his throne.
Only his gaze continued moving back and forth across the map he had just finished drawing.
What was incomprehensible was that, despite the map having clearly already been completed, the images upon its surface were still constantly changing.
So of these changes were large, while others were small.
However, that was not the important part.
What truly mattered was that the map continued to transform even though the Lord of Abyss had not touched it at all.
Clearly, the situation displayed upon the map did not conform to the Lord of Abyss’s plans.
The Lord of Abyss remained silent for a long ti.
However, he made no attempt to stop the changes occurring upon the map.
Gradually, a certain location on the map began to glow brighter and brighter.
The Lord of Abyss paused slightly in surprise before picking up his brush once more and gently tapping it against that radiant spot.
In the next mont, all the pignts across the entire map seed to receive so form of guidance. They began flowing along the tip of the Lord of Abyss’s brush, gathering toward the bright point of light.
In an instant, the brilliant radiance spread across the entirety of the map.
The next mont, all the familiar locations previously depicted upon it vanished without a trace.
In their place appeared the events currently unfolding inside the [Battlefield of Geniuses].
Across the enormous map, Caelan’s figure suddenly appeared.
He was sweeping through the floor bosses in an utterly invincible manner, advancing continuously toward Floor 100.
The Lord of Abyss’s map was laid out within the grand hall. Therefore, all of the Abyss Overseers kneeling in the distance could clearly see the images displayed upon it.
However, the mont they saw Caelan’s figure, expressions of disbelief appeared across their faces.
"Great Eminence, may I ask why you are paying so much attention to a re human brat? Although his strength is indeed respectable and his talent can be considered excellent, other than that, there does not seem to be anything particularly special about him."
As Yorick asked this question, his attitude was extraordinarily humble.
He was terrified that a single careless word might anger the great Lord of Abyss.
After all, none of them could possibly bear the consequences of enraging His Eminence.
There had once been an Abyss Overseer who talked back to him a few tis.
That Overseer had been completely erased from existence, without so much as a trace of ashes left behind.
Yet at that very mont, a profound smile suddenly appeared upon the face of the Lord of Abyss.
His gaze swept across the Abyss Overseers kneeling before him.
After remaining silent for a long while, his majestic voice suddenly resounded directly within the minds of every Abyss Overseer present.
"Weak creatures such as yourselves cannot possibly understand the deeper laws by which this world operates."
"You are like pitiful insects that live only through the sumr, completely unaware of the coldness of winter."
"This world is far more complicated than you imagine."
"And he... is extrely important."
As he spoke, the Lord of Abyss’s finger happened to point toward the nearby map.
At that mont, Caelan’s figure occupied the entirety of the scene displayed upon it.
However, the expression on the Lord of Abyss’s face was not relaxed in the slightest.
Instead, there was a faint trace of concern hidden within it.
"He is vital. Yet now, it appears that soone intends to make a move against him and interfere with the operation of the world."
The mont these words were spoken, expressions of terror appeared across the faces of all the Abyss Overseers present.
Deep within their hearts, they were even more thoroughly stunned by what the Lord of Abyss had revealed!
Before this, in their eyes, Caelan had rely been a genius.
They had even believed that the prodigies of the Abyss were not necessarily inferior to him.
However, the words of the Lord of Abyss instantly made them realize that their understanding had been far too shallow!
Any existence capable of drawing the attention of His Eminence, the Lord of Abyss, was bound to be a powerful figure capable of triggering changes across the entire world!
Even so, the minds of the Abyss Overseers did not beco any clearer.
On the contrary, they only grew increasingly confused.
The great Lord of Abyss had clearly already transcended everything in this world. He had even gained profound influence over the very laws that governed it.
As long as His Eminence wished it, he could even create an entirely new law of existence!
But if the Lord of Abyss was truly so powerful, why was he still paying attention to an ordinary-looking human?
In the blink of an eye, tens of thousands of thoughts surged through the minds of the Abyss Overseers.
However, they soon recalled that the Lord of Abyss had once ntioned a mysterious existence.
Could it be that this young human nad Caelan was sohow connected to that mysterious being?
But...
Caelan of the human race had never t the great Lord of Abyss before.
Therefore, it could be confird that Caelan was not that mysterious existence himself!
Yet at that very mont, the sharp-minded Yorick suddenly noticed a detail that was often easily overlooked.
The great Lord of Abyss possessed the terrifying ability to travel across tilines.
Therefore, could there be a possibility that...?
For once, an expression of panic appeared upon Yorick’s face.
He did not dare continue following that line of thought.
Even less did he dare ask another question.
Otherwise, if he mishandled the situation in the slightest, there was a very real chance that the Lord of Abyss would erase him from existence completely!
