Of course, this was just Ning Fan's twisted sense of humor. He knew very well that the Exorcism Association's control over real estate was not for profit.

Instead, it was to expand its power by granting residency rights here.

An Arcadia far from worldly troubles is undoubtedly a haven for these Hunters who lick blood off the blade.

At least here, they can sleep without worrying about having their throats slit in the middle of the night.

It was precisely by leveraging the geographical advantages of the Demon Domain that the Exorcism Association has risen from a subsidiary force of the Sanctuary of Light to an equal standing.

To say they are equals might be an exaggeration, but at least they can openly defy and counteract the orders of the Sanctuary.

"Ahead is the Exorcism Association."

Gazing at the gothic white building ahead and the hundreds of people gathered in a mass on the square, Ning Fan finally understood why the streets were empty.

These people seed to be protesting sothing, blocking the headquarters' entrance and staging a mass sit-in demonstration.

"My goodness, it really is a gathering of all sorts of freaks and monsters here."

Looking at these bizarre creatures, Ning Fan almost thought he had wandered into a large-scale comic convention.

Since arriving in the West, Ning Fan had only seen three kinds of Alien Clan: Werewolves, Vampires, and counting Ghost Mary.

But here, there were at least seven or eight different species of the Alien Clan.

Noticing the puzzlent in Ning Fan's eyes, Alice explained, "The ones that look like they're made of granite are called Hill Giants."

Ning Fan asked, puzzled, "Hill Giants, are they really made of stone?"

"Nope."

Alice covered her mouth with a laugh, "Hill Giants are a branch of Giants. Due to their innate Earth Magic, under the influence of magic power, their bodies are as hard as rock, making them look like people made of stones."

Ning Fan gave an awkward chuckle, "Well...the world is full of wonders."

"The ones with goat horns on their heads, tail like a dagger, small stature, and pitch-black bodies are called Imps, who accidentally ca to this world from the Abyss Demon Realm."

Alice advised, "Never trust a word the Imps say. They're inherently deceitful and love to manipulate people's hearts."

As if hearing this, the sitting Imp turned its sinister red pupils toward the two.

Usually timid, Alice this ti puffed up and glared back fiercely.

Just a mont ago, the Imps full of dark Fangs and grim faces imdiately changed to an obsequious smile.

Alice triumphantly laughed, "That's an Imp for you, even more cowardly than a mouse."

Noticing the icy glimr deep in the Imp's eyes and the faint magic power emanating from it, Ning Fan naturally wouldn't believe Alice's words.

Imps weren't cowardly; they simply understood the ways of survival too well.

For the sake of survival, they completely disregard sothing as trivial as face.

If an Imp possessed powerful strength, Ning Fan was sure it would show a completely different face.

Ning Fan frowned and asked, "Is there really an Abyss Demon Realm?"

"Of course, there is. Many Black Magic practices can communicate with the Abyss Demon Realm, summoning demons from it."

"What kind of world is it?"

"I'm not too sure. I've heard my father ntion it. The Abyss Demon Realm is a place of survival of the fittest, with true Demon God level masters."

"Demon God level?"

Ning Fan felt a surge of astonishnt.

This mix of demons and gods, just the na alone sounds extraordinary.

"They're like Demon Lords, Monarchs..."

Listening to the nas of demons from Western myths and legends one by one, Ning Fan asked incredulously, "Aren't you afraid that summoning Imps will bring those Demon God level masters over?"

"It won't happen. Our world is protected by Origin Laws, making it impossible for these Demon Gods to enter in their true bodies, at most only projecting a shadow clone."

Alice added, "No matter how advanced a Demon God's cultivation is, the power of their projected clone is very weak, not much to worry about."

Listening to Alice's introduction, Ning Fan felt this world growing increasingly mysterious.

"If one day, these Origin Laws disappear, the consequences..."

Thinking about certain things, Ning Fan instinctively glanced toward that Imp.

As if sensing sothing, the Imp was just staring back at him, a flash of cunning and smugness in its eyes.

"Since the bigwigs in the West trust the Imps, they must have their reasons."

Ning Fan shook his head, his gaze suddenly caught by sothing else, unwilling to look away.

What ca into view were several young girls in leather armor, their white jade-like skin partially revealed beneath the half-body armor, even fairer than Alice's.

These blonde-haired, blue-eyed girls all had slender figures and delicate features, especially that serene temperant, akin to lotus erging from water.

What truly surprised Ning Fan was not the beauty of the girls' faces but their pointed ears and the four dragonfly-like wings on their backs.

Ning Fan gulped, stamring slightly, "Are they... the legendary Elves?"

"They are Natural Elves."

In his state of shock, Ning Fan didn't notice the jealousy in Alice's words.

"Real Elves. Wow! It's incredible."

Compared to other fierce Alien Clan, it was these beautiful Elves that truly shocked Ning Fan's heart.

Perhaps Ning Fan's gaze was too unrestrained, the few Elves in conversation flapped their wings, turning their gaze towards him.

Alice pouted in slight displeasure, "It's very impolite to stare at the Alien Clan like that."

Since the Exorcism Association changed its philosophy over a thousand years, many Alien Clan entities have been attracted to their banner.

So clans even moved their entire population due to low numbers.

To create a peaceful world and dispel prejudice between humans and Alien Clan, the Exorcism Association has put in a lot of effort.

They even implented a provision to prevent racial discrimination.

Humans and the Alien Clan are not allowed to point fingers and make insulting gestures.

It is precisely due to the Exorcism Association's strong actions that today, humans and Alien Clan can set aside their prejudices and live in harmony.

Ning Fan's earlier behavior, in so ways, was already considered racial discrimination.

With Alice's reminder, Ning Fan reined in his ogled expression and continued to observe the crowd of over a hundred.

Aside from the Alien Clan, there were also normal humans among them,

Whose grey hair and missing limbs made it obvious that these were retired Hunters.

"So it seems the Exorcism Association is sowhat kind, at least they've settled well these Hunters who risked their lives. But..."

Ning Fan pondered, rubbing his chin, "Then what are they staging a sit-in for?"

Just at that mont, a commotion surged through the sitting crowd.

The tightly closed headquarters doors showed signs of opening.

"Though the environnt here is very vintage, the working system is quite advanced."

Looking up at the sun in the sky and calculating by direction, it's now approximately between one and two o'clock, coinciding with the external working hours.
