Capítulo 1891: Chapter 1880: Making a Decision

These two completely opposite types of temperant blended together perfectly, without the slightest sense of discord.

The thing that Ning Fan found most peculiar was.

Although Chen Min’s facial features hadn’t changed, Ning Fan felt that she now looked quite different from before, as if she were two entirely different people.

“Could it be that this is Chen Min’s true appearance, and she was disguised before?”

At that mont, Chen Min softly asked, “What are you looking at?”

“You’re so beautiful.”

Blurted out Ning Fan, but noticing the blush on Chen Min’s cheeks, he quickly anded, “I an, are you feeling better now?”

“Much better, I’ll go check on Mingyu.”

With a soft moan, Chen Min turned and left.

Not sure if it was an illusion, when Chen Min turned her head, Ning Fan seed to catch a glimpse of pure white eyes.

Monts later, when Chen Min appeared again, Ning Fan shook his head, thinking he must have seen it wrong.

Even though Chen Min wasn’t wearing glasses, Ning Fan noticed that sa dowdy aura.

“It must be so kind of Blinding thod, to downplay her presence. Just think, even I was dazzled; one can only imagine those drooling types.”

Ning Fan nodded to himself, then apologized, “Sorry, I shouldn’t have spoken so carelessly.”

“This has nothing to do with you; it’s my own inadequate cultivation.”

Chen Min shook her head, then smiled, “Thank you, Ning Fan, without you, the consequences would be unimaginable.”

“Let’s not keep thanking each other. As friends, helping each other is what we should do.”

Chen Min softly said, “Friends?”

Ning Fan quipped, “Is it possible that a fairy from the Earth Immortal Realm looks down on a common mortal like , who struggles in the mundane world?”

“You’re joking.”

Chen Min laughed lightly, but behind her smile was a bitterness no one could detect.

In just a few days, she would completely leave this world, with nothing to do with it anymore.

No matter how hard it was to let go, it was ultimately an insurmountable chasm.

“I will never forget everything here, and you…this friend.”

“Then that’s fine.”

Ning Fan shrugged and smiled, “I’ll co to look for you in the Earth Immortal Realm for tea soday; don’t pretend not to know then.”

Hearing this, Chen Min excitedly said, “Promise , please don’t go to the Earth Immortal Realm, okay?”

“What’s going on?”

“Promise , please don’t go, okay?”

Seeing Chen Min nearly pleading, Ning Fan hesitated, “I… I don’t know how to answer you.”

Ever since Ning Fan learned of the Earth Immortal Realm’s existence, a trace of longing grew in him.

He couldn’t be sure if he would go to that magical land in the years to co.

As his cultivation continued to improve, he yearned more and more for a broader world.

Admittedly, Earth is currently a kind of dilemma for Ning Fan.

“Sorry, I lost my composure.”

While Ning Fan was pondering, Chen Min had already cald down.

“I know you care about ,” Ning Fan smiled, “Don’t worry, I won’t go there for now.”

Despite its cruelty, Ning Fan made a decision.

If he truly couldn’t resist the Spirit Seeker and save Baby Hai, he wouldn’t follow them to the Earth Immortal Realm, at least not at this stage.

“At least wait for three years.”

In any case, Ning Fan had to resolve things with the Corpse Raising Ground’s forces.

“Who cares about you.”

Chen Min muttered angrily, then asked, “Are you still going to Mount Tai?”

“Yes, of course.”

Noticing the doubt in Chen Min’s eyes, Ning Fan laughed at himself, “Do you think I’m overestimating my abilities?”

Chen Min remained silent, acknowledging the futility of his efforts.

“It’s the effort that counts. Not saving soone is one thing,” Ning Fan said solemnly, “but not going ans I would regret it for a lifeti.”

“Alright.”

Chen Min stopped her attempts to dissuade him; after all, with her presence, Ning Fan’s life wouldn’t be in danger even if he failed.

The night sky around three or four in the morning remained pitch black. Despite being a tropolis like the Sleepless City, the quiet streets announced the desolation of its bustle.

They seed to have said all they needed, and Ning Fan hesitated, “It’s still a long way till dawn; you guys should rest. I’ll co find you later.”

“Where can you go at this late hour?”

Saying this, Chen Min seed to realize the ambiguity of her words and softly added, “Just spend the night here. When Mingyu wakes, we’ll set out together.”

“Then I won’t be polite.”

Thick-skinned Ning Fan seed oblivious to the concept of “being polite.”

“Suit yourself.”

Ning Fan initially thought Chen Min would say more, but she threw this sentence as she turned and walked into the bedroom.

“How am I supposed to sleep without a bed or blanket?”

Ning Fan scratched his head in puzzlent and could only sit on the chair with his eyes closed to rest.

Ning Fan had just started cultivating and didn’t understand many things.

Those in cultivation rarely sleep naturally, but instead ditate.

If not for the adopted orphan girl, there wouldn’t be a bed at all in Chen Min’s residence.

Accustod to ditating, Chen Min naturally thought Ning Fan did the sa and didn’t ask further.

While Ning Fan ditated, two graceful figures flew through the sky towards the suburbs of the capital,

One was an absolutely stunning beauty with flowing robes, as ethereal as a celestial being descending to earth.

Unfortunately, such a scene was not for ordinary mortals to witness.

If Ning Fan were here, he’d discover that one was the very Baby Hai he had been searching for so assiduously.

At this mont, Baby Hai was excitedly pointing downward, “Sister Feihong, it’s that house with the red painted exterior.”

The white-robed fairy with flowing clothes, with a voice as lodious as an oriole sang, “Baobao, do you rember what you promised ?”

Hearing this, Baby Hai’s excitent instantly vanished, and she said chanically with a bitter face, “Cannot expose our whereabouts, cannot leave marks. In short, leave no trace whatsoever.”

Feihong nodded, “As long as you understand.”

“Sister Feihong, you must stick to what you promised earlier.”

“Don’t call sister anymore. From now on, address as Senior Sister Feihong.”

Feihong furrowed her brows briefly, then smiled lightly, “A senior sister wouldn’t lie to you. Baobao, rember, you’re now a disciple of the Red Leaf Pavilion. Understand?”

“I understand, Senior Sister Feihong.”

“Alright. Let’s go down then.”

With a thought, Feihong silently landed on the lawn with Baby Hai.

“Let’s go.”

Feihong headed towards the front door as Baby Hai took out the key, only to find a human-sized hole in the door.

It wasn’t a result of physical damage but resembled a magical portal of sorts.

Even though she had seen similar Immortal Techniques before, Baby Hai’s eyes glinted with envy each ti she saw it.

“This must be the legendary Immortal’s Taoist Technique.”

Rembering certain things, Baby Hai’s face turned a flushed shade of pink with eagerness.

“What are you still dawdling for?”

Feihong, with a gentle laugh, said, “This is just a simple Wall-Penetrating Technique; once you join the Red Leaf Pavilion, you’ll learn many profound Taoist Magic Divine Powers.”
