Capítulo 1948: Chapter 1937: Courting Death with Provocation
In the past, Ning Fan preferred to use action over argunts, but now it’s the complete opposite.
Facing the massive body of the Black Dragon, as large as a small mountain, Ning Fan truly didn’t know how to wear it down.
The Dragon Blood flowing out of the Black Dragon could be asured by the barrel, yet it remained lively and vigorous, demonstrating its strong Vitality.
This was just one of the reasons, the main reason was that Ning Fan felt particularly aggrieved.
He had at least saved the Black Dragon once, not expecting gratitude in return, but it shouldn’t have returned kindness with enmity.
The crucial part was that there was no grievance or grudge, making this battle utterly inexplicable.
The Black Dragon seed to understand human speech, its head tilted slightly to the right, as if considering Ning Fan’s proposal.
Just when Ning Fan thought there was hope, the Black Dragon opened its mouth, and a pillar of dark red Dragon Fla flew towards him.
The temperature within the fla pillar was extrely high, scorching the air with crackling sounds.
“Damn!”
Swiftly raising a middle finger, Ning Fan dodged past the fla pillar.
The missed pillar of fire turned the shop behind Ning Fan into a field of lava.
Taking hits without striking back was not Ning Fan’s style.
With Spiritual Energy surging, countless crescent-shaped Spiritual Qi Blades surged towards the Black Dragon.
In the sounds of clangs and bangs, mingled the Black Dragon’s mocking laughter, resembling a duck’s quack.
Instead of a fire pillar, Ning Fan was t with a dark red Fireball.
“Spitting again!”
Caught off guard, Ning Fan was once again engulfed in Dragon Fla. He thought the Black Dragon was going to spit another pillar of fire, which was not as quick as the Dragon Fla.
After landing a hit, the Black Dragon did not hesitate, opening its mouth wide, spewing Dragon Fla like a continuous barrage.
Though the Dragon Fla’s attack wasn’t lethal, the high temperature and corrosiveness it carried were not to be underestimated.
Ning Fan didn’t want to find out if his True Body could withstand Dragon Fla without the protection of Spiritual Energy.
Fortunately, the speed of the Dragon Fla was within Ning Fan’s Perception,
Except for being carelessly hit earlier, the remaining attacks narrowly missed him.
Just then, Ning Fan’s pupils contracted, and he began to court danger with provocation.
“Big lizard, co on. Hit .”
Suspended in midair, Ning Fan swiftly flew around the Black Dragon.
During the previous attack, besides keeping its head high, the Black Dragon’s back half remained crouched on the ground.
Amongst more than ten Dragon Flas, besides the initial assaults being fierce and violent, the later ones beca slower and slower.
From this, Ning Fan made a bold assumption that the Black Dragon was not yet fully recovered.
“Even with the resurrection benefits of Divine Power, how much effect can such a tiny bit have, especially given the Black Dragon’s enormous size.”
Ning Fan continued the war of attrition, consuming Divine Power.
At present, the Black Dragon’s vigorous attacks were sustained by Divine Power, once both Divine Power and Magic Power were exhausted, the Black Dragon would beco a sitting duck.
Certainly, this was just one idea.
There were many ways to provoke the Black Dragon into attacking; Ning Fan had no need to foolishly jump around like a clown, making people laugh, as he had other intentions.
Ning Fan’s provocative antics did indeed infuriate the Black Dragon, whose barrage of Dragon Fla ca on fiercely.
Faced with a dense flurry of Dragon Fla, Ning Fan’s figure zigzagged left and right, up and down, taunting with, “Can’t hit , can’t hit …”
Ascending higher and looking down at the Black Dragon beneath him, Ning Fan laughed wildly, “Big lizard, if you have the ability, co up and hit .”
“Why aren’t you flying? Are your wings just for show?”

“Oh right. You’re so fat, your wings probably can’t carry you. Big lizard, you need to lose weight.”
…
The Black Dragon’s massive nostrils spewed two pillars of fire, its breathing sounded like a bellows being worked.
Its already blood-red irises were so dark and ominous they seed to be ready to drip blood.
At this mont, Ning Fan was finally certain that this Black Dragon could understand human speech, or at least perceive the good or ill intent from emotional fluctuations.
Evidently, Ning Fan was soone oozing with ill intentions.
If words alone could kill the enemy, Ning Fan wouldn’t mind talking until the end of ti.
But now, instead of the Black Dragon being unable to stand his taunting, it was thoroughly enraged.
With a thud, the Black Dragon’s two wings moved sharply, thrusting into the ground forcefully.
Like a knife through tofu, with sparks scattering, its wings easily pierced the stony ground.
Using the wings for support, the Black Dragon finally stood up.
Once its sturdy hind legs covered in scales supported it, the Black Dragon retracted its wings and then fiercely flapped them towards the ground.
The furious winds from both wings created two tornadoes,
which then rged to form a spiral airflow.
Ground debris, bloodstains, and other refuse scattered wildly in the spiral airflow.
Lifted by the airflow, the Black Dragon’s legs began to hover away from the ground.
The Black Dragon flapped its wings again, the raging gale like blades, not only tearing the ground into pieces but also shredding the spiral airflow.
When the spiral disappeared, the Black Dragon instantly vanished from where it stood, reappearing where Ning Fan had been.
But to the Black Dragon’s fury, Ning Fan was nowhere to be seen.
“You damn vermin, I will tear you to pieces.”
In the Black Dragon’s savage roar, the air started to distort restlessly, forming visible milky-white shockwaves.
Centered on the Black Dragon, the shockwaves spread in all directions.
As if battered by a brutal storm, the buildings on the ground began to collapse, raising a vast cloud of dust.
The Black Dragon’s blood-red right eye glared fiercely in one direction before transforming into an arrow and disappearing.
Where exactly was Ning Fan?
Ti rewound to monts earlier.
As the Black Dragon hovered, its feet lifted off the ground, Ning Fan glanced briefly, then chased after that streak of white light.
The Western Dragon Clan was inherently capable of flight, whether by their own wings or by magic, they could achieve flight.
Ning Fan knew this well, and he never considered using his flight advantage to confront the Black Dragon.
The reason he still recklessly provoked the Black Dragon obviously had ulterior motives.
“Finally made it. Fortunately, the Black Dragon didn’t notice her.”
Seeing Mary within reach, Ning Fan finally breathed a sigh of relief.
During the battle with the Black Dragon, Ning Fan always felt he was overlooking sothing, subconsciously restraining himself, afraid to unleash his full power.
After narrowly dodging the Dragon Fla again, when Ning Fan glimpsed a flash of white light in his peripheral vision, he realized what he had forgotten.
It was Mary.
Upon seeing the Black Dragon’s corpse, the deterrence released by this creature at the top of the food chain instantly terrified Mary, rendering her paralyzed on the ground unable to move.
At the ti, Ning Fan thought the Black Dragon was dead, and coupled with his focus on its cause of death, he didn’t notice Mary’s abnormality.
Who would have expected the situation to escalate so quickly, with the Black Dragon suddenly coming back to life, and without a word, launching an attack.
