Now reading: Chapter 750: Secretary Jin from Maxing Out Charisma, Inheriting Game Assets, a Slice of life novel by 纵伐.

What kind of smile was that?

A perfectly asured display of teeth, the rarely glimpsed shallow dimples, and clear, sparkling eyes.

Set against soft yet exquisitely defined facial contours, it possessed a warmth that felt almost healing.

The resplendent Frick Collection seed illuminated by her smile.

The lights softened, the air brightened.

This was precisely the highest praise and respectful title bestowed upon her in the cutthroat world of Wall Street -

The Golden Smile.

Eighteen months ago, when she graced the cover of *Forbes* magazine as one of the "World's Most Influential Business Leaders."

The photographer captured this very mont, a smile so radiant it seed capable of piercing through the lens.

That cover issue once left the entire financial world spellbound, hailed by the dia as "The Trillion-Dollar Smile."

Thus, those truly qualified to be close to her privately preferred to call her "Ms. Smile."

This was not only a nod to the aning of her na but also the mark of the vast comrcial empire that was Smile Holdings.

...

[Secretary Jin Smile Count 1/10]

Tang Song stood on the steps, his thin lips pressed tightly together, his gaze montarily losing focus.

The entire world seed to fall silent.

mory and dream overlapped wildly in the depths of his consciousness.

Light compressed into a single beam.

Her smile expanded infinitely within his pupils until it occupied everything.

mories surged like a tidal wave.

From the "female secretary" in the *Heartthrob Simulator* ga to the scenes from 2016 to 2020 within the [Feather of mory]...

For the real him, those were all veiled, unreal.

Just like last ti in [Secretary Jin's Dream], even though there had been intimate contact, it was ultimately a dream.

But now.

The vivid, warm, more perfect than mory version of her had just walked out, step by step.

Erging from the mist, appearing before his eyes.

Tang Song's breathing grew slightly ragged. His fingers, hanging at his sides, curled uncontrollably, his fingertips pressing hard against the onyx cufflinks.

He had never felt such a strong craving.

A craving to embrace soone, to confirm her reality.

Perhaps sensing his emotional turmoil,

Secretary Jin's full chest montarily stilled with a restrained pause in her breath, then trembled almost imperceptibly.

But the next second, she shifted her gaze with extre rationality.

Not looking directly at Tang Song, but at Adrian, Sloan, and the others standing beside him.

A subtle, almost imperceptible sense of understanding and tension rippled deep within their souls the mont their gazes parted.

She was restraining herself.

Just as he was enduring.

"Tap, tap, tap—"

The sound of footsteps continued.

A group of over ten people erged from the shadows of the art gallery corridor, stepping into the light of the courtyard.

Their formation was orderly, yet not the slightest bit ostentatious.

Walking half a step behind her were two female assistants holding briefcases, followed by several well-known senior executives of Kate Bank.

So who had been negotiating in low voices, appreciating paintings, or lost in thought in the side hall were also jolted by this sudden aura, erging one after another to follow the sound.

Countless gazes, bypassing the champagne towers, the sculptures, and the crowd, converged on that direction.

After a brief silence, ca hushed whispers of surprise and excitent, darting through the crowd like sparks:

"Mira Jin!"

"It's her—Ms. Smile... She actually ca in person!"

"Tomorrow is the global shareholders' eting for [Smile Holdings]. Shouldn't she be in closed-door sessions making final preparations?"

"Could it be to align with the asset restructuring signals just released by [Tangjin]? It seems there's news significant enough to shake the markets about to be announced."

"I have a feeling tomorrow morning's financial headlines will all be dominated by this scene."

Fervor, awe, speculation...

All these emotions surged like undercurrents within this enclosed space.

They knew this "Ms. Smile," who could influence the flow of global capital, would never act without purpose.

Her appearance necessarily ant there was soone or sothing here worthy of her personal attention.

Many felt the urge to step forward, hand over a business card, get their face recognized, but seeing Philip Kate personally leading the way and that invisible shield around her, they all retreated in fear.

Shen Yuyan, standing behind Tang Song, felt the blood in her entire body boil and then freeze in that mont.

This was the woman she had regarded as her ultimate idol since university days, the one whose picture she had pinned above her bed to motivate herself through countless days and nights—Jin ixiao.

This was the pinnacle of power she had dread of touching, yet found so distant and unreachable.

That unparalleled charisma, that dominance that made even the titans of Wall Street bow their heads, struck deep into her soul.

Yet, at the sa ti.

That hazy layer of window paper in her mind was finally pierced.

No wonder Tang Song had undergone such a huge change since arriving in New York, no wonder Lin Muxue had tempered her personality.

Jin ixiao was the "female lead" Tang Song and Ms. Sloan were waiting for.

Tang Song and Jin ixiao.

Tang, Jin.

[Tangjin Family Office] (Tangjin Capital).

Tang Song wasn't just a core mber of so family office.

This was... a family office belonging to the two of them!

A layer of fine goosebumps instantly covered her entire body, spreading from her arms all the way to the back of her neck, making her scalp tingle.

She was a smart person, and the mistake smart people most easily made was being blinded by common sense.

But in this world, only the truth was the most absurd.

...

As she drew closer.

The loosely gathered crowd seed parted by an invisible hand.

No one dared to rashly step forward to block her path, not even dared to speak loudly.

People spontaneously retreated to both sides, clearing a broad passageway.

This was the street-clearing effect that ca with top-tier power.

The guests along the way, whether the investnt bank MDs who had just been holding forth or the elegantly dressed socialites, all subconsciously perford the sa action the mont she passed—

The gentlen quickly adjusted their already impeccably tailored suits, pulled in their stomachs, straightened their chests, and gave a slight bow.

The ladies restrained their smiles and lowered their heads in an elegant gesture of respect.

Low, respectful greetings rippled around her like waves:

"Director Jin."

"Ma'am."

"Ms. Mira."

Faced with this overwhelming tide of awe and flattery, her pace did not falter in the slightest.

She did not stop to exchange pleasantries with anyone, nor did her gaze linger on any single face.

She rely maintained that perfect, flawless smile.

Occasionally, she would give a slight nod to a few truly weighty guests in the crowd, her gaze sweeping past them lightly.

Just a montary eye contact, and those who received it felt as if bathed in a spring breeze, flattered and honored, raising their glasses in return.

Unhindered by objects, unstained by dust.

Finally, she arrived at the corner of the garden courtyard.

The atmosphere within the small circle outside the oak door underwent a subtle change.

The core mbers of the Tangjin Family Office consciously took half a step back to either side, yielding the most central position.

"Mira." Ms. Sloan spoke first, a hint of goodwill in her gaze.

"Mira."

"Director Jin."

Elena, Adrian Phelps, and the others followed with nods of greeting, their attitudes respectful and restrained.

Shen Yuyan bit her lip, forcibly suppressing the turmoil within, obediently lowered her head, and took a step back, holding the champagne case.

Secretary Jin stopped before the group. After responding briefly,

Her gaze finally, naturally, landed on the man wearing the deep blue suit.

This was the first ti in over a year that she was seeing him in reality.

His facial features hadn't changed much, just grown more profound and three-dinsional.

His skin was cool and pale, clear and translucent;

his hair was jet-black and thick;

his profile was handso and upright.

Even his height seed four or five centiters taller than before.

For a man already grown, this was extrely rare.

She knew very well that Tang Song's height had been fixed at 180 centiters since he was 18.

In the past, to consider his feelings, she never wore heels over six centiters in front of him.

During his periods of low mood, she would even change into flats in advance, just so he could find a sense of control.

He had many unscientific secrets about him.

She was well aware of these, but she didn't care.

As long as he was Tang Song, that was enough.

Her eyes held only him.

The surrounding clamor gradually faded, the background turning into a blur.

Tang Song gazed into those clear eyes behind the lenses and took the initiative to step forward.

Crossing the bounds of propriety, also breaking the final bit of distance between them.

Disregarding the social etiquette and linguistic conventions of the cocktail party, he spoke in Chinese: "Long ti no see, Smile."

Secretary Jin's eyelashes fluttered slightly, a smile overflowing in the depths of her eyes, like a galaxy falling.

She looked at him, responding softly:

"Long ti no see, Tang Song."

This scene was strikingly similar to June 10, 2016, the day after the college entrance exams, also the second day of the Dragon Boat Festival holiday.

In an utterly ordinary café in Quancheng.

The scene of their first eting in reality.

Back then, that was how they addressed each other.

And now, they had finally called each other's nas in front of a large audience.

Creating an openly brazen connection.

...

Although the vast majority of people present couldn't understand the aning of these two Chinese sentences, they could sense that the relationship between these two was far from ordinary.

Since Tang Song was already within the circle of core Tangjin personnel like Adrian, and coupled with his shared Eastern features with Jin ixiao,

This scene wasn't particularly shocking.

It rely made everyone present pay even greater attention to the Huaxia man standing opposite "Ms. Smile."

Philip Kate, who had been standing to the side, chose this mont to break the silence appropriately.

He stepped forward with graceful deanor, proactively extending his hand to Tang Song. "Mr. Tang, welco to New York."

Tang Song's gaze withdrew from Secretary Jin, his expression calm as he shook Philip's hand.

"Hello, Mr. Philip. The arrangents by Kate Bank are exquisitely refined;

every detail here is delightful."

His tone was steady and appropriate, without a trace of affectation.

Just then, several figures approached from not far away.

Leading them were Dennis Coleman, CFO of Goldman Sachs, and Thomas Gray, head of Morgan Stanley's global TMT investnt banking division.

They were among the sharks with the keenest sense of sll on Wall Street.

Seeing Jin ixiao and Philip present, they naturally gravitated over first.

"Ms. Mira, I didn't expect to see you here," Dennis spoke first, his smile appropriate and professional. "The recent hedging operations by [Smile Holdings] in the European energy sector were exceptionally brilliant. Our risk managent departnt is still reviewing that case."

Secretary Jin turned slightly, elegant yet sharp. "You flatter , Mr. Coleman. We were rely trying to find a bit of certainty within an uncertain market."

"Ms. Mira."

"Ms. Jin."

Several other big shots greeted her in turn.

Secretary Jin responded to each one.

Without excessive words, yet making each feel genuinely acknowledged.

This was her style—

Controlling the overall situation without making people feel pressured.

Of course, those present knew the real her was far more dangerous than she appeared.

After the round of pleasantries concluded.

Their gazes inevitably slid towards the young Eastern man.

A glint of sharpness flashed in Thomas Gray's keen eyes as he proactively extended his hand. "Hello, Mr. Tang. I'm Thomas Gray from Morgan Stanley. I have deeply reviewed several key M&

A cases by [Rongliu Capital] in the Asia-Pacific region. The precision of their investnt logic is impressive. I just never imagined the helmsman of this giant vessel would be so young."

Once this identity was revealed, the surrounding crowd, who had been all ears, instantly stirred.

"Hello, Mr. Gray." Tang Song's voice held just the right amount of ease. "You flatter . Morgan Stanley's insights in the TMT field have always been an important reference point for us."

He didn't offer excessive explanations, nor was he overly modest, rely calmly confirming his identity.

Although he rarely made public appearances and his photos were deliberately controlled, these financial groups with business intersections would inevitably have his information.

Especially after the joint capital injection by Kate Trust and Tangjin into Rongliu Capital last ti, such moves couldn't escape the notice of these attentive parties.

Subsequently, several other heavyweight guests also stepped forward.

"Mr. Tang, I've long heard of your na. I'm Wade Haas from Blackstone Group."

"Hello, I'm Joseph Lin from PIMCO."

"Mr. Tang, it's truly an honor to et you here."

Tang Song handled them with ease, each sentence perfectly balancing distance and courtesy.

His smile was clean, his eyes clear and bright, his tone relaxed yet steady.

There was none of the eagerness of a nouveau riche desperate to integrate into the circle, nor did he resemble an upstart scrambling to climb the social ladder.

Secretary Jin stood slightly to his side, seemingly chatting casually with the Goldman Sachs CFO beside her.

But the corner of her eye remained like a gentle net, faintly enveloping Tang Song.

Protection, observation, understanding, possessiveness...

All these emotions were perfectly hidden beneath her impeccable smile.

Occasionally, their gazes would briefly et in the air.

She would then push the gold-rimd glasses on the bridge of her nose, releasing emotions only he could understand.

The presence of the two of them subtly began to alter the trajectory of the entire cocktail party's atmosphere.

Soon, the circle centered around them grew larger, becoming the focal point of the entire venue.

And as Adrian, Coleman, and the others conversed,

More information about Tang Song began to spread like quicksilver.

Chairman of Rongliu Capital.

New Global CEO of Xuanji Optical World.

[Rongliu Capital]—they had naturally heard of it due to the previous news of the capital injection.

It initially rose from high-frequency quantitative trading, its algorithm models exceptionally precise and ruthless, harvesting substantial profits in the secondary market.

In the following years, it rapidly transford, bringing its capital into the primary market with a terrifyingly steady style.

As for [Xuanji Optical World], anyone with knowledge in the TMT and tech fields had naturally heard the na.

It integrated Tang Yi Precision's hardware advantages with Qingning Technology's algorithmic core, viewed by Silicon Valley as the strongest contender for the "next-generation spatial computing platform."

He both controlled vast liquid capital and held a top-tier hard tech giant.

And both were tightly linked to the massive Tangjin system.

Undoubtedly, this was a core mber, a genuine top-tier new elite.

...

At so point, the five representatives from [Tiancheng Capital] had erged from the side hall.

They stood on the stone steps connecting to the courtyard, gazing excitedly across a towering, crystal-clear champagne tower at the vortex in the center of the courtyard.

"Rongliu Capital... I've heard of it. They have a WOFE in Yancheng, on the 50th floor of our building... I never imagined Tang Song was the chairman!"

"Ziming, you've really kept this hidden!"

"Rongliu Capital is now one of the top private equity firms in Asia."

VP Zhang Zhe, his face slightly flushed, couldn't help but pat Lu Ziming's shoulder, his tone carrying barely suppressed excitent and eagerness:

"Ziming, this is your university classmate. You've really hit the jackpot this ti."

They all understood that Lu Ziming was about to take off.

However, Lu Ziming, at the center of these complints, felt the voices around him grow sowhat distorted at that mont.

Standing at the edge of the steps, he felt the expensive carpet beneath his feet turn to cotton, his entire body feeling light and floaty.

His longti brother, his university roommate, was actually the chairman of a top-tier private equity fund?!

And the global CEO of a multinational tech giant?!

In that instant, he even felt his back go numb, his blood rushing backwards.

"Ziming, aren't you going over? That's Director Jin, plus the core executives from Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Tangjin..."

"Yeah, if you go over, no one would say anything. If you could seize the chance to get acquainted, that would be simply..."

His colleagues' encouraging words ca one after another.

Lu Ziming's heart was also stirred, burning faintly.

He certainly knew the heights Tang Song now stood at.

But no matter what, they were classmates, brothers, people who had played gas together in the dorm,

People who had stood in line together in the cafeteria.

And he knew Tang Song's personality;

he wasn't a cold person.

Besides, it was he who brought Tang Song into this cocktail party.

At a ti like this, as an ambitious, upwardly mobile finance professional,

If he didn't even have the courage to step forward and say hello,

Then his life would truly be set in its mold.

His gaze passed over the crowd, landing on Tang Song in the core area.

That place was radiant, pulsing with power.

Lu Ziming took a deep breath, straightened his spine, and stepped forward.

The closer he got, the greater the pressure from the surrounding aura.

His face uncontrollably flushed, his steps becoming sowhat unsteady.

But finally, he mustered his courage and stood at the outermost edge of the core circle!

He was just about to find a suitable mont to speak.

"Clap!"

Ms. Sloan elegantly clapped her hands.

Her gaze swept around, finally settling on Tang Song, the corner of her mouth curving into a brilliant smile. "Mr. Tang, I believe the atmosphere is just right now. That bottle of Salon 2002, asleep for twenty years, should it be awakened?"

The "Tang Song" that had reached Lu Ziming's lips was forcibly swallowed back.

He stood frozen in place, watching this scene, his heart pounding wildly.

"As you wish, Ms. Sloan." Tang Song smiled slightly, turning to look at Shen Yuyan behind him, his voice gentle. "Shirley, open it."

Ms. Sloan raised her chin slightly. A waiter imdiately brought over a slender long table covered with a white cloth.

Shen Yuyan took a deep breath, suppressing all her emotions deep into her soul, regaining her inherent elegance.

Under everyone's watchful eyes, she placed that heavy black briefcase on the table.

"Click—" The lock snapped open.

Revealing the bottle of Salon 2002 inside, gleaming with a cold, gorgeous luster.

Shen Yuyan put on white gloves, took another deep breath, and with practiced, elegant movents, extracted the bottle.

The mont she grasped the neck of the bottle, she felt a clear, cool, yet gentle gaze fall upon her.

Looking up, she saw Director Jin quietly watching her.

Her brows and eyes were gentle, the corners of her lips slightly curved, yet carrying a penetrating understanding that seed to see through all her thoughts.

Her heart gave a violent lurch, and she imdiately lowered her eyelids, forcing all her emotions back into her chest.

She steadily completed opening the bottle.

Her current state of mind was a mix of excitent and exhilaration at facing her idol, and the fear of a "little lover" facing the "legitimate wife."

A waiter approached with a tray holding several extrely thin Zalto champagne glasses.

Tang Song didn't let the waiter take over. He stepped forward personally, his slender fingers gripping the cool bottle, his wrist turning gently.

His movents were calm and elegant, as if everything was under his control.

Pale golden wine wound its way down the side of the glass, delicate bubbles rising rrily from the bottom, emitting a faint "hiss."

He raised a glass, offering it to Ms. Sloan. His gaze was steady, his voice low and llow. "Ms. Sloan, the uniqueness of Salon lies in its extre adherence to a single terroir and its long wait for ti."

Tang Song paused, his tone taking on a aningful note of praise. "Much like the style you have displayed—keen, resolute, and always striking right at the heart. Thank you for this gift, and congratulations on winning your own battlefield."

To outsiders, this sounded like praise for a friend who had given a generous gift, a gentlemanly congratulation for her professional success—appropriate and elegant.

But in Sloan's ears, this was the highest accolade.

He was fulfilling a promise, affirming her thods, acknowledging her value.

Ms. Sloan took a deep breath. A trace of barely concealed satisfaction flashed in her usually strong eyes.

She stepped forward, gracefully accepting the glass.

"This is just the beginning."

A round of understanding applause rippled around them.

Sloan gently swirled her glass, her gaze sweeping the circle once more before returning to Tang Song. She raised her glass in a toast and drank it all in one go.

Spiciness and sweetness exploded in her throat—

That was the taste of power, also the taste of victory.

Tang Song lifted the bottle of Salon 2002 again.

This ti, his movents noticeably slowed, the strength in his wrist gentle.

The pale golden wine flowed along the side of the glass, controlled by him into a nearly still, soft light.

He looked up.

She stood there, quietly watching him.

As if waiting.

A smile appeared on Tang Song's face as he picked up the glass and offered it to her.

She raised her hand. Her clear, spirited eyes sparkled with lively light.

The mont their fingertips touched,

Their skin made brief contact.

Tang Song's breath hitched slightly.

Secretary Jin's eyelashes also fluttered faintly.

But the next second, both recovered their social decorum with tacit understanding.

She steadily took the glass, raising it lightly to her chest. Her gaze passed over the crystal-clear rim of the glass, eting his.

The corners of her lips curved, her dimples shallow.

"Thank you."

Her voice was soft, yet it felt like a feather brushing the heart.

[Secretary Jin Smile Count 2/10]

She tilted her head back slightly, her red lips touching the wine, suprely elegant.

"Mr. Tang, Ms. Sloan..." Adrian Phelps approached half-jokingly. "If permitted, I'd also like to share in the fortune of this bottle of Salon. You know, my collection cabinet hasn't had a new mber in a long ti. The taste is truly nostalgic."

Simon raised his glass slightly, with a British gentleman's teasing tone. "I wonder if I might have the sa honor."

Elena, seemingly casual, yet with a burning gaze: "You all know I love to drink."

Several others spoke up in turn, their tones warm and earnest.

No one overstepped, no one tried to steal the spotlight.

Not even daring to touch the bottle before Tang Song did.

Just then.

Shen Yuyan, standing behind Tang Song, felt a gaze fall upon her again.

She looked up. Sure enough, it was Director Jin again.

This ti, the other's line of sight was clear: her hands, the champagne, then back to her face.

Shen Yuyan's heart lurched, and in an instant, understanding dawned.

She took a deep breath, mustered her courage, and stepped forward elegantly, appearing appropriately at Tang Song's side.

"Mr. Tang, if you permit ... let pour the wine for the distinguished guests. Being able to share your burden on such an occasion is my greatest honor. I also hope to have the opportunity to learn true professionalism and grace from all of you."

Her tone held just the right amount of respect and admiration,

Making it very pleasant to hear.

Tang Song glanced at her, approval in his gaze.

"Alright."

Shen Yuyan let out a soft sigh of relief. With both hands, she took the heavy bottle. Standing under the spotlight of this top-tier power arena, she began to pour the wine.

Secretary Jin's gaze finally left her, seemingly sweeping casually over Adrian, Simon, and the others, yet a cold sharpness flickered deep in her eyes.

The backs of the several n went cold, and they averted their gazes one after another.

Shifting the topic back to harmless discussions of art and weather.

Only then did she withdraw her gaze, looking back at Tang Song.

Her dimples appeared again.

Human hearts were always greedy.

What she truly worried about was these people misreading Tang Song's gentleness and politeness.

Developing further ideas.

They had to understand that Tang Song was not soone who could be coerced, manipulated, or influenced.

This was her absolute forbidden zone.

...

The champagne bubbles gently leaped.

The air floated with the scent of expensive fragrance.

A genuine upper-echelon Wall Street drinking session elegantly unfolded in the garden courtyard.

Tang Song picked up a glass of champagne and handed it to Lu Ziming, who was still lingering at the edge of the crowd, looking sowhat awkward.

He gently patted his old classmate's shoulder, softly saying "Relax," then smoothly ushered him into a circle of young investors discussing erging markets.

After chatting with them for a few monts, Tang Song turned and left.

He moved like an elegant fish, gliding through the sea of fragrant perfus and elegant attire.

People frequently raised their glasses to him, trying to catch the eye of this mysterious new elite.

He responded with a smile and a nod, occasionally raising his glass in acknowledgnt, but his steps never paused.

Taking advantage of a mont when the crowd around Secretary Jin thinned slightly,

Tang Song naturally drew closer, without the slightest hint of abruptness.

He walked to her side. Under the pretext of adjusting his stance as he turned, the glass in his hand lightly, almost imperceptibly, touched the side of her glass.

"Ding~"

A crisp sound drifted between their ears.

Secretary Jin's movents paused slightly as she looked up.

Tang Song looked at her, lowering his voice. "I heard there's a Verer painting called *The Interrupted Music Lesson* in the Frick Collection. Interested in going to critique it together?"

A flicker of amusent flashed in Secretary Jin's eyes, her expression instantly becoming animated.

She turned to face the group chatting animatedly. "My apologies, everyone. The fluctuations in the bond market are indeed fascinating, but as I ntioned earlier, [Tangjin] is reassessing its global asset allocation. There are so key details regarding liquidity that, I believe, I need to find a quiet place to contemplate alone."

Having said that, Secretary Jin turned gracefully, tracing a captivating arc.

Tang Song gave a slight bow to the group, raised his glass in a debonair gesture, then stepped forward to follow.

The two of them, like two rays of light quietly extracted from the noisy world, naturally converged towards the sa secluded spot.

Watching their retreating figures, the elites left behind exchanged aningful glances.

"It seems Tangjin really is about to make a big move."

"Liquidity check? I think it's more about redrawing spheres of influence."

"Shh... That level of ga is not for us to peek into."

Only Ms. Sloan, watching this scene, gently swirled her glass, a faint smile curling at the corner of her mouth.

The Frick Collection, Verer Gallery.

This was the core area of the collection, specially cleared out.

The light was gentle, the silence profound, as if a world apart from the clamor outside.

Secretary Jin stopped before a painting, seemingly seriously appreciating the girl whose music lesson had been interrupted within the fra.

The sound of footsteps behind her stopped.

Quiet. Soundless.

But she could clearly feel a scorching gaze falling upon her back.

That gaze felt almost tangible, sliding along her voluminous brown hair, over her straight spine, finally lingering on her slender waist and taut hip line.

Her chest tightened slightly.

She gently pursed her lips, as if suppressing so emotion about to overflow, and slowly turned around.

Not deliberately striking a pose, just leaning back slightly, her waist lightly resting against the edge of the guardrail.

The high-quality pencil skirt outlined the taut lines of her thighs.

Gaze and breath collided.

Secretary Jin didn't speak, just slightly raised her chin, quietly gazing at him.

Tang Song, clad in [Mist Gentleman], stepped forward, breaking the social safety distance.

He walked right up to her.

So close he could sll the unique fragrance on her, like white callia, or like morning mist brushed by the wind.

On that exquisitely beautiful face, her skin was so fair it was nearly translucent, even the fine down at her temples clearly visible.

On her elegantly straight nose bridge, those gold-rimd glasses glead coldly, adding a touch of intellectual, cool allure with a hint of asceticism.

Her full, red lips were slightly pursed, as if enduring, also as if waiting.

Tang Song raised his hand.

His slender fingertips touched a strand of brown hair fallen by her ear.

The hair was slightly cool, smooth as silk.

His fingers slowly slid down along the strand, his fingertips brushing past her sensitive earlobe, causing a faint tremor to run through her.

Finally, his palm, warm and firm, landed on her slender yet full shoulder line.

Real touch. Warm body temperature.

A massive sense of fulfillnt flooded Tang Song's chest.

His fingertips pressed down slightly.

"Secretary Jin..."
