"Click, click, click—" High heels tapped on the stone floor.

Xie Shuyu walked gracefully, drawing everyone's attention. n admired her beauty and sensuality, while won eyed her clothes and handbag.

"Thump, thump, thump—" Tang Song could clearly hear his heartbeat, his hands subconsciously clenching. Despite ntally preparing himself, facing her in person made him nervous. It was a mix of sha over his previous awkwardness and an attraction to sothing beautiful. Ultimately, he was still an ordinary young man; even with the system's support, his mindset and vision hadn't fully caught up.

"Sister Shuyu," Tang Song greeted.

He could feel the complex gazes directed at him. The pressure was imnse. The last ti they t was in Xie Shuyu's coffee shop, which was far less direct than today's encounter.

"I'm sorry, Song, I'm late." Xie Shuyu checked her watch and apologized, "One of the stores had an issue, and I had to handle it."

She was usually very punctual, often arriving ten minutes early for appointnts.

"It's okay, I just arrived too." Tang Song smiled shyly.

They sat facing each other. Xie Shuyu placed her coat and handbag aside, handing him the nu, "Order whatever you like, don't be shy."

Tang Song waved it off, "I'm on a diet lately. You go ahead and order. Just add a vegetable salad for at the end."

Xie Shuyu scrutinized him for a mont before nodding lightly, "No wonder you look slimr. Keep it up! I have a small appetite and always control my diet, so today's al will be quite economical."

She hadn’t really noticed Tang Song’s details before but praised him out of politeness and emotional intelligence.

"Fresh beef tendon flowers, seafood tofu soup, Jinxiu Garden, premium cabbage, boiled shrimp... that's it." Xie Shuyu closed the nu and smiled at Tang Song, "These are all low-calorie dishes, perfect for your diet."

Her long, flowing hair cascaded over her shoulders, complenting her curvy waistline, making her look exceptionally attractive.

"Thank you, Sister Shuyu." Tang Song tried to keep his gaze "clear and pure."

He felt that overtly admiring her was disrespectful.

Xie Shuyu raised her delicate face. " There's no need to be so formal. This al is on . The mini-program you made was excellent, and the backend managent is very useful. I should thank you for tirelessly tweaking it several tis."

"Just doing my job."

...

"What did you just say?" Wang Yubo asked Zhao Yue, surprised by her mumbling. He turned and followed her gaze, his expression quickly becoming animated.

"Holy sh*t! No wonder Tang Song dressed so sharply!" Wang Yubo swallowed hard, feeling like a volcano was erupting inside him, "That... that can’t be his girlfriend, right!?"

What a joke. The two of them didn’t match at all. The woman, though young, had a high-class aura, standing around 175 cm tall, and over 180 with heels, almost equal to Tang Song. Compared to her, Zhao Yue looked entirely ordinary. Such a woman was a bombshell anywhere! Completely out of Tang Song's league!

Biting her lower lip, Zhao Yue’s expression turned extrely unnatural, "I don't think so either. Probably a relative or friend."

Wang Yubo said sourly, "Having such a friend is lucky. She seems wealthy, definitely a valuable connection."

As a salesperson, Wang Yubo had t many business owners and had a good eye for such things.

Zhao Yue quickly realized the sa. How could Tang Song have such a girlfriend? The LV "Golden Sahara" on her shoulder alone was worth 220,000 yuan, and her entire outfit scread luxury, totally out of their league. Tang Song probably wasn't even a suitor, he just wasn't in her league!

After so self-consolation, Zhao Yue felt much better. She cald herself and asked, "Yubo, is it true our company is shifting to e-comrce?"

This was her main concern. Currently, Jinxiu Comrce primarily engaged in offline clothing distribution, and their tech departnt was marginally important. A shift to e-comrce would be an opportunity, increasing workload and salaries. Jinxiu Comrce had a reliable track record in this.

Wang Yubo, eyes still on Xie Shuyu, drank so water and lowered his voice, "Not shifting, but focusing more on online expansion. This is true and will significantly impact our sales departnt. The funding agreent has been reached, but don’t discuss this at work; it’ll be announced next month."

"Isn't that good news? Why the secrecy?" Zhao Yue asked, puzzled.

"I'm not sure. The boss ordered it personally; no discussions allowed."

"I see..." Zhao Yue frowned, her thoughts racing. No wonder Director Chen had been so enthusiastic, constantly painting rosy pictures and taking credit for the SCM system. No wonder Du Shaokai started working overti, taking on projects, and even took over Tang Song's project maintenance work. If the company moved online, the SCM (Supply Chain Managent) system would be central, with all operations tied to it. The tech support departnt would likely beco a standalone division, expanding in size. Director Chen could potentially beco CTO, officially entering the company's top managent, creating many middle managent openings.

Thinking about this, Zhao Yue felt a surge of excitent. This was a golden opportunity.

...

Dish after dish was served, looking and slling delicious. Xie Shuyu took small bites with her chopsticks, savoring the food while discussing ideas for the mini-program and the coffee shop's promotion with Tang Song. Talking about work made her glow with enthusiasm.

Tang Song understood why she had taken the ti to have this al with him and cautiously asked, "Sister Shuyu, does this an you plan to continue iterating theShimr Coffee mini-program?"

"Bingo!" Xie Shuyu rarely showed a playful side, "Let’s discuss business."

"Sure."

Sitting up straight, Xie Shuyu's expression beca more serious, resembling a beautiful female executive from a TV drama.

"I formally invite you to join my company part-ti, managing the website and mini-program maintenance. The pay is 3,000 yuan a month, with free coffee and juice. How about it? Consider it?"

"Uh..." Tang Song was taken aback.

He had expected a one-ti deal like last ti, but she wanted to recruit him. However, thinking it over, it made sense. For Xie Shuyu, this was the most cost-effective solution—convenient, economical, safe, and sustainable. It was beneficial for him too, providing an extra 3,000 yuan monthly. In Yan City, many people didn't even earn that much. Previously, he would have agreed without hesitation. But now, on the path to becoming a heartthrob, with a bright future, even one task reward far surpassed this part-ti pay.

Tang Song carefully chose his words, "When are we signing the contract?"
