However, this rooster overturned Ning Fan’s impression.
Ning Fan saw with his own eyes, this experintal rooster, flapping its wings madly as it ran, and then flapping its wings to ascend.
It wasn’t gliding by flapping but was more like a bird, flapping and hovering low in the sky.
“Brother-in-law, this one surely is a warrior chicken, a king…”
Xu Xiaoqing hadn’t finished speaking when the warrior king chicken she ntioned fell vertically from the sky.
Ning Fan swiftly dashed over, then froze, “Dead?”
The rooster lay motionless, breathless, obviously dead.
“How did it die? Poisoned or so other reason?”

“Is it?”
Ning Fan placed his hand on the rooster, as soon as he touched it, he noticed the high temperature, “At least 60 degrees!”

Xu Xiaoqing said softly, and upon noticing Ning Fan’s gaze upon her, quickly hugged the puppy, “I certainly won’t let Grey try the dicine.”
Ning Fan scoffed, “Weren’t you just complaining about it being dirty over there? Now you don’t mind?”
Earlier at the market, Xu Xiaoqing had a look of disdain.
The usual vegetable stalls were acceptable, but the stinky live poultry area was truly too off-putting for a girl.
If Ning Fan hadn’t been there, Xu Xiaoqing would have gone as far away as possible.
“That was then, this is now.”
Xu Xiaoqing now felt the puppy in her arms looking more adorable.
“I won’t bother with you.”
Apart from the puppy in Xu Xiaoqing’s arms, none of the other live poultry Ning Fan bought, including one duck, two chickens, and three geese, escaped the fate of being used in testing.
Except for one big white goose, all the other poultry died.
The cause of death for these poultry was the sa; they couldn’t withstand the pill’s power and died from being overly supplented.
The sole survivor escaped this fate because Ning Fan used the last bit of pill residue, dissolved in water, to lessen the potency.
“Brother-in-law, what should we do with these poultry? Should we find a place to bury them?”
“Burying them would be a waste. Didn’t you want to eat them?”
Hearing this, Xu Xiaoqing was shocked, “No way, Brother-in-law. You really want to eat them?”
She then hesitated, “Are you sure these are edible?”
“Non-toxic and harmless, why wouldn’t they be edible.”
Ning Fan chuckled, “Maybe the at is even more delicious, so many people might want to eat it but can’t get it.”
Though the Spirit Pill didn’t look good, it was made by extracting the essence of the ingredients.
These poultry, although they couldn’t bear the pill power and died, in so sense, were nourished by Spiritual Energy.
Food nourished by Spiritual Energy surely has a higher edible value compared to before.
“I’m not going to eat.”
Xu Xiaoqing shivered and shook her head, not because she was a vegetarian,
but because the poultry died so strangely, she couldn’t get over the psychological hurdle.
“You say it as if soone’s begging you to.”
Ning Fan carried the poultry toward the kitchen.
“The pill should definitely be fine, at least it’s not poisonous. I just don’t know how much Spiritual Energy is contained inside.”
He couldn’t be certain because he hadn’t personally tested the dicine.
“Once I refine a finished pill, I’ll try it myself.”
Afterward, Ning Fan started preparing dinner.
