"Da, da, da—"

Footsteps echoed in the quiet underground parking lot.

Dim lights cast a shadowy glow over the empty space, with only a faint red flicker from a distant surveillance cara.

Wearing sunglasses and a face mask, Bei Yuwei gracefully approached a Toyota Alphard.

The door slid smoothly open to the side.

Bei Yuwei quickly got in.

With a "snap", the door shut tight, cutting off all outside sound.

"Yuwei! You're finally back!" Assistant Little Tao looked at her anxiously, speaking at lightning speed, "Are you okay? Sister Bing said we have to get back to Wushan International Hotel before 11, or soone might find out."

Bei Yuwei shook her head, let out a long breath, her legs beginning to tremble slightly out of control. Her face under the mask was flushed and burning, as if she’d just stepped out of a stear.

Her mind was full of everything that had just happened in the suite.

Especially when the robe opened, revealing those rock-hard, defined eight-pack abs, the faint V-line, and those smooth muscle lines—all displayed before her eyes. That primal, genetic-level attraction and desire almost made her lose control.

Though she ca from a talent show background and was only 20, she’d already been in the entertainnt industry for over three years.

Even if she hadn’t eaten pork, she’d seen pigs run.

She had ntally and "tactically" prepared for today for a long ti, even watching a bunch of adult films to refine her technique.

However, imagination and reality were two totally different things.

Awkwardness and clumsiness interlaced, gentleness clashed with aggression...

And the real kicker? Tang Song’s stamina was just too much.

In the end, she had to improvise, cosplaying as Director Jin on the spot, throwing out a few dirty lines—only then did things finally wrap up.

Turns out Tang Song really is obsessed with Director Jin.

The car slowly started moving, exiting the underground garage.

Neon lights filtered through the windows, casting fragnted light and shadow across Bei Yuwei’s face.

Assistant Little Tao looked at her and asked curiously, “Yuwei, why’s your hair wet?”

“It’s nothing. So milk spilled while I was drinking, so I rinsed off a bit.” Bei Yuwei’s voice was dry, her lips trembling ever so slightly beneath the mask.

Hearing that, Little Tao leaned in and sniffed, frowning in confusion. “Why does it sll kind of... weird? Like...” Follow current novᴇls on noveⅼfire

She dragged out her words, thought for a second, then her expression suddenly changed. “Yuwei, you—”

Bei Yuwei weakly said, “Give the perfu.”

This was her first ti doing sothing like this—she hadn’t expected Tang Song to be so intense. Way more dramatic than in the videos.

Even now, there was still a lingering scent on her body.

Little Tao hurriedly opened her backpack, pulled out a bottle of perfu, and handed it over.

Lin Muxue casually took it, sprayed so on her hair, chest, and under her chin, trying to completely mask the scent.

But that scent had already etched itself into her mory, like Tang Song had stamped an invisible mark deep in her soul.

Probably sothing she’d never forget for the rest of her life.

“Yuwei...” Little Tao’s eyes shimred with a hint of tears. She whispered, “Is it really worth it? Honestly, your fa is already pretty high now. You’ve got a good number of acting gigs—just take more comrcial jobs and endorsents, that’s enough to live well.”

Bei Yuwei pressed her lips together. “You don’t get it. Once you’ve tasted life at the top, bathed in the spotlight, there’s no going back. You start getting scared you’ll lose it all.”

She was the textbook definition of a traffic star. With her looks, figure, and spot-on roles, she blew up fast.

But popularity is a double-edged sword. It could make her—or destroy her.

Competition, scandals, gossip, unspoken rules—without backing, she couldn’t maintain her current status.

Like with this Snowy Night Clears production team. Just one Li Ruixi was enough to suppress her, even stirring up online buzz that almost landed her in a public opinion crisis.

She glanced at Little Tao beside her, whose face was full of concern.

Bei Yuwei curved her brows into a smile, leaned close to her ear, and said in a playful tone, “But the guy I t tonight? He’s actually soone I like. Technically speaking, I was the one being proactive—he’s the one who got forced into it.”

After saying that, she couldn’t help but cover her mouth and giggle.

Little Tao had been with her since her debut. Though just a green assistant with little experience, they were thick as thieves.

Last year, her agency contract was sold to Tang Zong Entertainnt, and they got separated.

This year, after blowing up from Listening to the Rain in Leisure, she finally had enough clout. The first request she made to the company was to get Little Tao back as her assistant.

Because Little Tao was truly loyal to her. She never had to worry about being stabbed in the back when she least expected it.

As her most trusted friend, she wasn’t planning to hide anything from her.

Even when she went on dates—or to bed—with Tang Song, Little Tao would be the one helping her cover.

Little Tao let out a soft gasp, eyes widening, “Wait... but didn’t you say the company higher-ups sent you to accompany him?”

According to what Bei Yuwei told her before, it was soone at the board level who arranged it. She couldn’t say no, and neither could Sister Bing.

“Yeah, but turns out—what a coincidence—he’s the guy I like.”

At that, Little Tao’s eyes lit up like fireworks. “That’s amazing!”

Bei Yuwei nodded, then handed her the Shangri-La room card from her pocket. “Check out after 10 AM tomorrow.”

“I got it. Don’t worry, I’ll handle it. You just focus on filming.”

Bei Yuwei smiled, lazily leaned back in her seat, and looked out at the city neon lights flying past the window, blinking softly.

Thanks to the recent photo scandal, she had successfully caught Su Yu’s attention.

But things didn’t go quite as she hoped. All her upcoming shoots were suspended. As soon as filming wrapped here, she’d have to head to Shanghai to et Su Yu.

That had her feeling nervous and off her ga the past few days.

She knew deep down, her supposed relationship with Tang Song was fabricated. If she didn’t make it real, it would blow up sooner or later.

Thinking of that, a strange, confused look flashed through her eyes.

Earlier that afternoon, Su Yu’s personal assistant Cheng Xiaoxi had called her directly to inform her about Tang Song staying at the Shangri-La Hotel in Wushan.

She told her to make contact and relay as much info as possible about the Parallel Dawn crew and Su Yu’s schedule.

Otherwise, how could a newly popular star like her know so much about a big boss like Su Yu?

And before hanging up, Cheng Xiaoxi even “casually” suggested that since Tang Song was obsessed with Smile Holdings’ Director Jin, she should try dressing like her and see how he reacted.

Then ca today’s sudden trending topic: “Jin-Su CP.” It all left her completely baffled.

She couldn’t tell whether this was Su Yu’s doing. If it was—what was the deeper aning?

But with Su Yu, she didn’t dare speculate recklessly. All she could do was carry on with her own plan.

To successfully establish an intimate relationship with Tang Song.

He was young, handso, and gentle. He was a shareholder in Tang Zong Entertainnt, had close ties with CEO Mo Xiangwan, and also had a good relationship with Su Yu.

If she was destined to “dedicate herself to art,” then why couldn’t it be with him?

She was still young, still yearned for a beautiful love.

That’s why she wanted Tang Song to praise her, to hear him say he liked her.

She thought back to all their monts together: the Songi Fashion livestream, their chance encounter at Shenzhen Bay No. 1, the gentle kiss, the flirtation at the banquet, the reunion at Wushan, and the deep connection they shared in the Shangri-La suite...

In that case, it could be said that they had gone through a full romance cycle, right?

eting, getting to know each other, developing feelings, mutual affection.

Even if it was short-lived.

Taking a deep breath, Bei Yuwei picked up her phone and dialed Cheng Xiaoxi’s number. Her sweet voice echoed inside the car.

"Hello? Sister Xiaoxi, this is Bei Yuwei."

"Mm-hmm, I’ve already done everything you said."

"Uh… he was definitely excited. It was obvious—he really likes Director Jin."

"Got it. Once I finish shooting here, I’ll head to Modu right away."

"Bye-bye."

Outside the window, city neon lights flew by in a blur.

Bei Yuwei hung up the call, her eyes glittering like starlight, the corners of her lips curling into a faint smile.

Tang Song… Tang Song…

You haven’t fully gotten yet, so you better not forget !

When I’m standing in front of Miss Su Yu, you’ll be my strongest backing!

September 25th, 2023, Monday, cloudy, 16~26°C.

Early morning, the sky was just beginning to lighten.

Cheng Qiuqiu slowly opened her eyes, her awareness gradually returning, though a trace of weariness still lingered in her brows.

She’d had another sleepless night—not because of fear or nerves, but because of Tang Song.

She didn’t know why, but every ti she closed her eyes, she would see the image of Tang Song holding her, the sense of security and the emotional stirrings keeping her restless.

Of course, it had its upside—no nightmares at all last night.

Even better than listening to Su Yu’s songs.

The muffled sound of ocean waves ca faintly from outside the window. She simply sat up, her long, amber-brown hair cascading over her shoulders, the ssy, lazy strands brushing over her smooth, fair chest, carrying a touch of seductive allure.

She rubbed her temples, then her eyes accidentally drifted to the phone screen on the bedside table. The ti read 5:50.

As if rembering sothing, she suddenly threw off the covers and got out of bed, quickly washed up, and changed into a casual fall outfit.

She stood quietly by the door, listening for any sound from outside.

Last night at the barbecue, Tang Song had ntioned there was a donkey at sandwich shop next to the food stalls, and he wanted to try it this morning.

She stood like that for over ten minutes before hearing a door open outside.

Cheng Qiuqiu quickly moved to the peephole, staring fixedly into the hallway.

A couple soon walked past her field of view.

Letting out a sigh, she bit her lip hard and stepped back.

Cheng Qiuqiu, what are you thinking again?

You made it so clear yesterday—you’re indifferent, not looking for intimacy.

Tang Song must be turned off by now. He definitely won’t approach you again.

Her thoughts were spiraling out of control—

The sound of another door opening ca from outside.

Her mind was still struggling, but her feet had already moved to the door as she looked through the peephole again.

And there it was—a handso face appeared at the center of her vision, those sharp black-and-white eyes staring right through the peephole at her.

Cheng Qiuqiu’s hands clenched instantly, locking eyes with him.

Thump-thump— her heartbeat echoed in her ears.

Is he going to knock? Is he here to ask to breakfast? Should I pretend I’m heading out and run into him “by accident”?

While she was tangled up in indecision—

Footsteps echoed, and Tang Song turned and walked away, vanishing from view.

A wave of unspeakable disappointnt and panic flooded Cheng Qiuqiu’s heart.

Click— the doorknob turned sharply as her figure appeared in the hallway.

She looked anxiously toward the elevator.

No sign of Tang Song.

How could that be? Was it just a hallucination?

Just then—

A voice with a smile rang out from behind her: “Qiuqiu, what a coincidence. You heading out too?”

Cheng Qiuqiu turned around to see Tang Song leaning against the wall by the door, smiling at her.

“Ah!” She gasped softly, quickly lowering her head. “Good morning, President Tang. I… I was heading out to eat.”

Tang Song took a step forward and waved her over, “Co on then, let’s go together.”

Cheng Qiuqiu gave a soft “mm,” quickly falling in behind him, her hands awkwardly stuffed in her pockets.

The early morning sea breeze carried a faint chill.

They walked slowly, not saying much, just quietly enjoying the scenery along the way.

Breakfast was simple—freshly baked donkey at sandwiches with millet porridge and so pickled vegetables.

Tang Song scarfed down three sandwiches in one go, completely satisfied.

Looking at the icy beauty sitting across from him, he asked, “We’re heading back to Yancheng this afternoon. Did you have fun these past few days?”

“I did,” Cheng Qiuqiu replied, then added, “I had a great ti.”

Warm, friendly colleagues, a relaxed and harmonious atmosphere, plus Tang Song and Senior Su—

For her, this Wushan trip was a level of ease she’d never experienced before.

Tang Song smiled and said, “Glad to hear it. Once we’re back, it’s ti to buckle down. Our branding departnt is going to be swamped.”

The shareholders’ eting for Huashang Fashion was about to take place, and Assistant Lin Muxue had already obtained the eting docunts.

Which ant he was officially becoming the chairman of Huashang Fashion.

The Huashang & Songi collaboration could now move at full speed.

Add to that He Yiyi and Bei Yuwei reuniting, and the hype was through the roof again.

Safe to say, after the National Day break, Songi Fashion would be insanely busy.

“That’s okay. Being busy is a good thing,” Cheng Qiuqiu looked up at Tang Song. “I’ll work hard on the designs. I’ll create high-quality work that ets the standards.”

Tang Song encouraged, “Go for it. I believe in you.”

“Mm.” Cheng Qiuqiu looked at him, a flicker of sadness in her eyes.

After this, she probably wouldn’t have many more chances to be alone with him again—let alone stay in the room next door, or casually drink and eat barbecue together.

5:30 PM, Yancheng Train Station.

As the golden sunset bathed the platform, the high-speed train pulled in with a gentle braking sound and the hum of chattering passengers. People began to exit the cars one by one.

After saying goodbye to their colleagues—

Tang Song and Cheng Qiuqiu followed Liu Jiayi through the bustling crowd, taking the elevator down to the underground parking lot.

Under the cool, white lights, a dignified Rolls-Royce Phantom sat quietly. The black body glead with a restrained, solemn shine.

The three of them got into the car one after another.

Soon, with the roar of the engine, the Phantom smoothly pulled out of the underground garage.

They arrived quickly at the nearby Yanjing Tiancheng Residence.

Tang Song got out of the car, waved goodbye to the two of them, and strode toward the elevator.

For him, the most urgent thing now was getting ho.

Even though he knew Secretary Jin was probably gone by now, he still wanted to see if she had left anything behind.

Even if it was just a note—or a single stocking.

Ding— The elevator stopped on the 20th floor.

Tang Song pulled his suitcase and quickly walked to the armored door.

Opening the door, the familiar entryway ca into view.

But right there on the cabinet by the entrance, in the most prominent spot, was a delicate pink sticky note.

Written on it, in elegant handwriting, were the words:

“I’ve prepared dinner and put it in the fridge. Just heat it up. Don’t forget to eat on ti. Also, I hope President Tang takes care of his health and doesn’t overwork himself.”

The words “overwork himself” were slightly bolded, making Tang Song feel particularly awkward as he read them.

With a smile, he muttered to himself, then quickly walked into the kitchen.

Opened the fridge.

Inside were several neatly arranged dishes: stead spotted grouper, broccoli with black truffle and garlic, and a porcini chicken soup.

Each dish was packed in a clear container, labeled with heating instructions and notes.

Tang Song picked up one and took a whiff—he could still sll her faint perfu on it.

A gentle tea scent mixed with soft floral notes, as crisp and fresh as a misty autumn morning.

It was clear these were all made by Secretary Jin herself.

As far as he rembered, she’d never cooked before. He didn’t know when she’d learned.

After staring for a while, Tang Song closed the fridge.

He took a walk through the living room and study, then headed into the master bedroom.

A familiar, unique fragrance filled the air, putting him in a good mood.

The bed was neatly made. On the nightstand, next to her photo, was a book they were reading together.

The Interpretation of Dreams.

It was the exact sa book she had in the photo.

Tang Song picked it up, flipped through a few pages, and gently set it back down, overwheld with emotion.

He wanted to see her so badly. To kiss her, hold her, possess her in the real world.

Secretary Jin, to him, was both emotional support and the embodint of a beautiful fantasy.

She had everything he liked—selected by the system to be the most perfect, ideal person.

Her very existence constantly reminded him not to slack off, not to stop.

After zoning out for a while, Tang Song headed straight to the kitchen.

He reheated the dinner Secretary Jin made and carefully finished every bite.

After cleaning up, he changed into slippers,

sat on the balcony, held his guitar, and sang for a while.

His mood gradually cald down.

Then he walked into the master bedroom’s walk-in closet.

Just as he was about to change clothes, his gaze froze.

Right in the center of the wardrobe that was usually filled with dress shirts, now hung three wildly different… sets of lingerie?

The first was made of deep purple velvet, luxurious and coldly elegant, with tiny rhinestones embedded in key areas.

The second was a fiery red satin lingerie set—more accurately, it was a “bondage outfit,” with red silk straps crisscrossed into intricate patterns, combining sex appeal with intense control.

The third was black lace, extrely detailed in design. The floral lace was delicate and complex, with large transparent cut-outs, and even ca with open-crotch jacquard stockings.

Staring at the three sets of lingerie and breathing in the lingering rich scent, Tang Song’s heartbeat suddenly sped up.

These were the pieces Secretary Jin had worn.

It was hard to imagine soone like her actually willing to wear this kind of thing to please a man.

H*ll! Secretary Jin, you really know how to play with contrasts!

If she went to a eting dressed like this underneath… that would be…

The more he thought, the more flushed his face beca.

Checking the ti,

Tang Song picked up his phone and directly dialed Zhao Yaqian. “Hey, Qianqian.”

“Song-ge, I’m here.” The lively, sweet voice of the beautician ca through the receiver. “You’re back in Yancheng, right? I missed you so much! I was just debating whether to call you!”

Tang Song’s tone was a bit low: “What are you doing right now?”

Sensing sothing off, Zhao Yaqian imdiately got nervous. “Xiaoxue and I are having dinner at a restaurant. What’s wrong, Song-ge? Is sothing up?”

“Xiaoxue’s there too?” Tang Song raised an eyebrow. “I miss you. Why don’t you co to Yanjing Tiancheng to see ?”

“Oh, oh! Sure, Song-ge! I’ll head over right now.” Zhao Yaqian’s voice instantly turned delighted and excited.

Tang Song paused, then shalessly added, “Oh, and bring Xiaoxue too. You probably haven’t eaten enough—co over and top it off.”

“Ah!” Zhao Yaqian gasped, whispering shyly, “O-okay, we’ll co now.”

Star Moon City.

After hanging up, she glanced at Xiaoxue’s confused face and leaned in to whisper the situation in her ear.

A blush of excitent quickly spread across Lin Muxue’s delicate face, her thighs subtly rubbing together.

They had assud that since Tang Song had just gotten back to Yancheng, he’d be exhausted and likely had others to entertain, so they didn’t dare call him.

But surprisingly, he invited them over himself—impatiently at that.

It could only an one thing: a battle of unprecedented scale was coming.

They paid the bill and headed straight down via elevator.

In less than ten minutes, the Porsche 911 arrived at Yanjing Tiancheng.

They entered the code and pulled open the heavy armored door.

Familiar with the routine, the two slipped off their shoes and walked into the master bedroom.

Looking around, they didn’t see any sign of Tang Song.

“Song-ge is showering,” Zhao Yaqian’s sharp ears caught the faint sounds coming from the bathroom.

Lin Muxue whispered, “I’ll go change clothes first.”

She had worn a Prada won’s business suit to work today. It was brand new and expensive—not sothing she could afford to have ripped.

More importantly… it wasn’t sexy enough.

She stepped into the walk-in closet, swiftly undressed, and picked out one of Tang Song’s casual shirts to wear.

The loose hem stopped right at her thighs, her faint curves reflected seductively in the mirror.

She tousled her hair in front of the mirror, letting it fall lazily around her shoulders, adding a touch of ssy allure.

As soone who’d mingled in the socialite circle, Lin Muxue had learned plenty of tricks. She knew how to create that “accidental” seduction.

Walking out of the closet,

Lin Muxue’s eyes landed directly on the beautician sitting on the edge of the bed, scrolling her phone.

Thinking of the “Su Heavenly Emperor” and “Jin Unknown” on her mind,

she bit her lip and walked right over to Zhao Yaqian, leaned in, and whispered in her ear, “Qianqian, what do you think—should we try it tonight?”

“Try what?”

“That thing we talked about last night—the combo move.”

“Ah?!” Zhao Yaqian’s face turned bright red as she murmured, “I… I don’t know if that’s a good idea. Maybe… wait for a chance and ask Song-ge first?”

Lin Muxue blinked, then suddenly kissed her on the cheek, startling Zhao Yaqian so much she shivered like a scared bunny.

“Su Yu and Director Jin are being shipped as a CP now. Maybe that’s exactly Song-ge’s thing?” Lin Muxue chuckled softly. “Why don’t we try a ‘Qianxue CP’ too, see how it goes? Boost our competitiveness a bit. Don’t you want more ti with Tang Song?”

Zhao Yaqian bit her lip, hesitated for a mont, then finally nodded. “Alright.”

The appearance of Jin ixiao didn’t affect her that much—she didn’t really feel anything intense.

But Xiaoxue, she looked like she’d just seen Cthulhu or sothing—completely shaken.

If they couldn’t win head-on, then… maybe it was ti for a more unorthodox route?

For her bestie, and also for the chance to get more of Tang Song’s affection—why not give it a shot?

Click— The bathroom door opened.

Tang Song walked out, towel-drying his wet hair. The ladies’ business suit neatly folded in the corner caught his eye at once.

Looks like Xiaoxue and Qianqian had arrived.

The desire already ignited by Secretary Jin now blazed up like wildfire.

He casually threw on a bathrobe and stepped out of the walk-in closet.

In the bedroom, the main lights had been turned off. Only the ambient lights remained, casting a warm glow across the space.

The next second, Tang Song’s pupils slightly contracted, a look of stunned surprise flashing across his face.

At the edge of the bed were two intertwined figures.

Long, smooth legs wrapped around each other like vines, glowing with a dewy sheen under the soft light.

Hearing the approaching footsteps,

the two of them stopped moving at the sa ti and looked in his direction.

The mont their eyes t, Lin Muxue licked her lips and gave him a sultry smile.

Bathed in the warm lighting, the entire scene was wrapped in a lazy, seductive atmosphere, the air filled with soft, lingering sounds.

Boom—

Tang Song’s Adam’s apple bobbed. His blood instantly began to boil.

WTF—who the h*ll could resist this?!

His eyes turned red as he strode forward.

Any gasps that followed were completely swallowed.
