Hearing Su Yu’s domineering words and feeling the slight sting from just below his collarbone, Tang Song’s heart skipped a beat.

He suddenly realized that he didn’t seem to understand this movie star at all.

In his past mories, Su Yu had always been obedient and well-behaved, like a little pet who always relied on his guidance and arrangents.

But now, she was showing an unprecedented initiative and assertiveness.

Tang Song’s hand slowly moved down, gliding over the smooth curve of her shoulder, “Alright, whatever you say.”

Su Yu let out a satisfied little laugh and stepped back from his embrace, adjusting the collar he had ssed up.

“Wait here for a mont, I’m going to change clothes.” Her voice had fully returned to calm.

“Hm?” Tang Song raised his eyebrows slightly, looking at her with a hint of confusion.

Su Yu leaned close to his ear, her eyes flirtatiously narrow, her voice husky and sexy: “It’s hot. My clothes underneath are soaked. It’s really uncomfortable. Just wait here.”

Before she finished speaking, she lightly kissed his pronounced Adam’s apple, her fingertips brushing along his lower abdon.

This whole series of actions left Tang Song flustered and parched.

Su Yu smirked proudly and walked out of the lounge with elegant steps, leaving behind a perfectly crafted back view for Tang Song’s imagination.

Her legs were straight, hips perky, back upright—each step like a carefully designed movie shot, exuding the allure of a top-tier actress.

It wasn’t until the lounge door clicked shut that Tang Song snapped out of her teasing spell.

His heart was pounding, breath growing heavier.

After all, this was Su Yu.

The goddess-crafted graduation project of Nüwa, a superstar under the spotlight, walking hormones, the dream girl of countless people.

Her face, her figure, her voice—each like a finely sculpted piece of art.

And when she flirted so boldly and seductively, it was simply impossible to resist.

After walking out of the lounge, Su Yu’s expression returned to its calm composure.

Assistant Cheng Xiaoxi quickly stepped forward and handed her a glass of warm water, “Sister Yu.”

Su Yu took the cup, her lashes casting a fan-shaped shadow under her eyes. “Notify the screenwriter and director. Ask them to co to the eting room. Oh, and also prepare a set of lingerie in the dressing room—the lace one.”

“Got it. I’ll do it right away.” Cheng Xiaoxi didn’t ask more, stole a glance at the tightly shut lounge door, and jogged off.

Ten minutes later.

Su Yu pushed open the door to the dedicated eting room of the Parallel Dawn production crew.

Director Lin Mouchuan and head screenwriter Zhao Wenbo, who were reviewing the latest storyboard, quickly stood up.

“Su Yu.” “Director Su.”

“Director Lin, Teacher Zhao, sorry to interrupt your work.”

After exchanging greetings, the three sat down.

Lin Mouchuan sat upright in his chair, puzzled, and asked, “Su Yu, what did you call us here for?”

Su Yu went straight to the point. “I want to add a guest role. He’s a young guy with no acting experience, and it’s for the next three days of shooting.”

Zhao Wenbo imdiately raised the script in his hand, smiling, “Director Su, President Mo already ntioned this to before. I’ve added it in. He’s a friend of the female lead with two shots, mainly to bring out the important supporting character, Yu Muying.”

Then, Zhao Wenbo explained the character details and plot.

He had been inford two days ago—Mo Xiangwan had spoken very seriously and reminded him not to leak anything.

After listening, Su Yu was briefly stunned before shaking her head, “No, that role’s too minor and bland.”

“Uh…” Zhao Wenbo and Lin Mouchuan exchanged glances. “Director Su, it’s hard to give an outsider a complex role.”

“Yeah, and our schedule is already packed. If we make big script changes now, it could affect the pacing.”

“Then work overti to catch up,” Su Yu paused, then suddenly said, “If I rember right, in the first version of the script, Li Chu had a first love, right? Let’s make the guest character her first love. He doesn’t need to be in the main plot—just in flashback scenes. Three in total, one per day for the next three days...”

She was one of the key contributors to the adaptation of this novel script and had morized all her scenes, so she was extrely familiar with the plot.

Zhao Wenbo and Lin Mouchuan were dumbfounded, wondering if they’d misheard.

Did the sun just rise in the west?

Su Yu actually wanted to add a romantic subplot for herself?

Everyone knew Su Yu had one taboo in acting: she strongly rejected romantic storylines.

Even when they did exist, they were relegated to side plots—and absolutely no intimate scenes, not even with cara tricks.

This had long been one of the major barriers to her growth in the film industry.

Hollywood had invited her multiple tis for blockbusters, but deals always fell through due to those restrictions.

In contrast, her achievents in music were far more dazzling.

If not for her exceptional scripts and acting skills, she would never have reached such heights.

Director Lin Mouchuan suddenly stood up, eyes glowing. “Yes! No problem! I’ve been thinking the romance line for Li Chu was too weak.”

In fact, the original novel did have such a character.

But the current script only briefly referenced him through another character’s lines.

If they could shoot a few flashback scenes, it would certainly enhance the story.

Zhao Wenbo frowned slightly, clearly hesitant. “I just think it’s a bit rushed. Shouldn’t we discuss it thoroughly first?”

Su Yu raised an eyebrow, slightly displeased. “He’s just a guest—just a few shots. It won’t have much impact.”

Zhao Wenbo wanted to say more.

Lin Mouchuan cut in directly. “Alright, it’s settled.”

Zhao Wenbo’s mouth twitched, but he could only nod in agreent.

Lin Mouchuan’s gaze flickered as he cautiously asked, “Since they’re a couple, should the intimate scenes be shot for real?”

He could already guess the guest was the guy who had hugged Su Yu earlier.

As an old hand and Su Yu’s friend, he knew exactly what that ant.

Hearing this, Su Yu’s lips curled, “Of course. Since he only has a few shots, they should be impactful—everything should look real. For , this is a breakthrough too.”

“Great! Fantastic!” Lin Mouchuan clapped excitedly.

This would be Su Yu’s first-ever intimate scene!

Even if it disrupted pacing, it could be used as an end-credits Easter egg.

Either way, it would be a huge highlight and a major ticket-selling point.

Then, Su Yu explained her ideas and understanding of the role in detail.

Zhao Wenbo imdiately gathered the writing team to revise the script.

...

At noon, the two hid in the lounge to eat together.

Tang Song’s first ti on set felt incredibly fresh—he directly ordered a set al.

Braised pork, a big chicken drumstick, white rice—simple but mouthwatering.

anwhile, Su Yu’s nutritionist-prepared al was elegant and healthy:

Pan-seared salmon, purple sweet potato mash, kale salad, and freshly squeezed juice...

Beautifully plated, perfectly color-coordinated.

But soon, Su Yu gently pushed her own food aside, sat next to Tang Song with a bright smile, and naturally started stealing bites from his al.

During the al, the two didn’t stop chatting.

They talked about everything from food and music to fitness and tech.

Su Yu had a small appetite and stopped eating after a while.

She rested her elbows on her knees, cupping her stunning face with both hands, blinking as she looked at him.

No matter what topic Tang Song brought up, Su Yu could always pick it up and dive deeper.

Her knowledge was broad but never showy—she always centered the conversation around him, making every exchange feel just right.

Whenever Tang Song said sothing interesting, she always caught it imdiately and laughed in a clear, pleasant tone, adding the perfect praise: “You know so much! I’d never have thought of that!”

When it ca to tech stuff she didn’t know, she’d quietly listen and ask questions.

Sotis, she’d even lean in and kiss him lightly on the cheek, her gaze full of playful admiration.

It gave Tang Song a strange sense of satisfaction, like a “first love” kind of feeling, as if he was the only person in her world.

She was just too good at this!

Of course, Tang Song didn’t let the atmosphere cloud his judgnt.

After five years, Su Yu had grown from a simple star into a fully developed, outstanding woman.

She’d helped found and manage companies like Tangzong Entertainnt, PolyStar Ventures, Sutang Investnts, and Xingyun International Group, accumulating vast business experience.

She’d attended nurous top-tier events both dostic and international, acted in countless films, shows, and variety programs...

She’d encountered all sorts of people from all walks of life, honing her EQ and social skills to perfection.

Her overall qualities even surpassed Tang Song’s now.

And yet, this Su Yu was willingly “looking up” to him, listening and responding attentively.

What man wouldn’t fall for that?

Tang Song was a normal guy—and a lustful one at that—he was quickly smitten by the starlet.

By this standard, Su Yu was the most emotionally intelligent and skilled woman he’d ever t.

Compared to her, Lin Muxue or even Shen Yuyan paled in comparison.

Just after finishing his beef al—

Knock knock knock—

Soone knocked.

Su Yu stood up and calmly said, “Co in.”

Right after, Cheng Xiaoxi pushed the door open, eyes lowered, softly saying, “Sister Yu, the script has been revised.”

She handed over the folder in her hands.

Su Yu nodded and took it casually, speaking kindly and gently, “Thanks, Xiaoxi.”

Cheng Xiaoxi was taken aback by the affection, her face blushing.

Today, Su Yu seed like a completely different person—so warm and friendly.

She had beco Su Yu’s personal assistant three years ago, and this was the first ti she’d seen this side of her.

She could feel it—Su Yu was genuinely happy. Even her filming was going smoother than before.

Could this be the magic of love?

Thinking of this, she couldn’t help but sneak a glance at Tang Song standing nearby.

She t a pair of deep, clear eyes and was so startled she quickly looked down again.

From what she’d pieced together over the years, this President Tang was shrouded in mystery—cold and indifferent.

But what she saw today told a different story.

Su Yu flipped through the script briefly and smiled with satisfaction.

Her tone was gentle yet firm: “Notify everyone that the set must be cleared for these scenes—only the director, caraman, and lighting crew should remain. Also, the footage will be directly managed by the studio for now.”

“Got it, understood!”

As the door quietly closed, the room returned to calm.

Su Yu turned around, walking with graceful steps to Tang Song and handed him the script.

Her voice was soft as water: “Song, this is your guest scene. Just three shots, only one line. It basically doesn’t require any acting. If you have any thoughts, tell directly.”

“Mm.” Tang Song took the script and gently tugged at Su Yu’s arm.

Su Yu raised her brows slightly and obediently sat beside him. Right after, a long, warm hand wrapped around her waist.

The two of them sat on the sofa, reading through the material together.

Since there wasn’t much content, what Tang Song received was a brief version of the script, containing the appearance scene numbers, locations, line content, and simple action cues.

The storyboard was much more detailed, with every shot’s framing, angle, and duration noted.

Su Yu showed great patience and focus, softly explaining each detail to him.

......

In the afternoon, Su Yu’s shoot proceeded as scheduled.

Tang Song held both the script and the storyboard, sitting in a private rest area, with an assistant director assigned to guide him.

Between takes, Su Yu would occasionally co over to check on his prep and chat a bit.

Tang Song was still imrsed in mories from 2017 and 2018.

Their interactions were natural and easy, as if they’d long been accustod to each other’s presence.

3:20 p.m.

Cheng Xiaoxi ca over quickly, “Mr. Tang, your guest scene is about to start. I’ll take you to get ready.”

“Alright, thank you.” Tang Song stood up and followed her inside.

Arriving at the makeup room.

The professional styling team imdiately gathered around—makeup, hair...

After changing into the costu provided by the crew, Tang Song stood in front of the mirror, eyes slightly dazed.

A light blue Windsor-collar shirt, tailored black slacks, brown leather shoes.

This seed to be what he wore the first ti he and Su Yu took a photo together—back when Secretary Jin helped take the picture.

Since he had just co out of Feather of mory, the impression was vivid.

Then he thought of the script.

Just three shots, but they included a confession, a romantic mont, and a proposal.

All three scenes seed to echo mories from their past.

He had every reason to believe the movie star was using her power for personal gain, playing a little trick.

But then again—

Who could say no to Su Yu?

......

After 4 p.m.,

Tang Song saw Su Yu, freshly made up and changed, at the quiet and private filming location.

She wore a stylish and sexy white lace dress, the hem flaring slightly, outlining her elegant curves.

Her clear makeup made her skin look luminous, her wavy black hair cascading over her shoulders, giving off an indescribable sense of pure beauty.

Truly stunning, like a fairy descending to Earth.

When their eyes t, Su Yu’s eyes sparkled with joy like a bright star lighting up the space—

—and lit up Tang Song’s heart too.

After a bit of prep, the shoot officially began.

Su Yu stood with her back to the cara, fingers subconsciously playing with the curtain tassels.

Outside the window, the sunset dipped into the horizon, the sky painted a brilliant orange-red.

Tang Song entered the fra, his shadow falling over her before his body.

He reached out to touch her shoulder, then hesitated and pulled back.

At that mont, Su Yu suddenly turned, her hair brushing lightly against his chin.

In that instant, her award-winning acting exploded.

She lifted her head, amber eyes gazing at him with shyness and deep affection, a mix of girlish flutter and anticipation in her expression.

Her lips curved in a soft smile—sweet, restrained—each tiny change in her expression precise and deeply moving.

Tang Song was stunned, staring at her dumbly, forgetting his line.

Off-cara, Director Lin Mouchuan rubbed his forehead and stood up helplessly, shouting, “Cut!”

Su Yu’s performance just now had been breathtaking—that shy first-love feeling was textbook-perfect. Too bad the take was wasted.

“Mr. Tang, please—”

Before he could finish, Su Yu suddenly turned to him, gaze sharp, “Director Lin, it’s his first ti acting. Don’t interrupt too much. Let him find his rhythm—we’re still in rehearsal.”

Her voice was soft but commanding, backed by the weight of capital.

Director Lin Mouchuan’s face twitched, quickly nodding, “Uh... alright, I understand. My apologies.”

Su Yu turned back, her tone gentle, “Let’s go again. Don’t worry, you lead the way.”

With a call of “Action!” they slipped back into character.

Filming was more complicated than Tang Song had expected.

Since it was his first ti on cara, issues kept popping up—stiff expressions, awkward movents, flubbed lines.

Su Yu showed trendous professionalism, patiently helping him adjust his state.

After four or five takes, things finally started to click.

Tang Song finally said his only line: “I’ve loved you since a long ti ago.”

Then he lowered his head and gently kissed the “female lead Li Chu” on the lips.

Su Yu trembled slightly, amber eyes shimring with shyness and excitent. Her gaze, her smile, her body—all expressed the mont flawlessly.

Everyone on set held their breath, witnessing Su Yu’s first on-screen kiss.

The cara slowly panned to their overlapping shadows, the image romantic and beautiful, even the air seed laced with sweetness.

“Cut!” Director Lin Mouchuan called out excitedly, “Perfect! That shot was fantastic!”

But surprisingly, the kiss didn’t stop.

Several staff glanced at each other awkwardly and quickly lowered their heads.

It wasn’t until over a minute later that the two finally parted, still looking at each other affectionately, fully in character.

After a mont,

Su Yu walked slowly to the monitor to review the footage.

Her expression was serious, brows slightly furrowed, “I think the last shot wasn’t good enough—I could do better. Let’s shoot a few more.”

“Uh… alright.” Lin Mouchuan nodded obediently.

Filming resud.

And with each retake, Su Yu asked for more detail: deeper emotion in the eyes, more natural movents, fuller feelings.

Outside the French windows, the sunset grew even grander, orange-red light flooding the room, wrapping their figures in warm dusk.

Finally—

After Tang Song said “I love you” fifteen tis and kissed Su Yu fifteen tis—

the perfectionist, award-winning actress Su Yu finally approved the take.

By then, the sun had almost set, and dusk had fully arrived.

Tang Song’s set visit was officially coming to an end.

......

The black Maybach slowly drove away from the film base, blending into the bustling nightti streets of Modu.

Neon lights flashed on either side, reflected in the car windows like flowing stars.

A faint woody scent lingered in the air.

Tang Song turned slightly, “Thanks for today, Xiangwan. Sorry for the trouble.”

“No worries.” Mo Xiangwan leaned gracefully against the seat, hands crossed on her lap, lips lifting into a faint smile. “How was your first acting experience?”

Tang Song chuckled, “It was interesting. Definitely a rare experience.”

“If Mr. Tang is willing, you’re welco to visit or guest star anyti.”

Tang Song paused, gazing out the window, “Shouldn’t be too long now.”

“Oh?” Mo Xiangwan raised her brows, joy flashing in her eyes, “That’s sothing to look forward to.”

She knew Tang Song had his own plans—that’s why he returned to Yancheng and cut off contact.

Now, with her, Annie, and Luo Bin reappearing in his life, Su Yu likely wasn’t far behind.

“By the way, where are you staying tonight?” Tang Song suddenly asked.

Mo Xiangwan pressed her lips together, still elegant. “Tangzong Entertainnt is expanding overseas. Ms. Kate and I have a lot to discuss, so I’ll be staying with her for another two days. Is that alright, Mr. Tang?”

“Of course.” Tang Song shrugged, chuckling softly.

Mo Xiangwan’s expression subtly shifted.

Ever since Su Yu found out Tang Song was staying at Anne Kate’s place, she’d acted like a spooked cat—calling Wen Ruan and even sending her over to “keep watch.”

After all, Annie was Director Jin’s person.

Back when Su Yu had a concert in Yancheng, Annie had moved into Tang Song’s apartnt just to keep her in check.

The car fell into silence again.

Ding-dong—

The phone in Tang Song’s pocket buzzed.

He took it out and smiled faintly.

[Wen Ruan: “Hey, little bro, what are you doing?”]

Tang Song: “Thinking about you, sis.”

[Wen Ruan: side-eye emoji]

[Wen Ruan: “I heard soone’s living with that tall foreign beauty. No ti to think of , huh? So? How’s the ride? Feel all wrung out?”]

Tang Song’s mouth twitched. He glanced at the composed and elegant Mo Xiangwan.

His fingers flew over the screen:

“Just crashing at a friend’s place. We’re pure. I’ll introduce you two soday.”

[Wen Ruan: “Su Yu just gave a cat—top-tier ragdoll, super pretty. Way more romantic than soone else, who doesn’t even know what I really want. Learn from her. Tell Su Yu I love her.”]

[Wen Ruan: cat pic.jpg]

Tang Song opened the photo, eyes widening slightly.

A big sister wearing only underwear and bra had a soft, plush Ragdoll cat sprawled across her smooth, full thighs.

The cat was indeed large, white, and incredibly fluffy—making one irresistibly want to reach out and give it a good squeeze.

Tang Song: “Send a few more pics, I love cats too. I really want to reach in and play with it myself.”

[Wen Ruan: “If you’ve got the guts, co over now. I promise you’ll pet it to your heart’s content.”]

The two of them flirted back and forth for a while, the mood both relaxed and ambiguous.

Buzz buzz buzz—

[Wen Ruan: “You ntioned before that you were looking for unicorn-potential companies to invest in. I happen to have a college classmate working at a company in the AI e-comrce marketing space.”

[Wen Ruan: “I’ve seriously looked into it. Their tech barriers are solid, and the market space is huge. Right now the valuation’s still modest, but the growth potential is trendous. I’ve just taken over part of Xingyun International Group’s business and plan to enter from this angle. Your Songi Fashion is related too—interested in joining?”]

Reading this ssage, Tang Song’s gaze softened noticeably.

Big sister really was thoughtful. He had only casually ntioned it while playing ball, but Wen Ruan rembered it—and clearly did her howork.

Now that Light and Shadow dia was on track, Wen Ruan’s assistant team had also settled in. Tʜe source of this ᴄontent ɪs Novᴇl_Fire(.)net

As a director and shareholder of Xingyun International Group, she naturally had to keep climbing—fulfilling her own “Companion Growth Task.”

According to Tang Song’s mory of “Precision Queen” Ouyang Xianyue’s growth path, big sister would soon be getting very busy.

Tang Song quickly replied: “Absolutely, I’m in. Just waiting for you to take the lead.”

[Wen Ruan: “Then once I finish up at Xingyun International, let’s take a trip to Yang City.”]

Seeing the words “Yang City,” Tang Song’s fingers paused briefly before he replied, “Alright.”

Putting the phone down, a person inevitably surfaced in his mind.

Deskmate Zhang Yan.

In his dream mories, her figure had appeared more than once—

Sotis in their hotown village, sotis on the campus of Yan City University of Technology.

Those fragnts proved she had never truly disappeared from his life.

If he went to Yang City—

Should he go see her?
