Now reading: Chapter 61: Elyndor Academy from Maybe I really am a Villian, a Fantasy novel by ACoward.

An elf who ford a contract with a spirit could gain overwhelming control over a specific elent, and sotis even receive special abilities from that spirit.

Because of this, the training thods used for elves were completely different from those used for humans.

But elves also had a flaw — their bodies were far more fragile compared to other races.

Humans could also form contracts with spirits, but the number of humans capable of doing so was extrely low.

And one of the reasons for this trip to Elyndor Academy was to see if any students could successfully form a contract with spirits.

Because of this, every visit to Elyndor Academy was considered very important by human academies.

If even one student managed to form a contract with a spirit, it would greatly increase both the student’s value and the Academy’s reputation.

But forming a spirit contract was not easy.

Spirits were proud beings and they chose their own contractors.

So preferred talent, so liked strong willpower, while others simply acted according to their mood.

anwhile, dwarves were different once again.

Unlike elves, dwarves were not very talented in elental magic, but they possessed extrely powerful physical bodies and high mana durability.

Their specialties were rune crafting, weapon forging, enchantnts, and reinforcent magic.

Most of the best magic weapons and artifacts on the continent were created by dwarves.

As for beastkin and other demi-human races, many of them possessed unique racial abilities.

So had enhanced senses, so possessed imnse physical strength, while others had natural affinity toward certain elents.

Because of these racial differences, every race had different thods of learning and training.

That was the main reason separate academies existed in the first place.

And demons also had their own unique qualities. They could devour other species to advance in ranks, and that was also one of the main reasons why the other races hated demons.

Asher then shook his head and said, "No need to think about those demons for now."

Asher then stopped thinking about demons and returned his attention to the classroom.

anwhile, the classroom was still noisy.

So students were talking about elves, so about spirits, while others were discussing the practical exams.

Noah then looked at Aria and asked, "Do you think students from Elyndor Academy will also participate in the practical exam?"

Aria nodded slightly. "Most likely."

At this, Noah’s expression imdiately beca serious.

After all, Elyndor Academy students were famous for their talent in magic.

Adam then said, "I heard many elves there already form contracts with spirits at young age."

Noah sighed. "And here I am still struggling to properly control my spells."

anwhile, Asher remained calm.

While students were still talking to each other.

Elisa lightly tapped the desk.

The classroom gradually beca silent again.

Then Elisa said, "You all should focus on your theoretical exams first before thinking about Elyndor Academy."

After saying this, she began teaching.

After all the classes ended, it was ti for lunch.

In the cafeteria, Asher’s team was having lunch.

Then Noah said, "How much did you guys study for tomorrow’s exam?"

Adam said, "I have studied enough. I am confident in getting a top 10 rank in theory."

Aria just said, "Enough."

Adam and Noah did not say anything else, knowing she would probably get 1st rank in theory. What else could you even expect from a Velmora?

Then they looked at Asher, who was peacefully eating his lunch.

Asher looked at them and said, "I haven’t studied, but I am sure I will at least get passing marks, and those are enough for . Theory marks do not even matter much. I will just score more in practicals and maintain my rank."

Adam said, "As expected of you, I am not even surprised."

Asher just looked at him and said, "Why should I care about my results? It’s not like I have to find a job or earn rit, so why care about studying? I would rather just enjoy my life to the fullest."

Adam looked at him and sighed. "Sotis I really envy your mindset."

Noah imdiately nodded in agreent.

"Sa. anwhile, I’m here worrying about exams and future rankings."

Asher just said, "Well, keep trying your best for your future."

Asher then looked at Aria and asked, "You must have t many elves and mbers of the royal elf family at noble events, unlike . So, how are they?"

Aria thought for a mont before replying, "Most elves are prideful."

Adam also nodded. "Yeah, especially the royal family."

Noah looked at him and asked, "You t them too?"

Adam nodded. "A few tis during noble events."

Then he continued, "Most of them speak politely, but you can still feel that they look down on humans."

Aria calmly said, "Not all of them are bad. So older elves are reasonable, but the younger generation is usually more arrogant."

Noah sighed. "Yeah... I suddenly don’t feel very excited about going there anymore."

Asher, however, looked completely calm.

Then he asked, "Do they really hate humans that much?"

Aria shook her head slightly. "Not exactly hate. Most just look down on humans because humans have lower affinity with mana and shorter lifespans."

Aria then looked at Asher and said, "But I am really excited for this trip. It will be fun to see their reactions when they witness your absurd mana control."

Noah imdiately nodded in agreent.

"Yeah, I actually want to see the expressions of those arrogant elves when they realize a human student has better mana control than them."

Adam also smirked slightly. "That would definitely be interesting."

anwhile, Asher just said, "That ans this trip will be a pain for . I just hope it can end peacefully, and maybe I can enjoy so especially good desserts or fruits there."

Aria looked slightly amused. "Elven fruits and desserts are actually famous across the continent."

Asher nodded at her and said, "Yeah, I have tried them before. They are really good, but I don’t really have a large stock of them. I hope I can get a lot of them this ti."
